The shades look good quality however, I entered my make, year and model and the shades that arrive do not fit my car. I now have to send them back to obtain at refund at my own expense.

Hi – if the shades you have ordered are incorrect then your Kodiaq must be the earlier model, even though it may be a 24 reg car it must be the previous model (Kodiaq had a model change in 2024 and you have ordered the 2024 onwards ones) The images of the models are in the listing to help clarify this when customers vehicles are registered around model change years as car manufactures never have a definitive cut off date and will supply both models for a short cross over period. Good quality but sticky pads have unstuck and back window isn’t a perfect fit bit I managed to squeeze it in. Not as snug as the set I bought for my mk7.5 Golf R.

The DHL couriers could not find us , so they said unable to deliver twice . Had to travel to DHL depot to collect - approx 10 miles

Bought some car shades for my Vauxhall Crossland a couple of years ago. They were a pain to fit but once done they have been brilliant. On the back of this we ordered some for my wife's mini 5 door 2925. For the life of me I cannot get them to fit. Noticed that the website says blinds to fit up to 2024 model. Phoned car shades who initially were quite helpful and told me to email someone in development team to see if these blinds should fit and that they were looking at this mini model to develop blinds. Looking on the website the model they were look in at was the 3 door version. Emailed the development team to check but email didn't work. Tried to contact development team by phone but got the general phone number. Asked for a call back but nothing. All I want to know is if these blinds should fit and if so I will persevere but if not I will need to return. Until car shades get back to me I am reluctant to return item only to find that they should fit and have to reorder.

Not impressed that they don't cover all the window on my car, I've purchased these before for previous cars and fitted alot better than these . When I rang up was told I could return them for a refund but would have to cover postage costs.

Hi - due to the angle of the rear window it is impossible to get out shades to fit closer to the glass. The shades do cover the whole of the rear window. If you are unhappy with the way the shades fit please feel free to return them and we will refund you.

Blinds are okay but still let in a fair bit of sunlight and the clips were difficult to put onto the blinds

The fit is great, they really work for keeping the sun out and visibility through the shades is great. However after 3 days the sticky tabs that hold the boot shades on have fallen off and no longer hold the shades in place, which is a bit disappointing. If this wasnt the case, would be a solid 5*.

We are really sorry to hear that your shades are falling off - we will send some more sticky tabs in the post today. Can I suggest that you clean the glass before you try to apply these. The surface of the glass should be grease free prior to putting the tabs on. Hope this helps

My customer service experience has been terrible - I have been enquiring about an exchange for almost a week, and have not yet had a clear response (replying to my enquiry simply with nothing but a website link is extremelt poor). The blinds themselves look great, and the delivery time was fab, but the customer service has let down the whole experience for me.

We are very sorry for your delay in receiving your replacement fitting clip set. We have been closed over Christmas which meant we were very busy when we returned to work and then to add to the delay we send these kits out via Royal Post and we only took the items at the beginning of this week. Once again please accept our sincere apologies.

Nice looking shades that cover all parts of the rear windows. The instructions are a little obscure so I had to phone up to get some advice. The guy I spoke to was very helpful so I eventually managed to fit the shades fine. The shades block out some of the sun but I have still found myself having to squint when sat in the back with my toddler.,

We are very sorry that you have had issues with fitting your car shade products, but pleased to hear that you have managed to resolve after advice from our customer service department. We do have some videos on the Car Shade website for future reference. Unfortunately, our shades do not block out all sunshine but we are surprised that what is being allowed through is enough to cause you to squint. As a last resort if you are not satisfied with our products you can return for a refund.

Apart from the tool not being sent thus making the installation extremely difficult, the diagrams are not clear enough.

The blinds fit perfectly but the retaining clips are either the wrong type or not quite the right shape. Instructions were a little poor too. Minor improvements could make this product perfect.

Hi, Sorry only getting round to sending this in now, as I purchased the Car Shades - BMW X5 2014-17 - Full Rear Set back in February, but only got round to fitting them last month. The blinds themselves are very good quality and fit the windows perfectly. My only difficulty with the blinds, is the clips supplied, as they do not keep the rear door blinds in place. If a person gets in or out of the car and shuts the door, the blind drops out, so you have to keep fitting them back in. I did purchase a spare set of clips, but they did not work. Good blind, but pity about the clips.

We are going to send you some complimentary clips that are called M03, they are the same profile as the M13 clips you have in your set but have a slightly longer back plate to hopefully grab into the door seal a little better. Excellent product but I can only give 3 stars as let down big time by after sales care, such a shame that companies don't realise how important that is, thank you Steve Stockwell for taking ownership of the problem and sorting it for me.

They are a good idea and they look smart. However, on the back window, where they spilt, I have a solid black line down the middle of my back window. I don’t understand why you can’t make it so it’s all one shade?

Hi Beckie Thank you for your feedback and comments. The tailgate window is manufactured in 2 parts for several reasons: 1. Because many rear windows are curved, it isn't possible to get a single piece Car Shades that wide to follow the curve of the window perfectly, therefore we manufacture in 2 parts to get a perfect fit 2. They are easier to store in the boot in 2 pieces when not in use in the storage bag supplied 3. They are also easier to fit in 2 pieces rather than one We hope the feedback is of use and explains why we manufacture Car Shades for the boot in 2 pieces. Thank you Car Shades
