I have to say I was extremely disappointed by the quality and size of the arrangement that my mother received. I order the Topaz bouquet at £70 and the actual product looks like a bunch of weeds. I decided to use Appleyard as I had a poor experience with Interflora, I definitely wont be using Appleyard again. I requested that they be delivered the day before Mothers Day (Sat) and they arrived on the Wednesday. I skyped my Mother on Mothers Day and the flowers my brother bought her from Morrisons Supermarket (for £20) were significantly better than the ones from Appleyard. to say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement.

I sent flowers to my Mam so I didn't see them. She told me that while they were beautiful and all, the roses weren't fresh and were dead within two days. I expect better.

Flowers were delivered to our door on Friday 13th March, as scheduled. They managed to get inside our front entrance door and carry all the way up to our 3rd floor, no lift flat. Thank you. Flowers were in an arrangement in a box. Additional vase ordered was in same box, but flowers were not in Vase. Flowers came in a protective package, with some water, but looked un-fresh from the time they came out of the box. They have been absorbing prodigious amounts of water but roses have already died, and some others are wilting. After 2 very good deliveries previously, I now question Appleyard because of a non-fresh, non-lasting poor delivery.

Flowers were bought as a milestone birthday gift, the recipient said the packaging was beautiful so had high hopes but the flowers were so disappointing she was too embarrassed to send me a picture. An invoice was also enclosed with the flowers so she had seen how much I had paid and only told me how bad they were so I didn't waste my money buying through Appleyard flowers again. Very disappointing, as the website and flower designs looked really good, but I wouldn't order from them again in future.

Flowers were average in quality the roses were lovely but the lilies and daisies were very 'past it'. Was a shame as I have ordered before and the bouquet delivered to the recipient was beautiful and on that basis chose Appleyard to buy my mother's day flowers from and I was disappointed. For the £30 I spent on the bouquet I could have got a few different bouquets from a supermarket which would have been more attractive.

Once I had registered with Appleyard Flowers I was sent an email giving me a 20% discount on my first purchase great...but that did not work. I called them and was told someone would call me back. As i needed the flowers by a certain date I went ahead. The flowers came on time and everything was fine until i notice that within TWO days the flowers started to die and fall off. I then emailed Appleyard and as yet have not had anyone reply to that. Not happy with the service I have received.

A real shame even though the delivery arrived on the day the flowers did not last very long, max 3 days and I was dissapointed with the bouquet, it was not as I expected based on the pictures on the website. Poor value for money.

I was not impressed by the £25 bouquet my mum received for her birthday. It looked very cheap, basic and limp. I was quite shocked as thought I would try somewhere new and the website looked lovely but I won't be using Appleyard again.

Sorry to say I was not impressed with the service or product. Ordered the Juliet bouquet and three days before the order was due I asked to alter the address for delivery. This was apparently impossible as was cancellation so I had to arrange for someone to pick the flowers up and take them to another location. Only one day post order having been fed, cut and moved to vase the some of the roses are brown around the edges and not looking good. Very disappointed as paid a premium price for the flowers and they have not lived up to the promise.

The flowers arrived on time and looked nice on delivery... however, many died overnight despite proper care and the flowers did not look very impressive at all. Disappointing for Mother's Day and thus not good value for money.

I really liked the box it arrived in and the flowers arrived on time. But the bunch was a little disappointing. It looked nothing like the photo and was a very gappy bunch. After a day they just looked droopy and dead. For the price I paid to get the large bunch it was disappointing to say the least.

My mum received her Mother’s Day flowers which I ordered from you last week and this is the only time a year I send her flowers so I wanted something special. I must say I am extremely disappointed at the size of them. This was supposed to be a large Mother’s Day bouquet, which cost me £35 which would have been £45 if I hadn’t used a £10 off code. There were about 7 roses and a few lillies and that was it, it was tiny! I completely understand and am realistic for what you get for your money on Mother’s Day, as the prices of flowers go up massively. But I used Appleyard with good faith, and yet I could have bought a better bunch from my local market for a cheaper price! I am so dreadfully disappointed with these flowers, and it’s unfortunate because as a PA I regularly order flowers for colleagues and was prepared to start using you regularly. I’ve used you twice now, and both occasions have been really unimpressed.

I saw the flowers that were delivered to my friend and they didn't look anything like the photo. Most of the flowers hadn't opened yet and I can understand that this so they last longer but it doesn't look very impressive when given as a gift.

Dear Sir/madam I have to say that I am disappointed with the flowers. I ordered some flowers for my mums birthday to arrive on Saturday and they did not arrive till quite late Monday afternoon which meant they had been packaged probably for 3 days or mire. Apparently they arrived in a sorry state and my mum did all to revive them but the roses did not revive well. My mum wasn't going to let me know but I visited her on Wednesday which is how I know. She also then told be that the same had happened with the flowers I had recently ordered for my sister in law, a few weeks back! Please can you respond Thank you Sarah

The flowers were delivered on Friday and come Saturday all of the white roses had died.

first flowers arrived with a dead rose and the other roses died two days later. they replaced it with another bouquet when I complained. I had paid for the extra large bouquet, but when it arrived I was disappointed - only 4 roses and 4 chrysanthemums with a few other flowers dotted around them - tiny, not extra large at all.

I used your service because the flowers looked beautiful and the delivery was free,the flowers I requested were a surprise for a 40th Birthday when they were delivered they were rather battered and the recipient contacted you and apparently you sent more flowers and chocolates this was very dissappointing and the recipient did not tell my of this situation it was relayed to me by a third party it spoilt what should have been a lovely surprise and I do not think I will be using your services again.

The first order (ordered two months in advance to make sure they arrived the right time on the right day) were not delivered on time by the courier.. although the staff were great trying to recover things - the moment was missed. The first flowers arrived and had to be thrown out after 2 days, the second better..
