“The product itself are 5 stars but I gave 3 stars because this is the only company that I've ever had a problem using PayPal at the same time I'm using PayPal to pay other companies all I got from car shades (palm automotive) was payment refused please contact with different payment..According to PayPal there not the problem. The reason I give the product 5 stars is I've had a set in my previous car hence me trying to buy a set for my new car”

“Shades are great for the car, but a little fiddly to fit even after watching the video. Also, there are 3 different sizes/shapes for the attachment clips but no clear way of distinguishing between them other than their shape - which is a little bit of guess work, so maybe they could be labelled/packaged to show which is which. We had an issue with one of them so just removed it and didn’t use it. Otherwise, great product and fits the window perfectly.”

“When i ordered the shades i was in a bit of a hurry , but i thought i ordered complete sides which i assumed wrongly would include the rear quater windows on my E91 Estate , But all i got was the rear passenger window shades , unfortunatley the shades are not a very good fit ' the trim around the rear windows is quite thick so its not a nice snug fit but it will do for now , The shades came with one upper stick on clip with 3m tape and two lower clips , only one lower clip can be secured the other lower clip just rests on the trim , the upper clip was never going tobe sticky enough to hold up the shade so i used a number plate adhesive pad with the clip which at the moment is holding on . I would value the shades at £25 and not £55 , to expensive for what you actually get ,”

“The metal clips scraped the tint in our BMW X3. They work better without the clips at all. Perhaps you can't put the windows down without the metal clips in place, but we'll live with that and use the aircon rather than damage our car further. The rear window shield is in two parts, so that's annoying too. We tried using it but the join between the two shields was too annoyng. The clip that holds them together, also scratched the tint in that window too. We tried it without the clips like the other windows, but due to it beiong a completely different design around the window itself, it sagged - so we just removed it altogether. Nice enough product in that thankfully the side shades work well without the clips, but the clips damaging our window tints was disappointing.”

“The shades seem good quality, but they were nowhere near as easy to install as shown in the videos, they don't flex as much and some of them were a really tight fit. The clips were extremely tight to get on and I did slightly damage one shade while installing it because of the sharp edge on the clip. The rear window one has a slight gap at the top where they meet and there was no clip to join them which was shown in the video so they don't fit as well as they should. Good, but not great”

“Ordered shades for my Ford kuga great fit and quality is good however one of the securing clips for the shades was missing , emailed customer services who responded immediately with a reference number (415695283429) and told they would get back to me within 1 working day but still waiting for a response, great product just let down by poor customer service and after sales”

“Shades were well made and fit well. Big disappointment was the difficulty in installation..a/ clips very hard to use( had to use pliers), b/ instructions guide does not clarify which clip goes where and which way around, and c/ video shot from too far away to see any useful detail. Query on use of window blind was met with a mail which copied same guide sheet as already provided with the above issues”

“They're generally a good idea and seem to do the job. One of the shades didn't fit as nicely as the others and didn't stay on the window and fell off in a car park at night so I couldn't find the fixings. Rather unfortunate. The fixings are also very stiff and difficult to attach.”

“The packaging and presentation is great - very neat and the shades are really good quality. The fit/shape could be better on my car however (a 2017 Discovery Sport), they don’t look particularly well fitting, but still perform as shades. Would recommend-just with that small caveat.”

Hi – if the shades you have ordered are incorrect then your Kodiaq must be the earlier model, even though it may be a 24 reg car it must be the previous model (Kodiaq had a model change in 2024 and you have ordered the 2024 onwards ones) The images of the models are in the listing to help clarify this when customers vehicles are registered around model change years as car manufactures never have a definitive cut off date and will supply both models for a short cross over period. “Good quality but sticky pads have unstuck and back window isn’t a perfect fit bit I managed to squeeze it in. Not as snug as the set I bought for my mk7.5 Golf R.”

“The DHL couriers could not find us , so they said unable to deliver twice . Had to travel to DHL depot to collect - approx 10 miles”

“Bought some car shades for my Vauxhall Crossland a couple of years ago. They were a pain to fit but once done they have been brilliant. On the back of this we ordered some for my wife's mini 5 door 2925. For the life of me I cannot get them to fit. Noticed that the website says blinds to fit up to 2024 model. Phoned car shades who initially were quite helpful and told me to email someone in development team to see if these blinds should fit and that they were looking at this mini model to develop blinds. Looking on the website the model they were look in at was the 3 door version. Emailed the development team to check but email didn't work. Tried to contact development team by phone but got the general phone number. Asked for a call back but nothing. All I want to know is if these blinds should fit and if so I will persevere but if not I will need to return. Until car shades get back to me I am reluctant to return item only to find that they should fit and have to reorder.”

“Not impressed that they don't cover all the window on my car, I've purchased these before for previous cars and fitted alot better than these . When I rang up was told I could return them for a refund but would have to cover postage costs.”

Hi - due to the angle of the rear window it is impossible to get out shades to fit closer to the glass. The shades do cover the whole of the rear window. If you are unhappy with the way the shades fit please feel free to return them and we will refund you.
