Hi, I sent you an e-mail last Thursday no reply ,why are goods I purchased in Germany.I purchased on 29th May, You sent me a link for tracking my order, German customs are looking for 19% + 10 euro handling charge + 5 euro a day while in German customs since Monday last wk,can you please sort this out for me or I want a full refund ,regards John

Hi John We are sorry you haven't yet received your Car Shades. We have tracked your order and because this is an order to the Republic of Ireland the tracking states that the goods are on hold awaiting customs clearance and it has been with them since Monday the 7th June. Therefore, you should have been contacted by email as there will be a clearance charge to pay before it can be released from the courier. Why am i going back and forth with a 3rd party to pay customs that cost more than the goods and they are threating me with penalties

Whilst we appreciate this is very frustrating, unfortunately, post-Brexit this is something that is out of our control on international orders and customs charges are at the liberty of individual countries customs departments not set by ourselves. Very poor. Still haven't heard back regarding a refund. Instructions are awful and not tailored to the specific vehicle. Fitting blinds requires hacking into seals of windows with ridiculous clips. I have previously used shades from another company using sticky velcro tabs which worked perfectly. Will not buy from here again.

One of our shades arrived damaged and the other didn't fit the car correctly, it definitely wouldn't have withstood winding down the window. We will be returning.

Hi - we are sorry to learn you are disappointed that there are additional fees to pay for your delivery to France. Unfortunately, this is a charge that is out of our control as the payment required is to pay the VAT in your country of residence to allow for customs clearance and for your order to be delivered. This is due to the agreement post-Brexit and the payment isn't made to ourselves and therefore the reason it is out of our control. We do however hope you like your Car Shades once they are received. Too expensive for a product that doesn't fit due to being wrong shape for rear window (Jaguar X Type saloon). Which was a huge disappointment as I have bought twice before for different vehicles where they fitted perfectly.

Shades for the model I ordered didnt fit. Sent back and still awaiting a refund months later - no way to contact the company directly to follow up. £100 down the pan!!

Hi Phillippa - as per our previous update we were very concerned by the feedback and have managed to locate your order on our system. After your correspondence with our customer services team in September, we received your Car Shades back to our factory that wasn't for the correct model of your car, and a full refund of £65.99 was issued on the 5th of October back to your original payment method. Therefore, if you could please check your original payment method to make sure it has landed that would be appreciated. Thank you Car Shades

Purchased some sun shades for Land Rover Discovery as we have a new baby. The fixings for the shades do not hold resulting on shade falling on baby.

They did not fit the car they were purchased for 2012-16 Honda CRV, Having previously purchased a set of shades for a Honda FRV from this firm which fitted perfectly in the Vehicle I was left very disappointed with this latest purchase which in the end was fully refunded, If in the future they make a set that will fit my CRV I would gladly purchase same.

Absolutely terrible fit on my Hyundai Tucson. Didn't fit the shape of the window properly. They bowed and the clips scraped on the glass when lowering the window. Sent back for a refund. Would not recommend.

I bought a set of car shades for my Freelander 2. Whilst the shades themselves are good quality the fixing clips are appalling and regularly fall off. In the end I had to make my own fixing clips. In summary these shades could be a good product if the fixing clips worked hence only one star rating.
