“overall pretty impressed with the shades quality , fit and finish etc 2 things I didnt like - the clips for under the rubbers are quite loose on my set , not sure if this is a quality issue or just a one off on mine Second one - tool for peeling the rubber back is uncoated metal - i see this as a potential to scratch the door inner when peeling back - could a plastic tool be used instead?”

“The quality and sizing is pretty good. It falls short on eating as I've only given 4 out 5. Because of this, I find after fitting them it's still a bit see through and not completely 'blacked out' from outside the car. But you really only notice this when you're close up to the car. If it was completely blacked out I would of rated it 5 out of 5. I have another set from a company in China, granted they're not the perfect fit compared to carshades, but they do offer blacked out look and can still see through them inside the car. I do recommend these carshades however. The fit and finish is good. For me fitting on my ford focus ST I didn't need to use the brackets. They wouldn't fit into the gap of my door frames but that's because I have wind deflectors installed. Luckily, the carshades were quite a tight fit and remain stable even with the windows down, so I am very happy about this. I just wish it was a little bit more blacked out from outside the car but overall for most people it's a great alternative to very expensive tinted windows. And with these car shades not only they're cheaper than having your windows tinted, but they are practical and logical. It's good to be shaded in the back even when the windows are down. And also getting fresh air into the cabin and not worrying about anything not wanted flying into the car I.e bugs and dust etc. Overall, I really like them and they're are much better and so much more useful than tinted windows.”

“Pros: super quick delivery, clearly thought out product, includes a trim tool to help persuade (not needed in my case), well packaged, comes in a nice bag, good quality product Cons: instructions aren't super clear, some of the clips look very similar and I found it impossible to diffrentiate on the instructions so unclear if I put the right ones in the right places. Quite fiddly to fit but that is down to the snug fit so understandable. Great product overall, if the instructions were clearer would be 5 stars.”

“they fitted well and look good , and do the job i purchased them for . how ever the fittings that were supposed to stick to plastic weather strip is not stick as they were supposed to , i tried using new double sided tape and that dident work , came back off once the side doors were shut , so i ended up using super glue to get them to stick .”

“Purchased the rear door window blinds for the Mazda CX60. The fitting instructions photos & YouTube video are poor and took me a few minutes to work it out. However once I had they fitted very well. 5 star for quality and 3 stars for fitting instructions! Hence the 4 star review”

“I think the product is quality and I'm pleased with the results. I already have tinted back windows on my Grand Tourneo, but wanted more privacy as I often have tools in the back - the blinds do the trick and I can still see out of them when driving. Communication good be better, I asked a question but only got a very brief reply which misunderstood what I asked. But at least they replied. I have only knocked off one star due to the printed instructions - the photos are far too dark so I couldn't make out which way the clips face. And although they have gone to efforts to help people identify the size of clip you need (there are different sizes), I can't help wondering it this could be made easier with colour coding e.g. by use of a coloured dot sticker or something. I watched a video but it confused me even more. I am a self employed handyman so I am no stranger to following instructions and putting things together. In summary, I'd say, good product, but communication and instructions need a bit of improvement.”

“Really good website, easy to navigate & the shades themselves are so good, it’s made it very dark the back which is exactly what we wanted as the toddler hates the sun in his eyes. Only bugbear is that i was buying two sets and the discount code on the website did not work, which was a shame given how much i had spent.”

“The shades that arrived are a perfect fit for the windows of my car and the dispatch time was very good. My only issue is with the choice of courier, DPD. The parcel was due for delivery but i had an email to say they could not gain access to the address, with no explanation. I then had a futther message saying that the driver tried to deliver but there was no answer, this was a lie. I was at home at the time and my Ring doorbell picked up no activations. There was no we missed you card. I called DPD to get an update and no satisfactory explanation was given.”

“Im happy with the shades but the clips do not fit into the shades, I put the clips into the rubber seal around the widows as per instruction, but they do not fit into the shade, so not holding the shade very well as everytime i open and close the door the shades fall off, the clips need to have a wider mouth so the can hold the shade in.”

“The window shades were easy to order and were delivered quickly. They are a snug fit and ate of good quality. But I didn’t think they were as easy to fit as the instruction leaflet and videos said they were. This isn’t really any guidance on how to fit the clips to the edge of the shade, which was the most difficult part.”

“I have been using Car Shades for over 10 years in various cars that I owned. They provide very good protection for my little dog (Shiba Inu) when she travels with me. I am disappointed that no improvement has been made in the design of the fixing clips for securing the shade in the car window ope. This type of fixing is antiquated and needs to be improved.”
