I was told the flowers were beautiful, but I was extremely disappointed that after I have placed the order early in the day and have paid for it to be delivered the next day for a 80th Birthday surprise, it arrived on the 3rd day (a day after the Birthday). Furthermore, there was no email, or phone call or any sort of notice that the delivery was going to be late, and neither was an apology that was late. I will not use this company again.

Flowers were not delivered on the right day so ended up sitting in the post office over the weekend!

Whilst the quality of the product was excellent and the customer service was speedy and polite, the fact that my order was incorrect twice, is inexcusable. I had to have a refund in the end and I still do not have the correct item.

Previously I have been pleased with Appleyards. This time I have been badly messed about with the website, ordering process, login and payment ease. At the moment I feel unlikely to easily return to this frustration.

Flowers arrived for my mums 50th. Four lily heads were missing, one of which was rolling around in the box. The other 3 had obviously broken off before postage which is a little annoying as the lilies were the reason I bought this selection. Further to this, the day after receiving all of the daisy petals had withered and the roses were beginning to discolour. I did everything I should have to preserve these but they were dying when I received them. Some of the lilies never even fully bloomed. Really disappointed considering they were a £41 option. The size was also much smaller than expected seeing as I chose the largest option. Beautiful packaging but very disappointing flowers.

Asked to cancel half of my order my . I made mistake by ordering 2 lots of flowers to go 7 +12. Nothing was done very upset that you could do this costing me double money

Disappointed that order was held up by Royal Mail - would have preferred a courier company! Was informed of delay but would have appreciated confirmation when it was eventually delivered! Would not use again.

The whole purchase, service and delivery was poor. The flowers were not that nice, the customer service line staff are rude and I will never buy here again. I was promised an hour deliver slot which wasn't given and were not delivered at all

I responded to an offer in an RHS Members' gardening magazine which pictured a glorious, flower packed GRACE bouquet usually £54.99 but, by entering an RHS gift code, available at a saving of £25. It looked fabulous value so I ordered one for a friend who is ill thinking that such a wonderful display would really cheer her up. In total, including postage, I paid £29.99. When my friend posted a photo of the flowers on Facebook I was actually embarrassed - the flowers she received bore no resemblance whatsoever to those in the advert and on the website. It looked like a small posy & contained just seven single roses, a single stem of three white chrysanthemum flowers, two sets of berries & some greenery. No way would this ever have been £54.99 worth of flowers. Very, very disappointed. Not very impressed with the service. Although I requested that if the recipient of the flowers was not in at time of delivery to leave the flowers in a safe place and/or with the neighbour. The flowers were not left as requested and returned to Royal Mail depot for the recipient to collect and without the possibility of redelivering! For the cost of the flowers and service, I do not consider tge service to be premium and unlikely to use again.

website is hard to navigate. paid extra for delivery even though the flowers were delivered on the same day in the end. Not the best service

Everything was just fine except the fact that there was no postcard attached to flowers. Hotel says it wasn't there when the flowers arrived. I'm pretty sure that that's not your fault, but a hotel's (they might have lost it while carrying it to the room), but to me it really means a spoilt impression for a girl. The text was very important to both of us.

The roses died within 2 days, most of the petals on the other flowers had fallen off - This may have happened during transit. This was my first order with Appleyard, I will not be using you this service due to the feedback

I have ordered a few bunches of flowers and they generally have been good (albeit the bunches are small). However, I had some flowers sent to my Mother for Christmas and they only lasted a day. I was really embarrassed when I saw them, very disappointing that they did not last.

I placed an order 500040525, but the site crashed at the payment stage with a message saying payment not taken please try again (or similar) So I placed order 500040526. Exactly the same recipient and message. This time the payment went through but when I checked my emails I had a receipt for two bunches of flowers with the same message to the same person. I sent an email straight away to explain that clearly I only want one of the bunches of flowers and the order had duplicated in error. Two bunches of identical flowers were delivered.
