Went from 2 to 3 years no claims whilst with this company and the renewal is over 3x the amount of the first insurance!!! Absolute joke.. Driven around 3000 miles this year and cant wait to remove their blackbox. Terrible company.

Hi Bobby We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your policy. Were you unfortunate enough to have a claim? We work with a panel of insurers and we will provide the most competitive quote available. We are sorry you are not happy with the price offered. Was there anything in particular that makes you want a policy without the box? The box monitors your driving behavior and how you drive will affect the score. You may either get refunds for driving well or, additional premiums for a low driving behavior score. Installing telematics in my car helps me to save a lot. My insurance went down because I don't usually drive the car always

I'm 30yrs of age using blackbox is ridiculous and not happy with it being mandatory I would not recommend this insurance company again

Our website and any comparison sites we use clearly state that WiseDriving is a telematics insurance provider and a device is required in order to have insurance with WiseDriving. have to cancel insurance within 4 days due to sale of car . I was charged £75 just as an cancellation which was within 14 days cooling period. Won't recommend this, its a rip off....

Hi, Thank you for your review. As stated in our terms and conditions; your policy is a contract for 12 months. If your insurance is cancelled for any reason you will be charged £75.00 in addition to the charge made by your insurer for the cover you have received. When you set up the policy you would have had to read and agree to our terms and conditions. A link to these terms is also included in all of our email correspondence we issue to our customers. Disgraceful. The WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. They wrote threatening to cancel my policy with no explanation. When I rang they were rude & lacked basic knowledge only to be told I needed to move my black box to the centre of the windscreen which I did so. 1 week later they cancelled my policy with no explanation or notice. I have paid them a lot of money and the box is on my screen. Their system is faulty.

Unnecessary they keep on sending the irrelevant emails such as we are sending refund when the insurance is more then 10 months due, please contact us otherwise we will cancel your policy etc etc. They fixed the box in my car due to which my music stopped working. This is the worst company i have came across in my 8 years of car insurance.

Awful experience. They cancelled my policy because they said I had nit fitted the black box within 14 days. HOWEVER, the box was only delivered THREE WEEKS after I took out the policy! I kept tracking it and it was delayed in Amsterdam. Their fault. Not mine! Trying to communicate with them is hopeless. They proudly say that their messenger on Facebook is monitored but every time I tried to use it a message was relayed that the system was faulty. Their call centre does not pass on or record relevant info. Disgusting company. They charged me £75 cancellation fee. AVOID!!!

Gave me a reasonable quote which I agreed to. Then they sent an email the following day saying they wanted another 950 pounds from me. I cancelled because I thought it was unfair and they charged me 75 pounds. Dishonest and sneaky company. Best avoided.

Mis sold black box insurance via compare the market. Charged 75 pounds to cancel after 1 day because I don't want a black box! Absolutely terrible customer service charging 75 pounds to cancel! Rubbish customer service. Can't get insured now because I have to wait 5 days for a refund!

Charging £75 to cancel a policy with 24hrs of starting it, should be a crime. Other companies charge £25 which is far more reasonable.

Massive scam. If you're thinking about insuring through them via their blackbox please reconsider. I insurved through them after driving for 5 years and thought i would try a blackbox for the first time as the premium was cheaper. I have a clean licence and drive trucks 40 hours a week but was told by this system that i was a high risk driver. After 5 weeks they informed me that as a result my premium would increase by 210 pounds!! I cancelled my policy immediately and got stung by the cancellation fee when it suddenly dawned on me that this is exactly what they intend on doing. Cowboys and daylight robbery. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Hi Jason, We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your policy. If your score decreases by 10 points or more, an additional premium may apply. We make it clear before you take up the policy, you may receive refunds or additional premiums based on your driving score. We encourage all of our customers to regularly check their personal driving dashboard, which gives a breakdown of the driving scores, along with tips for how to improve each score, which in turn can result in a reduction to the premium. All of our fee's are outlined in our terms and conditions, which you would have read and agreed to when taking up the policy. Many thanks, Lauren
