“I paid £33 for this orchid, which was purchased as a birthday present. Although the orchid I received is the same product shown on the website, the plant delivered looked completely different from the advertised photographs. The website shows a full, lush, and beautiful orchid with plenty of flowers and a much more impressive overall appearance. Unfortunately, the orchid I received was sparse, did not look full. I understand that plants are living products and that there can naturally be some variation between individual plants. However, the difference in appearance was significant enough that I felt the product did not live up to the expectations created by the website photographs. For £33, I expected the orchid to look reasonably similar in fullness and presentation to the one advertised. As this was intended as a birthday gift, I was particularly disappointed when it arrived. It did not have the beautiful, full appearance I had expected when I placed the order, and I would not have chosen it as a gift had I known it would arrive looking like this.”

“This is my second purchase from Appleyard and the flowers themselves have always been exceptional. The reason for not giving a 5 star is that their delivery partner doesn’t guarantee the delivery date so it is advisable to use an earlier date to avoid disappointment. Customer service were brilliant when contacted during office hours.”

“The only supplier I could find with yellow roses for delivery on a Monday as a stated delivery date. I have not seen the flowers but the recipient was very pleased with them and I was pleased with the price. I will use this company again.”

“Would leave zero stars if I could. Picture of what my daughter and what I received was a joke. I had to throw half the flowers away as they were rotten. Box arrived soaking wet and left outside and didn’t even ring doorbell. I also tried to add a photo several times to show how bad it was and, surprise surprise, it came up with an error! Save your money and go elsewhere”
