Nothing wrong with the meat absolutely fine. But oh dear! I was contacted to say they didn't have the chicken pieces for the meat box. That was understandable and I wasn't bothered I just said I would be happy with a substitution of their choice simple NO! Lots of delay and to and fro ending up with them sending a message saying "it will be with your son" amazing I don't have a son!. Got it sometime later with the chicken pieces. Fine but could do without the haressment.

Bought a 3 Bird joint for Christmas, all good but I just felt a little 'ripped off' when I was charged an extra £10 for the delivery of it in Christmas week. I don't see that there would be any further cost to Farmisons.

Good meat albeit with short shelf life dates despite vacuum packing, and quite poor customer service. No information given about estimated delivery times, no updates from courier, nothing other than a confirmation of order email.

Given this was our first time ordering from Farmison, I must admit I was quite disappointed by the missing items and also problems encountered with delivery. As it was Christmas it caused us quite a bit of inconvenience as I had to spend time dealing with it. That said, the produce was good and we will most likely give them another chance so hopefully the next order we make will not be problematic.

We live in a remote part and do appreciate it is more difficult to get to us. We paid a premium however. The pastry in the Beef Wellington detached itself from the meat on taking out of the packaging, so had to be reassembled. The ham was a bit disappointing as it was still salty even after soaking. The Turkey was delicious however! Good to end on a positive!

Christmas order never arrived due to problems with DPD delivery.....eventually had a refund which was handled very well by Farmison. Delivery went from Farmison to Hinckley ( passing our property) sat there for 2 days waiting to go to Morley ( passing our property ) Refund requested and promptly actioned. Caused problems with Christmas food. I would probably not risk using Farmison again when purchase is foe special occasions. I do appreciate that once with Dpd it beyond Farmisons control. Galette of Turkey was disappointing. Felt like it had been prepared early and preserved. It had an institutional quality rather than fresh. It was a shame, because last year's rib of beef was excellent,

Excellent quality product and delivered in a pefect way to keep meat cool until final destination. My only feedbavk for improvement is to check some of the cuts before posting, as one of the lamb racks was way to small and barely any meat. A bit pricy as well but overall good experience and with a lot of potential.

Only 3 stars as unfortunately our turkey did not arrive on the specified day. Had I not contacted Farmison on the day before it was due to arrive to check it was on its way, I would have been without a turkey for Xmas day. To be fair once I pointed out the error a redelivery was immediately arranged and arrived on Xmas eve. The turkey was delicious and lived up to expectations. Just a shame that our first delivery from Farmison went wrong.

Honestly, it was okay. Not great, I’m not sure I’d purchase again, but it wasn’t bad. I had a 3kg forerib for about £100, the meat was a bit less dark than I’m used to, and the marbling wasn’t much to talk about. On the other hand, there was a decent bit of fat on the top, and it tasted nice enough. This is a hard review to write because there wasn’t anything “wrong” with it, but there’s nothing about it that stood out, at all.

Turkey breast pleasant but nothing special re flavour-half Ripon smoked horse shoegammon joint very disappointing--an ugly piece of meat when cooked -difficult to slice neatly and rather tough--and I have been cooking gammon for 40 odd Christmas meals!Sausages and pigs in blankets delicious--would order these again.Haven't tried beef joint yet--friend for whom I ordered chicken legs well pleased with quality and taste! Delivery and packaging very efficient.

We were so looking forward to it. Unfortunately we are not sure the cooking instructions are correct as turkey was dry so recommend weighing. The turkey could have fed 6 to 8 people easily but all the extras were only for 4. Sorry to leave bad review but it didn't live up to expectations

Service was very good and food arrived in perfect condition and on time. We ordered a three bird roast. The cooking instructions were clear and resulted in a perfectly cooked roast using a meat thermometer as suggested. The only trouble was the some of the meat was a bit ‘gristly’, perhaps not the right term but not possible to bite through and a bit unpleasant in the mouth. This is the reason for three stars. In short, company seems fine and reliable, maybe we just had a bit of bad luck with the roast.

I paid £115 for a turkey product only to see the price subsequently drop to £92 (I assume due to excess stock). Hard not feel ripped off.

Unfortunately I was underwhelmed by the beef joint I purchased! It was delivered as promised and well packaged and looked good quality! I stored and cooked it, following the instructions provided. However, I found the meat was not as tender and flavoursome as expected and there was a lot of fat! And the meat had a rather strange, slightly unpleasant taint to the flavour! It was disappointing, given that I served it on Christmas day! Fortunately all the 'trimmings' turned out well!

I bought a porchetta and a ham . As a piece of pork, the porchetta was very good. It was tender and produced excellent crackling. As a porchetta, however, I found it disappointing. There was only an occasional small hint of fennel and I could not detect anything more. The ham was good
