“Like so many on-line retailers, this company puts its faith in the utterly incompetent Hermes company for deliver. The customer gets no option to change the courier at the purchase stage, only finding out later who the carrier is. BuyAParcel did respond to my emails, but dogmatically refused to re-send the item because, they said, Hermes would probably still deliver. I know from bitter previous experience this is not the case, since Hermes are complete liars, and have no meaningful customer service. They lost or miss-appropriated the item. When I finally purchased a replacement from BuyAParcel, at my own cost and paying a postage surcharge, they told me this would be sent with UKMail and would be delivered by the post office. This was untrue, and DHL initially lost the item, though finally, after four weeks from the initial order, I was able to contact DHL and assist with directions - something you just cannot do with Hermes. Buy a Parcel may be a bona fide company, but don't do themselves any favours by associating with an uncaring and inept courier.”

“Having ordered on Monday I’m still waiting for my item to arrive a week later. I’ve bought numerous items from this company and they’ve all arrived really quickly so I was surprised that it hasn’t arrived yet :-(”

“I was very disappointed when the parcel arrived, i was forced through the letter box (i was in at the time) this ripped open the packing with the contents falling over the floor. the box of staples that was included opened, spilling staples over the carpet. A simple knock or ring of the door bell would have prevented this from happening. Would not choose Buy A Parcel if other options were available.”

“I placed an order with Buy A Parcel one Thursday lunchtime as their site advertised next day deliveries if orders are placed by 3.30pm. There is an additional cost for this. I paid my extra but never received anything the next day! I emailed customer services to say I needed it next day, so I have to cancel the order. OK, they said, but it was sent, and the courier was holding it for some reason, once returned, we will give you a refund, and they would get back to me. They didn't! As it was a weekend nothing arrived. Monday afternoon it arrived! To late for the job I question, I'd had to buy a sander locally to do the job on Friday. No response from B. A. P., no refund for the extra paid for next day delivery, no explanation. So would I use, trust or recommend B. A. P.? WHAT DO YOU THINK!”

“It took a full week for the parcel to be ready for collection by courier, even though I had sent two emails. It then took another 2 working days before the courier confirmed they had the parcel.”

“Website says they are operating as normal with a few delays but took over a week to send an instock item and thats with me chasing it. No apology, no updates as to the delay. I don't mind things being delayed, but I do expect to be kept in the loop.”

“asked for and paid for next day Saturday delivery. It didn't happen (under current circumstances I understand that), when I asked for the additional postage be refunded, al I got was excuses. I got what I wanted just late and over paid for the privilege. DONT pay for additional postage. You wont get it reimbursed, even though their Covid Terms & Conditions say you will”

“For this order only 2 stars. Ordered on a Saturday. No email confirming order, chased through email, no response. Chased through PayPal. Was initially told order was delivered 2 weeks before I ordered. Now, that order was superb, on time and was what made me reorder. But I paid for that delivery! Eventually they found the order, this is 4 working days after the order was placed when they say 2-3 days free delivery, and it still hadn't been sent. Will it arrive? I hope so. Would I used them again? After the first order I did. After this order, not quite so sure. I appreciate these are difficult times, I am running 14 service engineers, but if you can't deliver adjust your delivery times. I would have paid the extra for delivery to get it within a week.”
