Disappointing performance. Website showed item was in stock when I purchased but a week later I received message that the item was as out of stock. This was for a birthday present!

I am very pleased with my purchase of black suede ankle boots. I am always put off from ordering from your company due to the fact that you do not offer free postal returns. I do not live near a store so I have option but to pay for a return.

Order was free delivery but I had to pay to return the slippers I had ordered as they did not fit. I have purchased this style of slipper albeit under a different brand name for many years, in pewte leatherr, navy suede and white leather. These seemed wider and my toe would not fit right to the end of the slipper so my heel hung over the back.

Was given a code for 10% off then when i applied it , it wouldn't let me have it , so i wasn't very pleased about it. Over the years ive had about 11 pairs of boots from this company, so theres no encoragement to keep buying from you.

The lady in your Darlington store Steph was very helpful . Unfortunately there was a problem with the shoes when first delivered they were different sizes . I notified you on the date they were delivered 16 September and didn’t get a response. So took the shoes back and the shop assistant sorted it out for me. Shop good head office not up to scratch. I love the shoes but they took a lot of getting .Thank you

I was hopeful about getting a good quality ankle boot in blue leather. The boots were beautiful but the sizing is a problem. Width was a C I believe which is narrow I am a wide D and have a bunion on one foot not huge but it’s making it difficult to find pretty footwear I’m very fed up with the situation Refund happened fairly quickly

No problem with the store but the sandals were faulty in that the central strap was too long and didn’t lie flat across the foot.

Lovely shoes. Negative was they took longer to despatch/deliver than anticipated, the box was not in the best condition (lid was broken and had evidence of several stickers that had been applied to it) and the satin bag that is usually provided with Peter Kaiser shoes was not included.

As your address is in the Channel Islands, this may account for the longer than anticipated delivery but I apologise for any inconvenience caused. This is my first order with this Company, and I'm not impressed. Delivery was on time, but when opened bag it came in, Skechers box damaged, which is not acceptable. Once damaged box opened, I couldn't believe that all the tags, which should of been on the boots, we're lying on bottom of box. This is clearly someone else's return.

The Chichester store has a wonderful opportunity to dominate the children’s department for school shoes. Because they stock start right geox etc. unfortunately, I have to go much further afield, as the stock levels are always very poor in this department. The emphasis is adults in this branch. Missing a trick. Only Clark’s and clinkard have kids departments in the area. So travel to Southampton or Brighton.

I had no complaints at the quality of the product and delivery was prompt but have returned the boots as I searched for grey ankle boots. These came up on that search and the colour was described as 'pepper' which to me is grey (ie salt and pepper hair - grey!) especially as I searched grey! They were definitely not grey, they were taupe so am only disgruntled that I ended up having to pay over £4 to return an item I thought would fit the description and requirement

My order of Nike trainers took a week to arrive in store. On collection, the outer bag was torn and not sealed correctly and the Nike box was damaged enough to see and feel inside the box. Luckily, the trainers were not marked or damaged. Poor really considering how this company prides itself on quality and service.

The choice of shoes from Charles Clinkard was great, and the ones I ordered were delivered promptly and in good condition. The problem arose with returns. When you look at how to return online returns, there's a link to click to find stores where they can be returned in-store. However, there is very small small print underneath many of those stores saying that they do not take returns for shoes bought online. That needs to be much bigger, or there needs to be a different section for stores that only take returns for items purchased at that branch, and stores that take returns from other branches or from online. I ended up having to return by post, at significant expense. I would not have bought the shoes online if I had realized.

Only items purchased in concessions can be returned to them but online orders can be taken to any of our branches. This is outlined under each shop on the website list but I can pass on your comments regarding the font not being clear enough. This is also highlighted on the Returns Page of our website where we also have a portal to create a Royal Mail label for £3.20. Delivery seemed to be a long process and unable to track on Royal Mail or other provider. Also did not receive any contact from store.
