“Couldn't of been easier to order the right shades for my car. Ordered them on the Saturday night and they arrived on the Tuesday morning. So easy to fit and they are perfect. My daughter is no longer being blinded in the back which makes a car journey more enjoyable as she isnt upset. Bonus than the windows can still be used too. Love them”

“Ordered a full set of rear shades for my 17 year old Volvo. They arrived roughly 36 hours later and fit perfectly. Not cheap but excellent quality and do exactly what I wanted - provide shade in the back of car and obscure sight of the contents from the outside whilst still giving good visibility.”

“Absolutely delighted with my shades for my Dacia Duster. Even though the windows are tinted, the shades almost blackout the rear windows which is perfect for the hounds when travelling away from the sun. Plus when parked up the windows can be left right down, giving a lovely shady breeze for said hounds.”

“Great Quality and very well made. Extremely happy with the order apart from the Delivery as they got damaged. I've been in touch with carshades and they have said they will replace them. So all in all they are a Great company.”

“The shades are very good, they surpassed my expectations. I was considering getting tinting, but I'm glad I went with the shades instead: they're pretty easy to fit (there's a bit of a knack to it, you have to slide the clips on to the shades at an angle - the instructions could be improved), you can drive with the windows open and get both shade and fresh air, they're easy to remove (handy in winter with kids in the back) and do make a difference to how hot the interior gets. The fit is perfect (although you'll want to bend them into shape a little if your windows are curved as they come flat). Privacy is good, you can't see in easily in most conditions, but you can see out really well. Much cheaper and more convenient than tinting, I'd definitely make the same choice again.”

“These are great quality car shades and fit perfectly in our Ford Kuga. It’s great we can have the windows down but inside the car is still private as people can’t see in. Fab service and delivery from this company, highly recommend.”

“Not only do these shades look fabulous they fit perfectly. Easy to install my car is now cooler in the heat. The added bonus is that when driving at night they help provide protection from the glare of those ridiculously obscenely bright LED headlights on massive great SUVs that get right up your bumper and blind you! Love them and can highly recommend.”

“If I’m honest they are the most fiddly things ever to put together. It’s REALLY hard to put the clips in place. I got so fed up of trying I’ve put them to one side and will try again. I’m hoping they are worth all the effort. A friend had recommended you but I won’t be recommending you to any of my friends. If I can’t put the clips on I will getting in touch to return them. Most fiddly things ever. Very disappointed.”

“Exactly what my family need and what I was looking for. In perfect world you want the cars to come with these retractable shades but not everyone can have that as a luxury. These car shades make up for that. I didn’t want those ugly sock ones that slipped onto the car, nor did I want the suction ones as I don’t see the point, hardly covering the window. These car shades are specifically designed for your car and it allows my son to sleep on long journeys. Perfect for my family. Thank you Carshades!”

“I purchased a complete set of shades from my vehicle a little over two years ago, the product fitted well and appeared to be of good quality. I was recently travelling on the M1 on a very hot day, my three year old grandson lowered the window, the shade was sucked out and disappeared onto the carriage way, for safety reasons I was unable to stop my vehicle and therefore unable to retrieve the shade. I contacted Car Shades to enquire how I went about purchasing a replacement shade, only to be told that they do not sell individual shades. I was provided with a link to purchase another full set. I was disappointed with that response, and explained that I only wanted to purchase the lost shade. They did not respond to my email expressing my disappointment. Their sales narrative states that the shades do not fall out, and there is no mention that the shades are only sold as a complete set or that spare or replacement shades are not available. So buyers beware, these shades can be dislodged and if you are unfortunate enough to have your vehicle window lowered at the time, you run the risk of loosing the shade which cannot be individually replaced. In my opinion this approach to customer service is poor at the very least demonstrates a very inflexible approach to after sales support.”

Hi - it seems clear that the shades have been working as described for 2 years, we are sorry that one has been disloged and fallen but when the shades are fitted correctly and the clips are in place this can't happen , our design team work hard to ensure this . We dont list individual shades on our website or make any reference to them for the very reason that they are not available seperately. You have asked us to supply something that we simply dont list or sell , again we are sorry you didn't like our answer but it is the correct one. For many vehicles the door shades are available as a a pair so you may not need the full rear set, they are listed as a rear door set. Regards Carshades
