The order was scheduled for 11/11/15. The flowers were left "somewhere safe" (the only option for where to leave them). We're not sure where they were left, but they were supposed to be delivered to my daughter on her birthday (11/11). Unfortunately, they were not left at her school on that date, and they did not make their way to her until 11/13/15, and the box in which the flowers were delivered was opened before receipt. I'd have to say that this service was very unreliable. The hydrangea is very pretty, but I have strong reservations about ordering from Appleyard Flowers in the future.

This bouquet was pretty disappointing. Didn't look like the picture, I ordered the "Bluebelle" bouquet as a wedding gift for someone with a blue theme. The agapanthus that came was purple.

These flowers should have been so lovely however by the time the lilies even began to open the roses had already started to die which was very disappointing.

Would have been very good - the flowers were beautiful and much appreciated. Unfortunately one bouquet arrived 1 day later than confirmed and the other 3 days late. Ordinarily wouldn't have mattered but as they were both as condolences for the loss of a family member I felt this was not acceptable. Sorry.

We placed two orders in succession, but there was no apparent way to redeem the 5pound voucher from the initial order and apply it to the subsequent order. Also, it took 7 attempts to input our US billing address because the prompt did not specify the format for "State". Hope these flowers make up for all this inconvenience.

I was a little disappointed when my order arrived. The ad stated the roses would be budded, they were not. And I ordered the ex-large bouquet but that failed to impress because what arrived seemed more like a large! I adore flowers, and was expecting something a bit more impressive. Overall presentation and packaging was good.

Paid a premium price for 2 dozen roses which died after 5 days? We followed instructions carefully. Not impressed

Poor delivery. We included a note on the delivery instructions to say leave with a neighbour. This was ignored and flowers were taken to a post office miles away - not great for perishable items. The delivery note left with the recipient didn't explain that they were flowers, so she had no idea that she needed to rush to pick them up. As the purchaser, I didn't receive a note to say that they hadn't been delivered. I would always expect an expensive florist to have its own local delivery service and to try and redeliver. I would never use this florist again for that reason.

Very helpful customer service. But the flowers weren't as advertised, and unfortunately the bouquet didn't look like the picture at all. Despite ordering the large bouquet, when the flowers arrived half were bloomed and the other half were still waiting to bloom. As such, there was never a fully bloomed bouquet, they were either half bloomed/half waiting to bloom or half bloomed/half dead. Wouldn't recommend.

I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday; however, the flowers were not fresh. They looked very dull and lifeless.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers, and opted for the extra large option by paying an extra £10. Its not worth it as the bouquet that arrived looked smaller than a standard option, never mind the brown edged roses. Rather disappointing.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. The bouquet of mixed roses delivered to my wife for our Wedding Anniversary didn't last. After 3 days all of the yellow roses had drop most of the petals, had wilted to the point they had to be binned but all of the pink roses were still perfect. The customer service was excellent: when I contacted them I was immediately offered a replacement/refund. My concern is that I saw the flowers as they were delivered to our home but if you sent them to someone else would they tell you they weren't great? Probably not.

These flowers were for my mother for her birthday. Unfortunately, they were very disappointing. They did not appear fresh and did not last very long - some only the one day. 1 was broken on arrival. I will not be using Appleyard again.

I ordered a bouquet worth £50 for my colleagues' birthday. I also paid £10 pounds which was a service charge for bouquet being delivered next day before 12pm. Flowers came only around 2pm. I would had been happy to disregard the late delivery, if the flowers were as lovely as on your website. However, for my surprise, opening the box roses seemed to be already few days old and not fresh at all. To be honest i felt a little embarrassed to give these flowers to my colleague as they definitely wouldn't be something i would have chosen myself (freshness of the roses not flowers on itself). Sorry Appleyard but i am not sure i will be using your services any more.

I didn't get an email to say my order had been placed! There were a number of errors appearing when ordering so took ages to order! My friend took a picture of the flowers and sent them to me, they didn't look great and not worth the money I spent!

I ordered my parents a bouquet which cost approx £80 for their wedding anniversary. I'm sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed. The bouquet was small and unimpressive and when I saw it ( 2 days after delivery) most of the roses were dead. In fact the whole bouquet looked ready for the bin. I feel very let down as this was supposed to be a special bouquet at the price I paid. Overall very very disappointed.
