“When I contacted DCTUK for information I found the staff very helpful. I was informed my delivery would be a few days. I was notified that my order had been dispatched The delivery was prompt, and the driver was courteous.”

“Really bad customer service ! We ordered 450 carpet tiles for one of our offices located an hour away from our main office. 1st delivery: On the day of the delivery we sent one of our employee to the office to wait for the driver. Few minutes before the expected delivery, our employee received a phone call asking if she could carry the carpet tiles from the lorry to the building as it was too heavy for the driver. She explained that it was impossible as she wasn't strong enough. The delivery company said they were going to call back, they didn't. We had to call them in the evening to ask when would be the next delivery. 2nd delivery: we have called the delivery company to explain that we were going to leave the keys with one of our tenant instead of sending one of our employee there all day. They accepted and took notes. Then, We have been contacted in the afternoon by DCT to let us know that the driver couldn't deliver as no one was at the property. We spoke with someone called Ross Smith (DCT) to explain the issue. Ross told us that we should have called the driving company to inform them about the keys (which we did) and that we would have to pay a re-delivery charge. After speaking with my director, Ross Smith agreed to re-schedule a new delivery without the fee. The sale team told us this wasn't possible and we would only get a discount on our next purchase ! After paying this cost, we have been told that we will receive a call to know when would be the new delivery date. No one called us back, I had to email Mr Smith to have some news. Mr Smith wasn't keen to help us resolve the issue. At 5pm we have finally been told that the new delivery would be the next day. We have had to find someone in emergency to be there the next morning to get the tiles. 3rd delivery: We had to pay someone to be at the office all day to wait for the driver and carry the tiles inside. The whole process has been really difficult and time/money wasting. This is unfortunate because we were happy with the quality of your product.”

“1. Quick supply of samples. 2. When we had finally made up our minds ordering was straightforward - apart from a glitch on the web site, which was quickly sorted with a phone call. 3. Despite being a small order it was handled with the same courtesy and efficiency that I would have expected for a far bigger order. 4. Delivery was exactly as promised. 5. The price was right!”

“Ordered 31 carpet tiles same make, colour. Arrived on time 2 separate deliveries. 2nd box of 11 did not match 1st box of 20. Called in. Explaination was the 11 were samples different batch. Only solution offered was to pay additional £38 or so for a full box of 20 tiles. Keep the 11. Free delivery. Rather poor service. I ordered 31 tiles of same make and colour. If i was aware this presented a risk of mismatch i would have ordered 2 boxes. As rug over carpet i used 6 of the 11 under it as not visible. Not prepared to delay job by a week and pay more. I feel i deserve compensation i.e. all or part of cost of 11 mismatched tiles as no good to anyone. Mr Truckle 0790 241 2975”

Hi Mavis, I’m sorry for what has happened, our Burmatex tiles are dispatched from the manufacture and not our warehouse, so we can only apologies that they sent them on two different deliveries, but sadly that was out of our control. Normally you can only order Burmatex tiles in boxes of 20, our team did its best to accommodate the 31 tiles you needed by order 11 samples, which 99% of the time match the batch and unfortunately this time they did not. Our team has tried their best to help fix this problem, and we can only appologised that this has happened. Kind Regards, Rachel.

“Difficult to write a review as all I have received is confirmation of my order and confirmation that payment has been taken. As far as I am concerned I have completed my part of the transaction you on the other hand have only confirmed my order, if you want "pats" on the back for a job well done then ask when the goods have been delivered in an acceptable time frame; but so far so good.”

“My 3rd order now with DCTUK , one business office and 2 home rooms. Quality, durability and value for money is excellent on their budget ranges with good choice of colours. Good online communication with their customer support staff and very quick delivery. Ordered today and they have already given me an estimated delivery tomorrow ! Just got to tear the old carpet up now and take it down the tip.”
