Can’t really comment on the shoes as they never arrived. DPD didn’t deliver, just sent me an email to say they’d left the parcel at the Post Office in the next town. I contacted Charles Clinkard to let them know and to explain that I can’t drive at the moment but have heard nothing from the company to date. No refund to my bank account so far and no apology from them. Very disappointed at such poor service.

Shooed fro wide fitting, not a wide fit, very inflexible, didn’t even try to wear these. So disappointed as they were wrongly delivered, had to wait, then awful. Now having to pay to return them. They were full price too.

Thank you for your review. Looking at the tracking, DPD did try to deliver but there was nobody home so your order was taken to a DPD pick-up shop. As they were not collected, these were returned to sender. We then as discussed with you, re-sent the order out using Royal Mail and the item this time was successfully delivered. We are sorry to hear that now you have the shoes, that you have found them to be too wide. You can take them to a Charles Clinkard store if you are in the area and have up to one year to do so, so long as unworn. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

I am very disappointed in my purchase as I have bought Reiker footwear before I know that these are not a genuine brand there is no point me going into the faults with them just to say buyer beware.

I was very disappointed with your attitude to postage . I had to pay postage for delivery & return of my shoes . When I complained I did receive the money for the delivery postage but not the return .

Thank you for your review. We do offer free delivery for orders over £40 and if an item is returned within 2 weeks, we would also refund the standard delivery charge. You did opt for express delivery but as goodwill, we have refunded this for you. About return postage, we do ask the customer to cover this or take unwanted items to a Charles Clinkard store. Thank you for your review. Your order left the UK on 30th June and arrived in Kuwait on 7th July. It does have to go through customs and be passed to the Kuwait Postal service for delivery. Your order should be with you soon. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

Initially attracted to buy online by the free postage. Despite being a standard size Eu 42 found the shoes to well oversize. These were therefore returned but at my own expense. Won't be buying here online again. Cannot reccomend.

Thank you for your review, We do offer free postage for delivery, however, we also ask that the customer covers the cost of the return if they need to post. We do have a service online where you can buy a label for just £4.49 and covers up to 10 kilos, or you can send back using your chosen service with any courier, a lower-cost second-class service is fine and we process refunds within 2 working days of them arriving usually. You can also take items back to any Charles Clinkard store, you have up to 365 days to do this. You do have 2 stores very close to you where they would have arranged the refund for you. The service I received at the Meadowhall store wasn’t like I would expect , sempt to be a atmosphere among colleagues on 2 out of the 3 occasions I visited. .On the 29th of July I received a call from the store about my order, missed the call so I rang back, said who I was and asked if the shoes had arrived , in a abrupt voice “kids or woman’s” , every thing sempt to be a issue. I previously visited the store approximately 6 weeks ago to have my grandsons feet measured and was greeted by a lovely lady with long dark hair( it was a Friday) and unfortunately I was expecting the same service on my last 3 occasions but I didn’t . Won’t be in a rush to go back .

Until today I was happy to shop with you, now I’m not so sure. I ordered an item on 23rd June, the system said it was despatched on 24th. I called into Northallerton on Tuesday 28, not arrived and I would get a phone call when they did. I went in today, they have arrived, no phone call and I was told I had received an email on Thursday 30th. This was all done in a rude manner. I should look in junk I’d obviously missed it. Please send me a copy of the email sent as I do not have it. The lady said she spoke to a man who said it was sent. It was not sent and I did not get a phone call. Why did it take so long for the shoes to arrive

Your order did indeed get processed on the 24th of June, this created a generic dispatch note which I can see was sent to you through your order. We are sorry if you have not received it. They do sometimes go into junk mail so we do let people know to have a look in there just in case. As the shoes were sent over the weekend, this may be why they took several days to reach the shop. At this point, they should have called you and let you know that the order was there. Bought sandals, July 2021. Already broke. The thong between toes has come apart. Spoke to Customer Service who informed me that their return policy of 365 days, was only for shoes that were unworn. Ridiculous! Only wore them for 3 months as they are summer sandals. Returns policy is not a guarantee. Won’t make that mistake again.

Lovely shoes but too narrow so I returned them. I received an email on 30/3/31 informing me that you have received my return . Unfortunately I have not yet received my refund as promised ( within 4working days ) You are sitting on my money ! Please refund me asap Thankyou. Judith Clarke

Shoes were very poor quality, torn the first week of light wear. Already sent a review with photo showing torn leather in toe area. The review wasn't published, but all the five star reviews were. Shameful

Sandals were sent to wrong address, 10 years out of date. Make sure you double check details on order confirmation as there is no way to rectify situation if new inhabitants decide to sign for a parcel they did not order. Have changed my details on their website but they are still sending emails addressed to a surname I changed in 2016. Not the greatest at tech!

Very disappointed with my latest purchase of Rieker sandals through Charles Clinkard. They arrived grubby with hair stuck on the Velcro fasteners ! After speaking to customer services I was offered just 10% refund. Michael at customer services said no more in stock in my size ! However on checking their website they are still available !
