Disgusted with this company. Ordered flowers for delivery today. They emailed to let me know they've been dispatched but the delivery company, Yodel, hadn't received them. No response to several emails. They were for a birthday, not the day after ot even a future date. Please don't rely on this company. They'll let you down.

UPDATE: They have asked me to update my review now they have "resolved" my complaint. Complaint NOT resolved, will never use again. A relief to us both, I'm sure. Firstly, the review system is a scam. The only way to leave a review is to click that you are happy and it brings you here. If you click that you are not happy, it takes you to their website. For my third order in a row I have been let down. Instead of a hat box hamper with loads of chocolate items, my friends is getting x4 Lindt mini bars. WHAT?????? THIS IS DISGUSTING!!!! You have ruined her birthday, my gift and you have ripped us off. You should be ashamed. Disgusting company. Also, you can't phone. No phone number available, just a form and they only get back to you if they feel like it so if there is an urgent problem like "cancel that insulting gift because I'll be ashmed" then TOUGH!!!!

I am very disappointed. I sent flowers and chocolates to my girlfriend, but she contacted me to say that the flowers had arrived wilted and were already dying. She was very disappointed and upset, so I find this extremely disappointing as well. I also contacted customer service, but I have not received any reply. I chose Appleyard because of its reviews and the beautiful appearance of the bouquets, so it is truly disappointing that my first purchase turned out this way

I first purchased from this company over 10 years ago. The last few orders have been disastrous. Flowers went missing in post. Credit raised against account and replacements orders. Wrong flowers arrived, credit raised account replacements ordered. Flowers arrived in terrible condition. Credit raised. Deceived to use the credit and try again. Died flowers arrived. Credit raised on account. Decided to share my experience on this review. Email received....."We would therefore recommend using a supplier in the future that can be trusted to fulfil your expectations better, rather than entrust us with your custom only for us to disappoint. Flowers are an emotional gift intended to bring joy to the recipient. Customers place us in a position of trust in their relationships. When we feel we are not worthy of that position, we would rather not have the responsibility." So avoid disappointment from a company that acknowledges they are unable deliver and use an alternative that can. In addition they have withdrawn all the credit on my breaching their flower guarantee. Avoid avoid avoid.

On 14th March a box of flowers which was ordered by my grand daughter was just left in the foyer downstairs upside down. The hairdresser brought the box upto me. On opening the box most of the stems were out of the sachet but there was too.much greenery. The roses looked half dead also the lilies I cut the stems and left them in water I rose actually opened and 1 bud of a lily.I was.so disgusted to think that my granddaughter had spent money on the quality of your flowers My daughter bought me 3 stems of lilies from M/S THEY LASTED 10 DAYS I purchased 4 stems from Asda for under £8 which lasted me for 9 days.the delivery was made by yodel again another disappointing result which gives myself my daughter and her daughter no faith in using your company ever again. I rang and sent an Email which failed.I think the decent thing to do is to reimburse my granddaughter Beth McCullen.

Terrible experience over the last few months. Ordered a bunch of flowers for Valentine’s Day which were not cheap and they came wilting. They apologised and sent me credit for this issue and I then went to use the credit on another bunch for my wife’s birthday. These flowers didn’t even turn up, got a message from the delivery company saying they were out for delivery in the morning and then within an hour this changed to order unsuccessful and made it seem that they couldn’t deliver as it was my fault, which was not the case as I had checked on the cameras and they later confirmed that the flowers didn’t even make it on the can for delivery. Spoke to the delivery company and they fobbed me off and told me they are trying to rectify the issue and made it seem like the were doing everything they could, all for them to cancel the complete delivery soon after. Have not heard from the delivery company or Appleyard on this matter. I’m someone who spends a lot on flowers every year for occasions and I have to say there are definitely better companies out there, that deliver on time and have better quality flowers. Please consider before making any orders with themselves as this is what these review are for, hope this helps.

Ordered using a credit for previous poor quality flowers sent to a friend. To be safe was being delivered to my address so could check ok first. Yodel have not delivered and despite emailing and trying to contact Appleyard have only had an automated response. Have now claimed another credit which is getting bigger each time they have to credit me for poor quality or non delivery. I will soon have a massive credit but won't ever get to use it because nothing will ever get delivered. Replacement flowers have arrived.

