Last night had to call breakdown service. Spoke to Dominic there. It took just over an hour from the time I called to the recovery service coming & getting me & my car home. Thank u to both Dominic & Ray the recovery man for making it a less stressful time for me Jayne

Although you can obtain a quote online, you cannot complete and pay online which is annoying, but when I got through to the company, the process was very quick and documentation sent immediately.

The company offers good customer service with cheap comprehensive breakdown policies, The only issue which stops a five star rating is the 1.5 hour response time compared to other breakdown companies which have 45 min to 1 hour response time.

As my renewal car insurance did not have a breakdown cover this year, I was looking for a cheap breakdown cover. It was simply by a chance that I came across 2gether breakdown cover. The great thing about 2gether is that they do 'pay as you claim' policy! I had never come across this type of policy befor, and over the past 25 years or so I've been coughing out £30 -£50 for the road assisstance service recovery policies with all the other major breakdown service providers. Receiving a quote took only few seconds. However, as I did not needed the cover immediately, I waited a few weeks before taking out the cover. AT the time of taking out the cover, I was unable to login to my account and so I send an email to 2gether. But I did not hear from them either by email or a phone! Eventually, I managed to login to my account and took out the cover. All the cover documents available in my account within a few seconds, which I downloaded to my harddrive for glance over and for future reference. As I have only taken out the cover recently and not needed to call out the rescue service, I'm unable to comment on their customer service and their rescue service. But so far I'm happy!

I gave a poor as I was trying to cover my van for breakdown cover. I had previous experience with another company covering me and then later saying my van was too long so it wasn't covered. So I told the assistant that my van was 5.3 m long and asked if I was still covered. She assured me I was and it did not matter what length and width it was. When I got the documents I readall the smal print and guess what. My van was not covered it was too long! I rang up and they said that I coul have my money back as it had only just ben issued (rather than a mistake had been made). However, the 2 assistants I spoke to were really nice and polite particularly the first one.

Took over two hours to arrive which was excessive. Nice recovery driver and very helpful. Rather than using one major breakdown service in the region it would benefit from using more local garages to speed up waiting times. But that is my only concern. Had I been in a different location other than Cornwall it might be a different.

I (obviously) haven't used the service yet so can't comment - but the website was easy and reasonably clear, the costs were competitive, and the 50% discount was the final trigger! I also like the fact that all relevant documents are available as pdfs before you buy, and are also emailed to you instantly upon purchase. I just hope the service is as good!

I wanted cover which gave me roadside assistance, plus also onward-travel cover for car and occupants if roadside repair is not possible. 2Gether cover was a really good price for that. They also promptly answered the phone when I had a query.

Owning an older car which we don't do many miles in, it's a refreshing change to be able to choose less cover for less cost. We only use this car for shopping and local trips so the Economy cover as it's all we need. When it comes time to cover our main car we'll defiantly get a quote from 2gether, in fact we already have but it's not due until September. I think it's very good value for the same cover as more expensive places, so we'll keep using 2gether and have already told many friends about it. My brother-in-law has just got his cover from them too, so the word is spreading!

My breakdown insurance hasn't even started yet, so can't comment on how good that is. But after using a comparison website, then going to 2 Together website for 2 quotes, was emailed back after a few days with a 50% off code, so promptly took them up on the offer.

Very friendly, very helpful. A few admin errors were made on the documents - the gave my husband the wrong gender and surname - but were very quick in putting it right. I lost some of my documents in the dowbloading process and they were very happy and quick to resend.
