As beautiful as the flowers were for the amount of money paid this particular bouquet was disappointingly small. I have had much more impressive flowers from Appleyard. Shame this one was a Xmas gift as well.

Unfortunately the flowers I ordered for my mum's birthday didn't last as well as I had hoped. They arrived on the 21st December nice and early, so service was great but when I was round hers for Christmas they had all died. My mum said they deteriorated very quickly and she is normally very good at looking after flowers.

The website photos look beautiful and we bought about 10 bunches of two different types to send to clients in the last week or so before Christmas. I asked a couple of clients to send me photos and although they were pleased, they looked not nearly as large and impressive as the photos even though I apparently had free 'large' upgrades on a few of them. The bouquets didn't have as many flowers and foliage. The arrangements weren't as shown. Very Disappointed. They also arrived days after the date given on the website.

Flowers arrived dry, half dead and poorly packed, leading to some embarrassment as they were for a close relative we could not see at Christmas.

Tried to buy a particular Goldleaf Bunch as advertised in Telegraph with 20% discount. Goldleaf item was not available and the discount code was ignored. The advert was misleading so not impressed.

Dear Paul Thank you for the feedback, the Goldleaf Bunch was a very popular promotion, if the Goldleaf wasn't available for you to use it would mean that the available stock at that time had ended. Thanks Appleyard London

To be honest disappointed with the bouquet of flowers, look a little tatty, certainly didn't look like fresh flowers more like a few days old. Had problems with receiving emails & even my order didn't display under my account. Customer service was poor.

I live in Australia and my best friend lives in England. Earlier this year I sent her some flowers and they arrived perfect, on time and looking great. This built confidence for me to use you again. Sadly, this time the flowers were delivered the following day and looking very sad (not fresh like a nice, healthy bunch). I had booked the job 2-3 days before necessary and there was still a delay. What should have been a nice surprise on her birthday turned into a sad looking bunch of flowers the following day!

Flowers lasted less than 3 days. Was not up to a standard I would have expected. Was an anniversary present and turned up around 4pm. Would not order again

Ordered extra large and when they came they were no bigger or better than a £10 bunch from a supermarket or petrol station and they lasted about half as long. They arrived on time bit that was the highlight. Disappointing.

Flowers weren't delivered on the specified date and the roses were already wilting and brown when delivered. Very disappointed.

The bouquet looked stunning when it arrived, stems already bruised as they should be, so I thought these would be a great bunch. One week later and the roses were dead and dry, and the other flowers had lost all life. The agapanthus lasted no more than three days. I know a bouquet won't last forever, but j was really surprised at how quickly they had faded. Perhaps the blooms weren't chilled enough before delivery?

Great flowers just really disappointed they needed a signature to be delivered so they didn't get to my sister on time for her birthday. We were surprised when the note left instructed her to collect them from a post office three days later, this just isn't suitable for a flower delivery! None the less thanks for pulling through and arranging a suitable time so my sister stayed in for them to be delivered the next day! Would be looking for a smoother way to order flowers from Australia for my sister in London another time.

I purchased the largest size of flowers but I was sent a picture of the actual flowers delivered and was very disappointed. I thought the size of the bouquet would be bigger as the image portrayed.

The online service, purchase, etc. was great. But the actual flowers let me down. I ordered the Lilies (blueberry) but they never really bloomed. The other roses and flowers were all but dead before they even started to bloom. I would not buy from Appleyard again if the flowers are not good quality.

It was my first ever order with Appleyard Flowers. The flowers were beautiful but the delivery service rather poor. My daughter did not receive my flower greetings on her 30th birthday, but a day later. This was very upsetting as I live overseas. I was contacted by the ldelivery firm via e-mail, but unfortunately out of the house and not connected to internet. It would have been helpful to make a little more effort to contact me, for example via sm,s especially because I paid for secure delivery. Instead I was asked to name a neighbour or make sure that the recipient is in the house. When I called the number I was sent, there was only an answering machine to talk to. Well, I also dont know anyone in my daughter's neighbourhood and what is the point of telling someone to stay at home to receive a bouquet of flowers? Would that be a surprise? I have not experienced delivery problems with other companies. You should contact people per Sms not e-mail and make more effort to deliver the goods. Sending out compicated e-mails and not haveing customer service on weekends is not very helpful I am afraid.

I am sorry to say we were terribly disappointed with the flowers, they were a birthday present for my mother as I was out of the country and I felt guilty for this being the case. Never the less, I thought a delivery of beautiful flowers would cheer her up and help her have a lovely birthday. The carrier was by the Post Office (Royal Mail) I specified the date I wanted (her birthday), they attempted a delivery but there was no one at home and no safe place to leave them, so they left a card instead. No attempt was made to re-deliver the flowers FRESH CUT FLOWERS, not just a general parcel, but FRESH CUT FLOWERS the same day, in fact they were delivered much later the following day. My mother advised me that the flowers looked 'tired and slightly bumped' when she didreceive them and then to add insult to injury they dropped their heads and wilted in only a couple of days. We were both very upset and extremely disappointed with both the delivery service and the quality of the flowers, Im not sure I'll use Appleyard Flowers again.

I had ordered flowers for my 1sr anniversary for my girlfriend. When I ordered I requested they be delivered on Saturday 14th which was the day of our anniversary. Instead my girlfriend gets a card in the post from the post office saying they had tried to deliver the flowers that Friday a day before. She had to go to the post office and collect the flowers which should have been delivered properly the day I requested. Really not impressed considering how much I spent. It somewhat ruined my surprise for her. Very poor irresponsible service.

Brought the scented lavender bouquet paid extra for 'large', when received looked very sad for itself, not much to it and couldn't see it getting much better, tried 4 different vases to see if that helped-didn't. Thought I'd wait for the flowers to bloom as they are described as arriving in bud form. Unfortunately the roses arrived fully open, so by the time the other few flowers are starting to open (6days later) the roses are now dead. -not 7 day guarantee freshness and nowhere near as 'full' a bouquet as pictured on website. Overall really disappointed for the amount paid and would get better from our local market flower stall. Won't be ordering again, too expensive for supermarket quality flowers.
