You charged for next day delivery and it took two days. No refund offered. White trainers arrived dirty too.

Thank you for your review. Our Next day delivery has a cut off point of 5pm, this is stated in or terms and contitions and in our delivery information. We use DPD and also Royal Mail for our deliveries and their last collection from us is at 5.45 as we close at 6pm. Your order was placed after this time and was sent out on the next day so it was sent out correctly. Your trainers should not have arrived dirty, if you would like to call us on 0345 241 7742 quoting your order number, we can arrange for a return of the shoes, so long as unworn. So disappointed, ordered bag, had to return as it was faulty (clasp wouldn't work). Could not be replaced as it was in Sale! Manufactures fault. Felt that Charles Clinkard should have replaced for Goodwill! Lady dealing with me charming. Charles Clinkard down in my estimation ☹️ Julia Cole

Hello Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear the condition of the clasp of the bag was in when purchased, unfortunately due to the item being in the sale/limited stock, we couldn’t source the stock to replace the bag for you in the same colour. Unfortunately, the colour you requested for an exchange was not in the sale and had a significant price difference, to the original purchase. Beware Refund Proces: Ordered online. Returned to my local shop. Got return receipt. 3 weeks later no refund. Called shop. They apologised for “internal error” but said it happens often. They paid the next day. If I hadn’t called the shop I think I’d have missed out on my return. Feels like sharp practice to me. The roll has generated a return receipt. The credit repayment should be immediate and should be reconciled.

Very disappointed with the first delivery of some blue espadrilles. They were totally different shades of blue so I had to wait for a returns label to be posted off to me, as I have no printer at the moment, and am now waiting for a replacement pair. The difference in colour was immediately obvious to me so I fail to understand why they were sent out. I also ordered a stone coloured pair and they have arrived and are fine. I hope the blue pair arrive soon.

Thank you for your review. Your order was placed on 9th February and sent out via Royal Mail on 12th February from the UK. This has now passed through customs and the tracking reads Monday 27 February 2023 06:38 Item has left the overseas International Processing Centre HONG KONG CENTRAL MAIL CENTRE, Hong Kong I have sent your tracking number via a seperate email so you can follow the progress on Hong Kong post. Apparently my order, which I made 19 days ago, arrived some time ago and I was never contacted. I did, however, receive two emails about customer feedback for my purchase. So, that is what I'm doing here. I'm disappointed in the customer service of Charles Clinkard and at this point I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know.

Very dissapointed to have received two seperate orders for the same trainers which were both faulty. Then to receive a telephone call today telling me they have refunded me for three pairs instead of two and asking for me to pay them back £95 which they did not refund.Terrible customer service terrible quality of shoes.

Hello Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear the experience you have received. Unfortunately, it was explained to us by the accounts team that we have refunded you more that the value of the order, this was presumed that a double refund had been issued on one of the returns. When in fact we had price matched the product for you and refunded you the £20 difference compared to the sale price, then when you returned your trainers the £20 from the price match was also refund in error. The shoes we purchased were for a 4 year old BOY. It is obvious that the WOKE and LBGTQ culture in this country is supported by Charles Clinkard and their products. Supplying BOYS shoes with sparkly insets and sparkly laces is an affront to their childhood and only reinforces the stupidity that is happening in this country. Sensible people should boycott these companies.

Item took 9days to arrive with conflicting tracking details from royal mail and mixed explanations from customer service, item itself was eventually delivered in good condition, unfortunately will not be shopping at Clinkards again unless they change their carrier.

We also use DPD as a courier and customers can call/email us if they have a preferred courier between Royal Mail and DPD to deliver the order with. You can return your order to any of our stores for free. You can purchase a collect plus label from our website for £4.50 or you can also use Royal Mail, second class tracked service is a very popular option and this can start from as little as £3.30. Firstly my order consisted of a bag which was incorrectly priced plus had a glue mark on it. More worrying was being sent completely the wrong pair of shoes in a correctly relabelled box. Contacted Charles Clinkard who promptly altered incorrect pricing and issued free return authorisation. Only for the bag to arrrive on its own with no shoes, so another phone call. Shoes duly arrived a few days later and were incorrect style again as before. The company is now searching for the correct shoes but I am not holding my breath. Very poor experience adding to the stress of preparing for our son's wedding.

Felt that boots I sent for had previously been worn and packaging was not new. In addition, one of the studs holding the laces popped off when I tried on the boots - straight out of the box.

My son was measured for his shoes on wearing them for 1 day he has blisters on both feet and now refuses to wear them

Thank you for your review. We do offer up to 365 days to return shoes that are unworn outside. This should alow you to try shoes on at home and wear them in. Sometimes when you get new shoes, they can rub and it is always best to have worn them for a time at home first. If you feel that the shoes have been incorrectly fitted, you can go back into store with your son and ask them to take a look. I hope that this information is of help. Cost me 12 GBP to return shoes that were too small. Returns should be free! I will not be shopping with Charles Clinkard again.

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge, but ask customers to cover the cost of returns. You can choose a premium next day signed for delivery as you seem to have done here, or you can choose a second class service for around £3.00 which may take a day longer and will still be processed within 3 days once it arrives. You can also find a link on our website for £4.49 with CollectPlus which covers up to 10 kilo, or choose any courier of your own choice. Alterntively you can take back to a Charles Clinkard store where they will process the refund for you. This may help for future reference. Kind regards, Janice - customer services
