Failed to deliver, notified the day after expected delivery that the local provider could not meet the order. Was refunded but the occasion was missed completely.

You advertised delivery by Saturday 8 April on your website so I bought a bouquet for my Mum’s 98th birthday on that day. Next thing I know Floom is telling me they will deliver on the 12th because it’s a bank holiday. I asked for and hit a refund- but Loom should not advertise what it cannot deliver. Disappointed would be the best I can say.

Very unhappy with delivery item was delivered smelling strongly of some sort of chemical out of delivery drivers boot. Etched a mark in my wooden breakfast bar. Then I was told by the florist I should clean the vase before placing it and there was no spillage in boot of delivery driver. Basically told I was a liar I am now £99 out of pocket the smell was that strong I had to discard the flowers as I have a baby and it wasn't healthy. I am still waiting to speak to a manager which I have not been contacted by. Very upset with the service as this is where I always come to place orders for flowers. I have ordered from this website alot and have never had an issue before. I am very upset

Ordered flowers for my Mum’s birthday. Got to 5:30PM on the day they were due to be delivered, however they still hadn’t arrived. Asked on the webchat what the delay was to be told there would be no deliveries that day due to the Easter bank holiday weekend (it was the Saturday so not a holiday day). So why did they allow me to order the flowers in the first place, and why wasn’t I informed of the issue with delivery by Floom? I had to ask what was happening myself, and if I hadn’t asked I don’t think they would have told me anything. They offered me a full refund however it was very shocking service and incredibly frustrating. My mother was left with no birthday gift. Will never order from Floom again.

Promotes delivery by Easter Sat and emails end of day they can’t deliver. Don’t promote that you can when you can’t, especially when there are other providers who will stay true to their delivery promise. My mum is all alone and missed out at Easter. So disappointing.

Terrible customer support. My order was not delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered, representatives Liza and Valentina could not give me a clear response about what is going on with my order and why it is been late. Representative Liza did not even wait until my answer and ended the chat before I even responded. I am very disappointed in the support I received, the representatives are very unprofessional and I think the only thing they know is how to apologize. In addition to that I am also disappointed at the order that was finally delivered - the flowers on the picture and in real life are two different types, i ordered roses and lisianthus, they delivered me 1 rose and the rest was cloves with lily, in addition it was delivered the next day. I am not going to pay a dollar for this and disputing my money through the bank.

The flowers I ordered were supposed to be delivered on April 2nd but a delivery wasn’t even attempted until April 3rd. Then, the flowers weren’t actually delivered on the 3rd, but I got an email saying that they had been (and the email states they were delivered on the 2nd as had been promised). These are deceiving emails, since I wouldn’t have known that the flowers weren’t delivered had I not asked the friend I’d sent them to. Floom has now taken my $75 and provided no product, which is unacceptable.

We have received 12 white roses....half of which are dead /brown/rotting Sent from our daughter who lives abroad FLOOM are giving us the run around One agent asked for photos which we immediately sent. He said the florist was dismayed and would re-send fresh ones. We then received emails from another agent, Olivia who used the excuse of Data Protection by way of avoiding replacing them. Do not use this company. Their Customer Service is non existent. They have taken money from our daughter and supplied damaged rotten flowers.

Hi Deborah Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry you were disappointed with the arrangement you received. GDPR rules (data protection) specify we can only discuss order issues with the person who placed the order, I'm sorry you felt this was an excuse but it's a legal requirement and I can see our customer support team subsequently worked with the sender to resolve this.

My mother never received the flowers. I paid a premium for same day delivery. I complained, but am still waiting to hear back what went wrong. I am entirely not happy and will be asking for a full refund. A rating of 1 star is way to good for this experience.

We always do out best in being in close contact with florists often to make sure that our customers are getting the best arrangements possible to match what they ordered but sometimes due to one reason or another, this isn't always possible. Do not order from this company. The flowers were dead on arrival and did not look like the picture. These flowers were for Mother's Day and I had to re-order from another website as I was so embarrassed. I complained to only be given 10% refund.

Hello there and thanks so much for your review! When you post a review you are given the choice to upload pictures and you opted not to upload the images you sent us of the bouquet that was delivered. You sent us these images and we identified guard petals on the flowers that are usually left on by florists to help protect the bouquets during transportation. As this wasn't communicated to you ahead of time we did indeed to a 10% refund as a gesture of goodwill. Were the guard petals removed? If you removed them and there was still issues we'd have loved for you to have gotten in touch so we could have made this perfect for you! But in our opinion based on the pictures provided by yourself, this was simply extra guard petals on the roses. Kind regards, Floom

I'm very, very disappointed. I used Floom a year ago to deliver some flowers which went fine. This time however my mother was very disappointed with the state of the flowers which were delivered. As well as the quality of the actual flowers. I won't be using Floom again, as it has spoilt Mother's Day.

We are so sorry that your mother's day flowers didn't arrive as perfectly as we'd have liked them to - but I should point out that we also apologised to you at the time and indeed offered and sent you a full refund for these flowers. We try our best to make things go perfectly every time but sadly that's not possible. We do not pick the stems and bouquets ourselves but rely on our partner florists to help us. In light of this issue however, we think that owning up to our mistake and sending you a full refund was the best course of action so that's what we did. Kind regards, Floom

Ordered flowers for same day delivery. They never arrived. Still charge £51.99 for the same day delivery. Absolutely devastated. No update on refund. I’m not sure it’s wise to offer same day if that’s not going to be possible.

We try our best to liaise with partner florists effectively so every same-day and next-day order is carried out punctually but regrettably that isn't always possible. Worst flower delivery experience. Flowers arrived a day late, and when I followed up to ask why/if they were truly late, customer service said I needed to “prove” they were late (floom had emailed me: check your own system?). When I told them that because they were a day late, and the person they were sent to left out of town for a few days the flowers would be dead upon their arrival, floom customer service was unapologetic, said it was a “technical” error, that I should have my friend send a photo of the dead flowers when he returns home, and they would refund me the $14.99 delivery fee. Over $100 for my friend to receive dead flowers…
