We are (please God) going on a Fjords cruise with Royal Caribbean next week. Had a couple of minor things to "iron out" and called Cruise 118 today. Spoke to a lady called Jenny who was absolutely wonderful! She had it all. I was so lucky to come across Jenny. Thank you.

When it comes to cancelling a cruise, they are very slow at doing this, and returning money due. i cancelled and was told a 3 day turn around, given it was a Friday that meant it would be 5 days, then i am told 7 days and it is done in date order, no you are just holding on to my money as long as possible, it is now 6 days and i am still waiting.

I can assure you that we are always looking for ways to assist our guests with their queries and action a request as quickly as possible, I can see that initially we did advise you 3 days however did not advise that the time frame did not include the weekends, rest assured this will be fed back to the team to make sure we give a clear turnaround timescale going forward. Having checked your booking I can see that you called us on the 01st of June and made a request to cancel your booking. We have a dedicated admin team that assist with cancellations. Whilst we work in date of departure order, we will aim to assist our guests as soon as possible and within 3-5 workings days’ time frame. I can see that your booking was cancelled within 5 working days. Our Service manager also emailed you to advise you would receive your refund within 5 workings days. On this occasion I'm only giving it a 3* .... We booked 2 rooms for our cruise, 11th May on MSC Virtuosa for the sole purpose of visiting elderly relatives in Lerwick, Shetland Isles. My 2 sons took time off work. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived in our room on the ship to find a note on the desk saying we were not sailing to Lerwick but sailing to Zebruges instead due to weather, no other details. Surely the shipping company get a long range weather forecast before embarkation of passengers on the day. If that being the case and given us notice before travelling to Southampton, we could have cancelled and booked for the following week on the same ship and itinerary. Secondly, we were told that we were being offered the best cabins in our range 14026 and 14028. Our first night was horrific as it sounded like a train station was up above our 2 rooms all night. I went down to reception at 4am and 9am to ask for a change of our 2 rooms which after a lot of consultation we were given. This may not come down to Cruise 118 but they must get notice of any changes in the itinerary and should pass it on to their customers. Other than that the booking process was spot on and we have had 5* ratings with cruise 118 advisers in past bookings.

Thank you for your recent review, rest assured your comments are very important to us, we are very sorry that aspects of your recent sailing with MSC have given cause for dissatisfaction, and we appreciate you taking the time to write your review. It is unfortunate that you experienced an itinerary change which meant a missed port stop at Lerwick, we do recognise the disappointment this caused particularly when you had plans to meet family. Cruise lines can and do need to make changes both prior to and during a sailing, sometimes with very little notice particularly if it is weather related, having checked your booking I can see that Cruise118 was not notified prior to travel on this occasion of any such changes. I am sorry to hear that you experienced noise issues with the two cabins you had allocated, and it is good to hear that MSC were able to resolve this issue for you swiftly whilst you were onboard. Myself and my wife enquired about a balcony room upgrade. We were advised and dealt with Andrew of cruise 118. Andrew was extremely professional and helpful and returned phone calls with that information and more. This is the second time that we have used cruise 118 this year and will go back to them for future cruises. I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.

Robyn was brilliant, helping me book my cruise for a big birthday in 2026. Having tried to book this with a promotion from the cruise company only to find they had withdrawn the cruise Robyn kept tabs on things so when it became available was able to secure it for us quickly and at a really good price. Customer service excellent and we have used Cruise 118 a few times cannot fault them.

We have recently returned from our first ever cruise, which was arranged by Sian Halliwell at Cruise 118. Sian is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Her knowledge and advice enabled us to make the right decisions about the type of stateroom and packages that would suit us best and ensured that we had an amazing experience. I’m happy to say that she is now looking after our next cruise. Thank you Sian your customer service is amazing.
