I recently was sent the summer punch bouquet from a dear friend on the death of my Dad. Unfortunately the flowers did not look that fresh on delivery, never flourished and the blooms never opened. I have been lucky enough to receive many bouquets in my life and this is the first time l was disappointed. I wasn’t going to take it further but having received an advert in my emails from Appleyard l decided l would write a review.

AVOID! This company is without doubt THE worst business that I've ever had the misfortune to deal with! Customer service is shocking, happily takes money but provides zero service! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Tried to order a very expensive bouquet for my sons engagement only to be told this was not available and to go to customer services for help . This is non existent and when asked if I needed help the “yes” option ignored my request - Attempted several times with no response No access to actual human interaction - Apalling customer service in fact no customer service whatsoever -And to think I paid to be a privileged member!! I have been a loyal customer but Never Again will I use Appleyard London .

I was sent an orchid as a present yesterday. It had wilted flowers, no new buds, and the soil core was bone dry. It was not rooted and fell out of the pot. I have an identical orchid, four years old, which cost me £6. When you buy an orchid it shoukd be rooted in the growing medium. This is very poor service. The telephone number I eventually found was not recognised. Very unsatisfactory. My daughter is dealing with my complaint.

Worst company I have dealt with, after sales is shocking, no replies to emails, whilst continuing to bombard with promotional emails. ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

Joined on subscription and first flowers were great the next 2 were shocking. First set came battered and in pieces so I got a credit to my account, used the £35 credit on a new bouquet and it came a day late, wasn’t what I ordered, in a box through my letterbox and literally was 5 stems worth about £10 at most. Customer service is only a live chat and they don’t really do much. Very disappointed in this service as it was a Christmas present

The quality of the flowers is impeccable, what disappointed me extremely was the fact that they were delivered very late, I chose to have them delivered on the day of the event and I expected them to be delivered by noon, but to my disappointment they were delivered at 20:30 p.m., when the event it was already finish and my surprise was delivered much too late for anyone to appreciate it!

I ordered a bouquet for my mum's birthday, but half of the flowers were already old and dying. It arrived yesterday, and these photos were taken on the same day. I'm very disappointed with the order. They aren't cheap flowers and the quality is not enough. enough.

AVOID - Didn't deliver Valentines Day or Mothers Day flowers! Ordered my Valentines Day and Mothers Day flowers in middle of January together as part of an offer on the website. Offer guaranteed delivery on Valentines Day and Mothers Day NEITHER turned up meaning I had to go out to the shops in order to have any flowers on the two most important flower days of the year. Obviously less than ideal Asked Appleyard to acknowledge this and provide compensation and they simply pointed me to their standard T&Cs. I tried to make the point to them that this is an exceptional case where they have failed to deliver on the two biggest days of the year but they were unwilling to acknowledge this or provide any further compensation. I don't normally write reviews but feel they should be held accountable as a flower company who can't deliver on Valentines Day and Mothers Day.

Flowers received really looked nothing like the picture on the website. So disappointed. This is about the 3rd time I’ve been let down by Appleyard. I wouldn’t use them again but I have paid for a privilege account with free delivery for a year so thought I would use that. It’s all very well having a happiness guarantee but I would prefer that the flowers were up to standard not to credit that means I then have to order again….

Avoid this company at all cost. I have ordered a birthday flower for next day delivery in London. I have even paid extra for early delivery. They told me the next day that they don`t have the item available, forcing me to take their offered product considering the timelines. I have told them that I need a delivery until 5 pm, which was confirmed. I have received a mail stating that the the flowers will be delivered between 21 and 22!!! Sorry but, who would like receive birthday flowers at 21/22!!

First time using Appleyard having used lots of other online next day florists before. Online imagery misrepresented the size and quality of the stems. Did not receive fresh flowers but rather ones already browning from age or storage, frankly supermarkets offer better. This was a particularly special occasion and didn’t feel I could gift these. Would not purchase again from Appleyard as Gabbie who replied from their customer services rather than making it right essentially said give it a few days and sorry we don’t do returns. In a few days they’ll be even more wilted! If they refuse a refund I’ll definitely contact my card issuer.

Paid £8.99 for guaranteed Mother’s Day delivery, which now says it will be delivered on Tuesday the 21st. Not the first time Appleyard have delivered late for me when requesting a specific date. Not offering a refund despite not getting what was ordered. Avoid at all costs

Ref order 500691343 . NOT DELIVERED. I don’t even want to give one star. Absolutely appalled. First we were told delivery would be by 9pm on Saturday. Incredibly late for starters. Then a message to say delivered 8pm. . It was NOT delivered to my mother and not even the correct address . An appalling text exchange with yodel at 9pm which I will share with Appleyard customer service. These were Mother’s Day flowers planned well in advance. Ordered via the BA.com shop so I will also be sending full details to them about the terrible service annd recommending they remove Appleyard from there shop. I will never order from apple yard again.

Ordered roses for valentines day, even paid the extra for morning delivery but didn't arrive. Spent an hour on hold trying to get through to someone on there Web chat finally did and they offered me a refund of the postage which I declined and asked for a full refund which were happy to do. Unfortunately ruined the day for my wife but I'm still alive so we move on

I used to have excellent service from Appleyard London, but this year things changed, my flowers were not delivered on Valentine’s day nor on the next day, and the best the could do was say sorry and give me credit in my Appleyard account ! Instead of actually refunding the money to my card ! Their quality of customer service has declined significantly in the past year !!