If I could give zero stars I would. Once more now making it 3 consecutive late order arrivals missing special individual occasions despite all orders giving plenty of notice. £10 credit on each past failure but still real ineptness. I don’t normally post reviews but my personal experience means I will no longer use this company nor recommend. Martin R 30/3/26

600619355 I ordered the flowers in good faith. Not only did they not bloom but I had to buy the flowers from elsewhere for the party . I didn’t get a refund but a store credit . Why would I want a store credit. It’s like me buying vouchers for the future . And what makes them feel I will risk another purchase ever again given they take your money and cannot deliver and give store credit if they can’t fulfill . Surely it should be a full refund into my account for a purchase that was not fulfilled. And there are no contact numbers or email to directly get in touch . This is so unprofessional and the last time I’m using this service

So upset, my children surprised me with a bouquet of Red roses for Mother’s Day but to my surprise there’s discolouration & the roses were drying up the next day despite following all the instructions to treat it & put it in a vase. My children’s money wasted for a discoloured Red roses

My daughter sent me a bouquet for Mother’s Day. When I opened the box, I thought the roses were a lovely colour but a bit dry. The lilies looked a bit withered but I thought they would recover when put in a vase. The next day, some of the rose heads had drooped and by the second day, they all looked dry and droopy. None of the lilies opened. I didn’t want my daughter to think I was ungrateful for the gift so I didn’t ask her to complain. The bouquet arrived on Sunday and I threw the flowers away on Thursday. I hate to think how much they cost my daughter - such a waste of her money. I would not buy flowers from Appleyard and I am sure I am not the only dissatisfied recipient of that particular bouquet.

I’ve always been happy with my flowers and plants from here. However I’m not happy now. The wrong orchid was sent , so I emailed them several times without a proper reply. Day 4 and still waiting for the problem to be resolved. The wrong orchid that was sent has nearly finished flowering and is the type and colour. It was meant to be a present for tomorrow.

For the love of God never use this appalling company, ordered my mother flowers for mothers day. They arrived three days late, and mostly dead. We were offered a refund, but no apology. This is by far the worst company that i have ever had the misfortune to use. Absolutely pathetic.

Bought a £38 bouquet with roses and lilys being the main parts. The roses were small and started dropping petals within a couple of days without ever really opening. Much of the smaller flowers / foilage was crushed with stems broken in transit. And 9 days later the lilys still haven't opened! Bouquet never looked anything other than a bit sad and pathetic! I would attach photos to the review but the website fails to upload the files.

Awful. Paid extra for the priority delivery as advertised on the website. Tracker said they would arrive by 3pm, then watched the live tracker park by Mcdonalds for 3hrs and the flowers arrived just before 8pm. Not what I paid for and was not even offered a refund for the postage. Would not ever use again.

I ordered £100 of flowers over 2 bouquets. I had selected a delivery date 1 week in advance as my parents won't be around. Un-be known to me the 2nd bouquet defaulted to a 'next day' delivery, therefore we have £80 worth of flowers rotting on a doorstep: Agent offered a 40% refund which whilst appreciated does not resolve the issue fully which would be a fresh box to arrive on the day off expected delivery. This was my first time and last time using apple yard please be aware of check out process for multiple bouquets and the 100% satisfaction g'tee which is not 100%!

Absolute joke, failed to despatch flowers despite plenty of notice, they did not tell me there was an issue until midday on the day of delivery. They then assured me they were sent on a same day courier, they LIED, the flowers did not arrive the day they were supposed to. They caused distress and upset during birthday celebrations. In the end I had to source flowers from a local florist at 22:30 and go and collect them. Did not respond to emails when questioned. When you order flowers from a company it's usually for a special reason, some good and some bad, they have no interest in providing a good service or product. It's usually a very important reason why flowers are ordered and they don't seem to understand that. Awful company. I will be issuing small claims court proceedings against them for my refund and the replacement flowers I had to go can purchase.I would give them zero stars if it were an option. See you in court! DO NOT USE. DISGUSTED
