I thought the actual bouquet was quite small, even though I spent the extra to get the 'large' upgrade. Also, there was no card with the flowers so the receiver had no idea who had sent the flowers. This may have been lost in transit with DPD, or lost at the security gates to the building where the flowers were being delivered. Flowers were fresh and did look good.

Flowers are beautiful but not as big as Id hoped, for me it didn't have the wow factor I was hoping for but my mum was pleased never the less!

It's difficult gauging the actual size of the flowers when buying online, so I was a little disappointed when my mother (recipient) said the flowers were small. I have no complaints about the efficiency of the service however

The flowers, which were ordered as a birthday gift, were not delivered on time. They were ordered on the Friday at 3pm to arrive Monday and I only received an email at 6pm on the Monday to tell me there was a delay in the delivery. I contacted the customer service team via email who managed to rectify this issue by providing excellent customer service and sent out another bouquet without complaint. I was very impressed with their prompt responses and the trouble they went to fix the problem. The new bouquet was beautiful.

The website was easy to use and I was updated well via text when the flowers would arrive. Sadly I was very disappointed as overall they cost £50 and they said it would be the large bunch like the picture on the website hence why I paid the extra £10. My friend showed me the flowers they were a tiny bunch- although they were beautiful certainly not worthy of £50. I will not be using your website again.

My sister says that the flowers are beautiful she described them and they do sound nice but not plentiful. It would be useful if in addition to showing a picture of the bouquets the description included the quantity of blooms for each price. I think you should also know that the postman who delivered the flowers did not wait for the door to be answered but rang the bell but a note through without his ID and said that the parcel could be picked up after 24 hours. Thankfully she found the note and went into the street and found a postman who contacted the deliverer of the flowers and they were delivered 1hour later. This was not how I expected her to receive her flowers on her 65th birthday. Because of this I shall probably not purchase from Appleyard Flowers again.

Wold have liked the option of using my own credit card and not have to go through Paypal. Almost put me off ordering as i rarely use Paypal and couldn't remember details.

Overall I am pleased with the service, the only down side being that when the flowers could not be delivered on the day requested that they were not left in a safe place as requested and were, instead, taken to a nearby post office. This meant that the recipient didn't receive the delivery on the day requested

Even though they were a bit more expensive than other florists, I decided to use Appleyard Flowers to send my sister a bouquet of flowers for her birthday as I wanted something special. The bouquet arrived on the day requested with the flowers described on the website however, the roses looked a bit withered like they had already passed their full bloom state. The bouquet was also smaller than what I had expected. I was disappointed as after seeing that Appleyard had been reviewed in magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair, I was expecting a better 'wow' effect.

It was a smooth process ordering flowers from Appleyard, however the flowers didn't look exactly as they did online, totally different colours & arranged differently. We paid extra for a timed delivery slot but we didn't get notified of this until the day, we were delivering our flowers to a school, so they had to be there before 3pm. Our time slot was extremely close to this time.

I think I have used this company around half a dozen times in the past couple ofcmonths. The flowers look stunning on the website. The first 4 orders I never saw so have to assume they were OK. I sent a Summer Coulis bouquet, with free large upgrade to my recently bereaved father on what would have been my parents wedding anniversary, the first after her passing. I saw the flowers about 6 days after delivery and they were looking pretty tired by then so couldn't entirely decipher the quality. Was expecting to find them in stunning full bloom. The size didn't look large and co!ours not as vibrant as expected. Also had a Sundae bouquet delivered to myself as a treat last Monday. I was a tad underwhelmed if I am honest and the outside petals of the roses weren't very fresh, a bit brown and dog earred. Also, some of the heads of the carnations had broken off in transit. Just felt a bit deflated. Not sure whether to chance another order but I have several upcoming occasions and I do like to support British companies. Am on the fence. On a positive note, the tracking and email updates are great.

Nicely packaged and presented. Flowers arrived late.

The delivery was on time, which is a big point. Price seems right and the flowers arrived on good condition. The bad point is the message: 250 letters (spaces included I guess) are really not enough (it's not as if it cost you anything), and there was plenty of space on the card. The change of line wasn't respected, which doesn't look good, and we can't even see how many letters we've written, so we have to count... this could really be improved.

Although the flowers were very nice apparently, they were not at all what I ordered (pink instead of blue-good job they weren't for a baby celebration) and were delivered a day early. As they were relatively expensive, compared to other companies, and I chose them for thst particulatr bouquet, which had meaning for the recipient, I was not very satified. But the bouquet was impressive so no 'poor'.

I ordered two bouquets - one large and one extra large. The first bouquet was OK but a bit disappointing considering it was supposed to be 'large', but the second bouquet which should have been extra large was very, very disappointing. It wasn't even as big as the first bouquet and the flowers looked like they had been thrown together at the last minute. They did not reflect at all what was shown in online photo.

This was my first experience of using the service and unfortunately it was a little dissappointing. My order didn't arrive in time for my friend's birthday despite me paying a premium and following up on the day. Saying that the team did go out of their way to compensate me by refunding the bouquet and offering me a 2nd free bouquet to send to anyone of my choosing. So despite the rocky start I have to say they did redeem themselves and from what I heart both bouquets were beautiful!

Flowers were lovely. Disappointed with Royal mail delivery though. They did arrive on the right day but Postie didn't bother knocking, just put an 'unable to deliver' card through the door. This seems to be quite common for Royal Mail, I guess they can't be bothered carrying the parcel up to the door so just write out the card in the and and post it, hoping no-one will hear them. Fortunately I heard the letter flap go and was able to run out to catch him. He looked a bit sheepish when I caught him. If I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to pick up the flowers until the next working day! This happens a fair bit, so you might want to think about using them
