Shocking service terrible delivery couldn’t even get my order right. My delivery was ment to be delivered on the 28th of March but apparently the order was missed By the driver Ross got it sent out again for the 3rd of April which I received but not the whole order the adhesive I ordered was was never put through on my order which I don’t understand when I had the invoice in my inbox I showed the driver and it was completely different from the invoice I had. Ross had said he was going to refund the £45 for delivery and the the cost of the adhesive as I needed it that day so because of the shear lack of communication I almost ended losing that job. So unfortunately now I’ve found out who you actually buy the flooring off as I never would have gone through a 3rd party to by the floor tiles and would not be using DCTUK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lee, apologies that you order was delayed. Unfortunately it was a mixture of our supplier missing your order (that we had sent to them) and also bad timing, as our supplier who makes the product closed over Easter weekend, and you ordered just before Easter weekend. So usually we would have made sure our supplier sent out the order the next working day, but due to Easter, it was resent after Easter which obviously meant you were delayed much longer than usual. It was actually only 1 working day, but in reality was 5-6 days. We totally understand your frustration and we can assure you that isn't our usual level of service. DCT were unable to fulfil the order I placed online, I had conflicting messages from Ross, I lost confidence in the muddled process, cancelled and was refunded, business went elsewhere

SAMPLES ARRIVED QUICKLY BUT THE PACKAGING USED FOR THE TILES WE ORDERED WAS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. THE CARD WAS THIN AND FRAGILE WITH NO REINFORCEMENT AT THE MOST VULNERABLE POINT - THE CORNERS. THE STRAPS USED TO HOLD BOXES TOGETHER ALSO CUT THROUGH THE THIN CARD BOXES LEAVING AN IMPRINT ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM TILES. £300 WORTH OF TILES SENT IN BOXES NOT MUCH BETTER THAN TWO LAYERS OF NEWSPAPER.

Poor customer service received carpet on rainy day 3 boxes soaking wet dctuk claim no problem carpet being wet will dry I explained to them I didn’t pay for wet carpet they asked me to count how many tiles are wet so I give up on the end small minded company don’t know how to treat customers I will never buy from them again

I urgently needed just four carpet tiles in "storm blue" to finish a job I had already started. Buying these tiles from yourselves was a big mistake for me I was forced to accept what was a very high charge for 4 tiles, in order to obtain the fastest possible delivery, yet on arrival they were a day late, arrived in an unmarked box (no colour reference) and not a colour match to my earlier storm blue tiles. As I was out of time and unable to spend any more time on this job, I had to reluctantly fit mismatched tiles which look terrible. Never fall for that again. SW

Hello, We're sorry that you weren't happy with our service, but we do think it is important to point out, for other customers reading your review, that you paid £14 delivery and we did deliver next working day as promised. (You ordered late Thursday evening, we processed the order Friday, and we delivered on Monday). We can't find a previous order for you, only for four tiles, so you may have ordered these from elsewhere and that is the reason why they do not match. We do ask customers to contact us if they have problems before leaving a negative review because we will always try and rectify the issue if we can. We are available via Livechat, email or phone call if you need any further help. Our aim is to help and put a smile on your face.

Site has out of stock/discontinued products without any warning. So they will let you order and pay knowing they cannot supply.

Hi Graham, apologies that the product you wanted was no longer available. It's a live stock system so the 6,000 products on the website can go in and out of stock at any moment and it is impossible to get live updates with all the different suppliers we are connected to. Secondly, our suppliers are not the best at keeping us updated when products are discontinued, so we only find out when our team call them up for an stock enquiry. In this case, we were able to advise you BEFORE you ordered/paid that the stock was not available and that is why our team are available, to help you in such situations. To clarify, we did not take payment from you or place your order once we were informed the product was no longer available. Sorry that this time we couldn't provide what you needed, but we have many other carpet tiles that can be provided that are similar and we are happy to supply those instead. Sent me an email add. These companies should be fined for harassment. They dont have unsubscribe or email address in plain sight I wouldn't want to buy there flooring if they are so desperate they buy emails

Tiles arrived after weeks of delay. VERY poorly packaged with only tie wraps and flimsy cardboard - most tile edges damaged. Contacted DCTUK immediately with photographs of the tiles/packaging. Agreed to lay tiles as best I could with damaged edges either cut or against walls. 6 tiles were not able to be lain so contacted the company for replacements, still waiting.

On the website was written that this company accept the returns. And when I received the order I was not happy and I wanted to return, so I text them on email kindly asking if I’m available to return back. They answered rude in my message with answers no, without any good explanation. Definitely not recommending this company. It’s expensive, bad customer services.

Hi Egle sorry you are unhappy with our service. I have checked the correspondence and nothing rude was sent to you, just an email explaining that we cannot accept returns for goods that have been cut to a bespoke size, as was the case for your order of entrance matting. This is clearly written in our terms and conditions. The reason is that it is very unlikely we would get another order for the same small size that you requested. Please be aware that we are one of the few online flooring retailers that do allow you to specify an exact size (instead of a full roll) - which costs a lot more. Had to pay a 30% restocking fee for tiles we incorrectly ordered and cancelled before delivery. We will definitely not use this company again or refer them, especially after finding the same floor tiles 30% cheaper with another supplier. A very expensive mistake on our part.

Hi Simon, we're always sorry to receive a negative review however we make no money with the restocking charge. It is a charge that is passed to us from the manufacturer for collecting and restocking the products back into their factory. We do have this clearly in our terms and conditions for businesses. And we would always recommend requesting free samples before placing an order so that you don't end up changing your mind on receipt of the order. Regards, Jon

Poor service. My order was the wrong size, it was delivered by one of the well known couriers without any protection and just rolled up with sticky tape. Given that it was less than 2msq that just isn’t good enough. The worst bit of all, I contacted customer services immediately about the wrong size and I have never had a reply. Don’t waste your time or money. Their delivery charges are massive too.

Hi, we're sorry that you feel your experience has not been great. I have checked with our team and we have had no contact from you that anything was wrong. So please contact us first if you experience an issue and we will always resolve it straight away. We can confirm however that you ordered 1m2 of Nouveau entrance matting and you had 1m2 delivered, so there was no shortage. Some people do get confused however that because this is a 2m wide roll, to get 1m2 we would deliver to you 2m x 0.5 m. So perhaps you thought you were getting 1m linear length? If so contact us and we can arrange for an additional order to be sent and we will waive the shipping fee. Thanks Jon

Hi Susan, sorry that the delivery wasn't up to scratch. We use the best delivery network in the UK based on reviews (DPD) but even then - that part of our process is sometimes out of our control. I think you maybe should mention in your review that we did refund your delivery fee once you contacted us and we offered to send out replacement tiles free of charge if any were damaged. We hope you give us another try in the future. Thanks Jon
