“I received a very large bunch of daffodils on Sat 22nd March at 1.30 pm ; they were a Mother’s Day gift from my family. I trimmed the ends of the stems and placed them in water straight away. By Monday they had failed to open, I have taken two photos of them since as they have wilted and failed to open . I’m very disappointed and upset. My son will use the photos as evidence to claim refund .”

“I am a recipient of Appleyard Flowers on 31/3/25. However this morning 2/4/25 I woke to find dead peach spray roses!! Aghast from a sad recipient of Mother’s Day flowers although they came a day late. All instructions followed and happiness reigns with rest of bouquet. Please note previous deliveries were healthy living flowers for a good week plus with repeated water refreshments! Just wanted to share with Appleyard Flowers and not go through my daughter who would be upset to know this especially as she’s purchased a three-month subscription! Lola I’ve tried downloading a photo of dead roses but your system doesn’t allow me too!”

“SW15 3TT Really disappointed with the flowers sent= nice rose bulbs which started drooping after a couple of hours and got quite dry despite our best efforts. Sorry for my son who wanted me to have nice flowers for Mother's Day. Disappointed and disappointing”

“My partner has shopped with your company many time & has spent thousands, as you can see from his order history. He put his faith in you this time & to say you've failed isn't an adequate description. He paid a fortune for 1 of your most expensive bouquets & paid for delivery Fri, you suddenly changed it to Sun with zero explanation. It's now Tues, still no flowers & zero response to multiple emails that have been sent. I would have added a photo but seeing as the flowers haven't even arrived, that's impossible. 1 thing I can guarantee, you've lost a valuable customer”

“Normally I receive absolutely beautiful flowers, however sadly for Mother's Day this year they were really disappointing. I normally go for something with lilys however this time I went different and selected the 'English Garden'. I don't know whether its because I ordered so far in advance but the roses were already wilting by the time it arrived. They arrived 3pm Friday and by 3pm Saturday they were wilting, losing petals and I had to separate the bouquet into two vases to try and bulk it out with other flowers from a supermarket. Really not the normal standard and thank goodness I had a discount but still really dissapointing for the price”

“Sad that of seven roses in the bunch, one was broken, another is brown at the stem and dropping petals, a third drooping on the day after arrival. Shame - the flowers only arrived yesterday and I did everything as instructed. Sad.”
