I think you need more clips as the keep blowing out when the window is open! Currently not using them as they are so annoying! Please can I have more clips?

Rear boot window won't stay in place they drop after about 5minutes of driving so I now after get some adhesive clips to stop it dropping

The shades themselves are fine, the fitting was a total nightmare!! One hour, a cut hand and three broken nails later, I finally managed to get them to stay in place. Getting the clips onto the shades is really difficult, they are so stiff to fit, and then getting the shades to stay in place was frustrating, one fell off every time I shut the door! The "how to fit" videos didnt really help either! If it hadn't been fo the fact that I desperately need sunshades to protect my granddaughter, I would definitely have returned them! Sorry, I always try to leave positive reviews, but felt I needed to point out the difficulties I'd encountered.

Hi - we are sorry you are having issues with the fitment of your Car Shades. We appreciate the clips can be stiff to get on and sometimes it is easier to put one corner on to the frame first at a 45 degree angle so more pressure can be applied through one corner of the clip to attach it to the frame. Please could you also email sales@carshades.co.uk and let us know which window the Car Shade keeps falling out and we will send you some longer clips. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. We can’t fit the window shades to our car! I ordered two 2016+ rear window shades for my seat ateca 2017, they are good quality and sturdy and look good, but they don’t fit! And there wasn’t actually an instruction manual to teach us how to install them properly. It came with clips, but no instructions on which clips to use. We searched on YouTube how to fit them, and neither of the clips actually work because the shades are about 1cm too big for the seat ateca windows! Considering they are supposed to be made specifically for that model car, they don’t fit at all, we would have to bend them slightly to squeeze them in!

Hi Julia We are sorry to learn you are having issues fitting your Car Shades. Please could you try the following steps: 1. Fit clip CL-M12 to the frame of the Car Shade first on the right-hand edge of the Car Shade 2. Fit clip CL-M11 to the frame of the door on the left-hand side, this video should give you a guide on how to fit them https://youtu.be/z8e2-mm8sUg 3. Push the right-hand side of your Car Shade that has clip M12 into the corner of the window frame first behind the plastic trim where your Car Shade is currently over lapping on the picture you have shared with us 4. Flex the Car Shade on the left-hand side behind clip M11 which is essentially a retaining clip Please let us know how you get on and if that doesn't work please could you send some more images to sales@carshades.co.uk and we'll see how we can help further. This review is vehicle specific because the shades don't work as advertised on a Volvo XC90. They do not attach magnetically to the doors rather you have to squeeze them in front of the glass instead. That means that if you do want to lower the glass they fall off. Also, the 2 that are meant to be for the rear screen at the back of the car simply won't stay on the car. They are designed to squeeze each other in place but I've not done a journey without them falling off half way through. The shades themselves are really nice though, qood quality and server their purpose, as long as they work for your car. For an XC90, I would not recommend.

I have still not received my package yet even though I got a confirmation email stating it had been despatched and it had been posted! I have rang serveral times to chase it with no luck as no one answers !

Bought some car shades based on what was shown would be compatible via the car details entered but once they arrived they did not fit. Response from customer service was very short and did not address our complaint about wrong suggestion being given. Now have no choice but to send back ourselves and pay return postage.

I’ve just purchased the shades for my BMW X1, the actual shades seem good quality and are adequately sized, however the fittings are inadequate, after struggling to fit the clips on they do not fit properly and just fall out when I’m driving, they are simply not fit for purpose. I’m very disappointed as they cost a lot, I have emailed the company to return them and not heard back as yet. Also I followed the video and it doesn’t match the interior of my car although I did specify make/model and year of my vehicle.

The shades arrived quickly and the quality of the blind is good. Unfortunately the little metal clips used for installation are very poor, with the design of the blinds meaning they sit against the window glass. This means the window cannot be opened with them in place to avoid scratches. After seeing this set, two family members have decided not to buy them and I wont be purchasing another set until they rectify this

I cant fault the shades. however, the listing stated this would fit my audi a5 variant and age but has frameless windows. I have sent numerous emails to them to find out how to return for a refund and have still had no response with the 14 return window closing....

A returning customer, really good items, but this time the fit was very tight, possibly due to the model of car, so snug was the fit that I broke one of the metal rods

Ordered a full set for my BMW X3. Delivery super quick and majority of the shades fit perfectly but the 2 main shades for the rear windows are not a perfect fit with gaps all around which is disappointing given the cost and the expectation that these are made to fit the vehicle. They also don’t feel secure so wouldn’t want to drive with the rear windows down which was a feature of why I opted for these fitted shades vs ones that stick on the windows. I have emailed to clarify if there was an issue with the product but not received a reply (even though the website states 1 working day response) and tried to call but no answer. A bit disappointed with the product even though the ones that do fit perfectly are great.

Would’ve been a fantastic product had it fitted my Fiat Panda Trussardi. Sent it back not a free return! Awaiting to hear if they have received the items in good faith and when a refund will be due by. Returns policy needs some work in your terms and conditions. If someone could let me know the information I’ve politely asked for, that’s be great. Thank you.
