“Good site, easy ordering & fast delivery , unfortunately the shoes were too narrow. Would have given 5* if returns had been free.”

“The boots and shoes are exquisite quality but unfortunately I have found both boots and shoes too narrow and in the case of ankle boots a shade too short for my feet/ankles”

“We were very pleased with the item purchased, with its packaging and with the delivery service. I was glad, however, that the item was perfect as I was slighly put off by the notice explaining that I would have had to pay for the return of any unsuitable item.”

“The ordering process went without a hitch. The only reason for 1 less star is that after the order confirmation mail there was a complete silence for 5 days (to be fair, it was mentioned that the delivery may take 3-5 days). Wonder if this could have been quicker.”

“I've always taken a size 6 1/2. I bought these boots in a 6 1/2 but they are too big and cause blisters on my heels when I walk in them. I've put insoles in and tightened the laces which has helped a bit but I'm really disappointed.”

“I have searched far and wide for a slip on style slipper/shoe. I originally ordered a size uk 6. It was too small and I returned them. I continued my search for another version of this footware. Nothing matched. I have since then ordered the same product in UK size 7. I love them. Ergonomically spot on.”

“Shopping easy on website, I selected click and collect, but didn't receive email advising arrived in store. Phoned customer service very helpful and advised shoes had arrived. Store assistant very good, tried on shoes decided not quite what I wanted. However ended up enquiring about a boot I'd seen ( not in the sale) on the website as couldn't see it in store, lady very helpful located boots and as luck would have it they were available in my size, purchased and delighted with them. However awaiting an email confirmation regarding the refund to my card. So may contact customer services again to check .”

“Pleased to find a desert boot style in leather, by Luna. I prefer lace-up styles, which is just as well as the addition of zips that don't work is saved by the laces. Aesthetically for me zips aren't neccessary, so when they don't work either, points to styles remaining, classic in their simplicity and unnecessarily adorned with zips or cluttered decorative stitching. I like the broad range of styles and colours that Clinkards offer.”

“Reviews about the sizing lead me to get a size smaller. I wish I hadn't. Maybe 1/2 a size would be sufficient. However the slippers just fit and will slacken with wear. As always, a great product but I admit to always buying in the sales . I love Clinkard shoes. Great quality and comfort and choice”

“Lovely comfy boots and so warm. Great colour (I bought the green) but getting the boots on was a real struggle as others have mentioned. I followed one reviewer’s advice, took out the elastic laces and replaced with ordinary ones - problem solved. But I think this is a clear design fault and it could do with being sorted please Siebel!”

“I've used CC for 21 + years for all my footwear and find them a great company At mid- 60s, my feet are changing. I had to return these size 5 long black boots , sadly , as they were too tight round my fairly skinny calves , and my knees are sometimes swollen so the zip pushed up against them ; I.e.the length of the lower leg did not work for me; however at the back of the ankle ( I've got high ankle bones ) I felt the support inside the back of the heel was thin and not as good as my old Gabor long boots- I gave away those 16 - year- old pair of long black Gabor boots last month , half a size smaller, as my feet have spread. Those boots were soft, supple and a better quality. ) - overall I've given up trying to find long boots for my shortish lower legs; I've got a pair of Gabor black, ankle- boots I've had for four years and they are flexible yet supportive , and comfy. I will stick with these. (Gabor have a wide choice!) ... Since Brexit, quality long boots are In Short supply. This is not a criticism, just an observation. Gabor are still the best choice for quality shoes and boots. Notably, when compared to other firms: The returns process was very easy, the label covered the carriage and the money was back in my account 3 hours after they had received the boots. ( tracking allowed me to see immediately they had been received). Much appreciated.”
