I tried to cancel the delivery two days before but with no success, shame as I am not sure who has the (not cheap) flowers now. The customer service told me that as they had not been able to cancel the delivery they would allocate a credit against the account to be used in a future occasion, we'll see...

This was the first time purchased flowers from Appleyard and I have got to say - I was disappointed by the roses in the bouquet as their exterior petals were already crisp, dry and brown around the edges. The rest of the flowers lasted five days but the roses wilted after three.

I used a discount voucher for these flowers, but I was a little disappointed when they arrived. The flowers were supposed to be worth £49.99, but even at £24.99 (the price after the discount was applied), I felt these weren't value for money. The bouquet was quite small and the flowers didn't look very fresh - I feel I could have picked up something better for £24.99 (and not had to pay the £4.99 delivery charge) at my local florist. This was my first experience of Appleyard, having been attracted by the Tatler Privilege Club offer. Having not really had a particularly good first experience, I'm not sure I would use them again.

The flowers were OK, the roses were nice but not vibrant colours, overall the arrangement was quite poor.

Bouquet as described and recipient said it looked nice on arrival, but three days later when I saw it, it was looking a tad jaded and some of the white roses were quite brown around the edges. I have to say on the whole I was a bit disappointed.

Sadly I was disappointed with the bouquet I had sent to my Mum. It didn't look anywhere near as lovely as the website photo and some of the flowers died before they opened.

I was slightly embarrassed by the bunch of flowers that arrived as they were a gift. The picture on the website looked much more beautiful and impressive than the actual bunch delivered. Also I emailed Appleyard to express my disappointment and never heard back - which was also disappointing.
