Flowers looked great on website, ordered an extra large bouquet for my mother's return from hospital, order came to £50. When I called round to see her and saw the flowers, I asked if she had split them up into two vases and where was the other one? Couldn't believe a £45 bouquet could be so small. Lovely flowers, pitiful size for a so-called "extra large" option. Won't be using Appleyard in future...

Tricky one to judge. Ordered flowers for my girlfriend for our anniversary and turned out they got delayed - I had to ring them up to find this out rather than them telling me. However, they did then provide a full refund whilst still delivering the flowers the following day (and were very apologetic on the phone)

Ordered flowers for a friend who wasn't well. Ordered on 24th May for delivery 28th May which I thought was slow, but couldn't do anything about it. They were delivered a day late. According to the tracking, they were in Falmouth on the 27th May. As the order was to be delivered about 3 miles up the road, I would love to know what was the delay. If it was anything else, it would have been ok, but this was a fresh flowers order. Our friend says the roses were lovely, I can only hope she wasn't just being polite!

I ordered two bouquets - one for my parents and one for my sister. My sisters was lovely - full and flowers fresh, however I was a little disappointed when I saw my mum's. The roses were already brown around the edges the next day after they were delivered then 3 days after, two of them had dropped. Meanwhile, none of the lilies had opened. My mum said that they were beautifully packaged and she was pleased when they arrived, but I had expected a little better quality if I am honest. I would still try again as my sister's were perfect.

I had high hopes for Appleyard. I loved your site and picked what I thought was the perfect arrangement for my daughter's birthday. This was the first birthday I couldn't be with my daughter so I chose with care. I knew she would love the pink vase. But lo-and-behold she did NOT receive the design or the vase I selected. While the flowers sent were beautiful, they were not what I had chosen. She had to buy her own vase and the colors were not her favorites. I'm sad -- because I send a lot of flowers and wanted to find a reliable and creative floral design company in London.

The extra large 'Charlotte ' bouquet was not that good and certainly did'nt look like £50 worth particularly alongside another bouquet which was delivered by a local florist.Disappointed!Would probably not use Appleyard again.

A few days ago I would have given this a poor rating but I have to say that customer services and the quality of product saved the day. The original order was not delivered on the day however a replacement was sent and our money refunded. We were offered another replacement bouquet which my husband asked to be sent to me. Unfortunately this never arrived and another call to customer services had to be made. They were very apologetic and rearranged delivery. I have to say when the flowers did arrive they were beautiful and a week later they are still in full bloom. My mother-in-law was also pleased with her delivery of flowers and impressed with the quality. Apart from the delivery problems I would have given a very good for the quality of the flowers.

Placing the order was a breeze. The downside was paid extra for delivery to be made on mother's day. instead it was only delivered the next day. disaoppointed. Nevertheless, bouquet was lovely.

I was looking for scented flowers and when they arrived, they had no scent which was disappointing as this was particularly what I was wanting. Maybe when the lilies come out there will be a scent? The flowers arrived on time and were attractive but when unpacked some of the agapanthus flowerheads had fallen off and were rather delicate. I think this may be due to the fact that they were put in normal post and there was no signage to say it was fragile and it was not at all obvious that there were flowers contained within. Summary - Could have been lovely with some immediate scent and more care with delivery to ensure perfect condition.

These flowers are nice however I thought the bouquet would be bigger since I chose to pay extra for the largest bunch. The roses are also at the end of there life so they could have been fresher. However the delivery was ok and on time and the price was excellent.

Unfortunately it started off badly as the delivery person did not call on my door but went directly to my neighbors, so I thought that the delivery was not coming. However when my neighbor brought over the flowers, my wife absolutely loved them.

The flowers are in good condition and are not overly buded which is good however, slightly on the small side for the price , no better than interflora which is a shame as I had high hopes,

The web site is easy to use and the bouquets look lovely in the pictures. However the last two orders placed have been gifts and we have not received any feedback from the recipients... we have used the tracking service and have confirmation that Royal Mail have delivered on time as planned, but we don't know if the flowers were received as expected or anything so this feedback cannot be greater than the buying experience!

I actually paid extra money for a special delivery. Whilst it was delivered at the specified time, the driver left the flowers outside the door. I would have expected the driver to knock on the door and deliver personally. Had I known that it is your normal practice to leave outside, I would have not asked for a special delivery and paid extra On the positive note the flowers were excellent !
