Very disappointed! you should be done for false advertising! the flowers look nothing like they do in the pictures, even paid for a large bouquet to give it the extra WOW factor, just didn't happen. Flowers where half dead, brown crispy pettles, would have been netter off buying some at the local petrol station. Very annoyed, will not be using you again

Website: Easy to use, no issues. Had the flowers in my basket while I was deciding and was given a 20% discount offer the next day for the flowers. Delivery: Came in a protective box, delivered on time. Product: Ordered the pomegranate and rose peony bouquet in a large size. The box it came in, made it seem like it was a huge arrangement. However, when opened, the actual arrangement was pretty small. It looked like a small arrangement rather than the large. This was for my mother inlaw's 50th birthday so I actually thought it would be a big enough arrangement and I wanted something different than the usual Interflora flowers I usually order. Was certainly disappointed at the size. I could hold the bunch easily in 1 fist. The flowers itself were pretty but it didn't have that freshly picked look from an exclusive florist, as expected. It definitely did not look like what it was worth. Really disappointed.

We are florists and placed an international order for delivery in London. We did receive updates as to the status of our order via email. Just shortly after we received the delivery status our customer came in to the store to tell us that she had made a mistake and the recipient had a new address. Of course this was her mistake but somehow I had to fix it and ensure the recipient received the flowers. Keeping in mind that there is a 7 hour time difference solving these kinds of issues does always take time. I did have some questions that were never answered and perhaps they were in the fine print. Does the delivery company, in this case Royal Mail, not ensure the recipient gets the delivery? If there is no one home, does the recipient not get a phone call if the flowers are left on the doorstep or with a neighbor? How was I to handle this now? I sent an email to customer service and received this reply: "Thank you for your email. I am sorry, but the bouquet has already been accepted" Long story short - I was offered a 25% discount to place a new order. This was much appreciated as I did anticipate that I was going to have to bear the responsibility of my customers error. I called my customer wanting to keep her informed. Turns out she has a son in London who went to the former address and discovered that the flowers had been left at the flat in the entrance way. In fact no one had "accepted them" which your customer service had indicated to me. My customer relayed that the flowers were lovely but her advice to me was not to use Appleyards again as many other florists in London were able to get flowers to the recipient with just a simple phone call. I did remind her it was her mistake in the first place. All turned out well which was a relief otherwise I would have been out of pocket. Thought I would relay the story to you - perhaps another look at your delivery policy is in order. Thank you for the opportunity to write a review. I had to rate it a poor because the delivery was not "accepted ''by the recipient...or anyone else for that matter. I do understand that it is the fault of Royal Mail and the florist should not be judged by the delivery service but it is a partnership. The follow through by customer service was not acceptable. Flowers sent to my wife for our anniversary were not anywhere near as good quality as I'd expect for £50 very dissappointed - now waiting to see what they are going to do about it...

I posted a review on Sunday about how good the flowers my partner received where . It's only 5 days after delivery and the flowers are dead , they have had enough water and we have even tried the lemonade trick . Even though they are guaranteed for 7 days this has not happened . They where beautiful but they don't last which is a complete disappointment .

Haven't received my flowers yet, they are a day late, even though I ordered them a week in advance. I think the problem was down to Royal Mail though. Was content to get a full refund on my purchase, but would have been much happier if the flowers I ordered for my girlfriend arrived on the correct day. I would be extremely reluctant to make any further purchases incase the same thing happened.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a relative and when it arrived I was so disappointed. The flowers was not fresh at all, the colour of the roses was turning brown so im assuming it wasnt fresh, I also paid for it to be a extra large and it was just a standard size, overall not happy at all for the money I paid for.the only good thing was the delivery!

Disappointed that it wasn't next day delivery, I would have chosen another provider had I known that the package originates in Nottingham (I'm assuming this is the case, as this was the originating mail office).

I ordered a nutmeg bouquet of flowers for my mother in law for her birthday, when it arrived and I took a closer look the roses were terrible, they look like they are almost dying! The lillies was the only flower that was fresh.i also paid for it to be an extra large bunch and it was just a standard size very disappointing! The only thing that was good was the delivery it came on time!

Nice flower but very disappointed that they only lasted 2 days. for the money that I paid I would of expected that they would last at least 5-7 days. I had to go out and buy more for the recipient as I was embarrassed by how short the flowers lasted. It amazed me how the cheap supermarket flower lasted a lot longer.

I bought my friend these flowers to cheer her up. I opted for the large bouquet and she sent me a picture when she received them to say thanks. I was really dissatisfied with what she received, there was not as many flowers as shown in the image on the website. For £29.99 it was a poor bouquet. I won't buy again.

The flowers I sent my nan were not fresh and had already browned around the edges! The website and your flowers look so well presented I thought the flowers would be top notch but I've ordered better quality from moonpig before

It's a bit difficult to give a review seeing as the flowers weren't delivered on the day I sent them, instructions were left with the delivery provider to wait patiently as the recipient would not be able to answer the door quickly and despite being at home the flowers were not delivered. When the re-delivery was arranged for the morning, it was failed to be delivered in the morning and again despite being in they weren't delivered, eventually the recipient had to send someone to collect them for her...by which time they were pretty dead and dismal - which was also disappointing as you'd expect the flowers to last Sat-Wednesday.

This was the first time I placed an order with this company. Flowers ordered for delivery to home so that I could take to a family member for a birthday party later that evening. The box was damaged and had been opened prior to delivery. My postman was apologetic and said that he would ensure that the condition of the box would be reported to his depot. Opening the box I could immediately detect a mouldy smell and I could see that several of the flowers were crushed. I took apart the bouquet and found that many more stems were rotten and brown and there was visible furry grey mildewy type growth on some. How this bouquet had been deemed fit to dispatch, I am not sure. I had to visit a local florist to purchase a replacement. I emailed customers service with detailed photos and was contacted very quickly with an offer of a refund & replacement. This has now been done. The replacement bouquet was much better and has lasted well. I would probably not use this company again as I feel that the quality control and packaging is inconsistent with the luxury image of the brand. Sorry. That's my honest view.

The flowers received didn't resemble the image on the website. I ordered a 'large' bunch of flowers and we received what can only be described as a very small bunch. Very disappointed as I had sent them as a gift!

Very disappointing first time with Appleyard. Flowers were not delivered on the selected date, in this case mothers day (sunday may 10th). In this case the date meant everything. Wrote an email yesterday, no word. Flowers were finally delivered today at 2pm. That is not what I paid for....

I asked for a Sunday delivery for a special occasion as this was an option, paid extra money for it, yet the flowers weren't delivered until Monday and I was not advised until the Monday. If you can't deliver what you offer, don't offer it and charge for it!

I ordered the bouquet in a Standard size, Scented Meadow. The bouquet that arrived for my sister's birthday was lacklustre and definitely did not deliver on the luxe factor. The wrapping is shabby and the picture on the website is different from the flowers that were delivered. The only plus point was that the flowers delivered were quite fresh and delivery was timely. I will not order from Appleyard again as I think the price is not justified for the bouquet which was delivered.
