Disgusted with the flowers. I threw most away. The carnations were grey where the mauve colour had faded as they were so old. I had to pull petals off the roses as they were so brown. I contacted customer service via live chat, sent pics and no one got back to me. The flowers were for a celebrity with over half a million twitter followers, it’s safe to say her birthday flowers were a massive disappointment and totally embarrassing for me.

I hate to complain but I sent my Mum flowers for Mothers Day and she said they were very poor when they arrived. They had been posted by Royal Mail so they seemed very dried out and badly wilted and crushed in the box.

You failed to deliver 2 separate Mother's Day orders on time (they didn't arrive until Monday) & when they did turn up the flowers were already badly wilted 🥀 With brown edges to the petals.

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day... my mum received them and was very disappointed. The roses were half brown, they looked very old, and the flowers were very droopy like they had not been watered. I emailed the company straight away with photos and have still not had any response from them. The flowers look nothing like what is on the website. This was the first time and last I will order from apple yard!

This was the worst delivery company imaginable. The flowers that I ordered for my sisters birthday did not arrive AT ALL. I even paid extra, to have them delivered on the exact date. My sister had to contact the company THREE TIMES, after which they were not able to give her a clear answer of what had gone wrong. I am still waiting for the money that I paid for the flowers to be refunded to me. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Tried to order some Mother's Day flowers 10 days early, and even now their website can't cope! Absolutely useless...yet another company who hasn't understood anything about IT infrastructure or consumer demand and who clearly don't have a contingency. If you are a business that relies on people buying something from your website, and yet your website doesn't work, you don't have a business. Have spent my £50 elsewhere.....won't stay in business very long unless they sort this mess out.

Flowers took two days to deliver, delivery service was awful. We paid £28.00 for a bouquet, which when arrived consisted of four white roses (one dead), two lillies and a sprig of spray. I would have received more flowers purchasing a bunch from the garage for £10. I wrote to customer services to complain and yet have to hear back from them.

Flowers did not arrive on the day expected. I called the customer service, who didn't know where the order was. In the meantime, 4 days in transit for FLOWERS!!!!!! I asked a refund and the customer service told me that they would have to call the person who was supposed to receive the flowers to confirm whether they had got it or not (!!!!). It's a formal professional relationship I have with the person who was supposed to receive the flowers, so I found that totally inadequate. Appleyard should know where the orders are and what happened to them. Extremely disappointed. I order online all the time and the companies ALWAYS know what happened to the orders. Really bad service

Ordered bouquet for very special birthday which was in a sunday. Received email from Appleyard on friday pm saying they could not fulfill my order and would i like them to send a different bouquet, i emailed back saying please send something as it was too late to order elsewhere. Received a text saying my order would be delivered saturday am. No flowers arrived. Why dont you phone people instead of email!

I ordered a £26 Letterbox Vanilla bouquet to be delivered to a sick friend on 12 Jan. Flowers dead when arrived.Advised Appleyard who insisted would only deal with complaint if photographic evidence provided. Told them recipient too ill to be asked to provide this, subsequently she had to return to hospital that day and is still there. I was not asking for refund just fresh flowers to be sent. Told it was Company Policy to only deal with complaints supported by photographic evidence. Again advised of situation but to date NO further reply. Made to feel as if my complaint was not genuine. Would NEVER deal with them again or recommend. All this despite their 'Seven Day Freshness Guarantee'. Surely their supplier knows the quality of flowers being sent and a reputable company would accept a customers complaint in good faith. Very very disappointing and embarrassing.

While photographic evidence is useful for us to improve, it isn't necessary to process a complaint. Apologies that you were advised this. I will ask someone on the team to speak with you about this

Ordered flowers 15th Jan for next day delivery. Told person to expect a felivery on their birthday - 16th. They waited in all day flowers did not arrive. They waited in all morning of the 17th still no flower delivery. Finally just after 1pm they arrived delivered by Royal Mail. Disappointingly not the pale pink roses and white scented lilies but bright pink roses and maroon lilies. Uck what a colour combination. Despite sending 2 emails to Appleyard flowers on their contact page I have had no response. Using Royal Mail for flowers just doesnt work 2 very disappointed people here and alot of time wasted over what was to be a lovely gift. I will not use them again.

I ordered flowers to be delivered in December, as as 'thank you ' for a important occasion. I have now found that because the flowers I ordered were out of stock, the delivery was sent a MONTH later. I have been told it was a larger bouquet than I ordered by way of compensation, but I had no idea the flowers had not been delivered and it is completely UNACCEPTABLE to a delay a thank you by a month. I shall not be using Appleyard Flowers again. Incidentally my first order with Appleyard was left on the recipient's doorstep - even thought she was at home and would have heard the doorbell.

Have used Appleyard successfully for 2 years until now. They cancelled order due to shortish of stock 2 hours before services closed. By luck I saw e-mail @ 4.50pm, called number , -customer care said she would reimburse fee plus give e-mail confirmation. No confirmation e-mail followed.. 3 days later still no response. Posted request on their contact page. - NO REPLY. - Replied to their cancellation response, - still no reply and still no refund. I'm now out of pocket by £46. Thinking Trading Standards will get a call by 13th January,

Apologies, you were offered a refund, but it was processed as store credit. This was rectified shortly afterwards.

Ordered a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine as a thank you for a friend. I found out that the wine had not been delivered, I was not informed of this by Appleyard flowers and I had received an email to say that the order had been delivered. When I contacted customer services they could not deliver the wine for several days and could only offer me a refund. Have now just heard that the flowers have died before the seven day guarantee was up. Do not order from them under any circumstances.

Unfortunately we did not know the wine was missing until we were notified. You have also had a replacement bouquet for the flowers not lasting, as per the 7 day guarantee. Apologies again for the inconvenience.

A crooked, amateurish company. I placed an important order for next day delivery of a plant. I heard nothing from the recipient, and no email from Appleyard. I could not contact Appleyard so I contacted my credit card company, who told me that payment had been taken. So I emailed Appleyard to ask for the missing email confirmation. 6 days later, I receive a reply saying that the order was not dispatched yet. The recipients have gone unthanked for 6 days when they were supposed to be thanked for their kindness the next day. Further, two of the recipients are no longer in the country. I am yet again unable to reach Appleyard. This is a crooked company - do not fall for the nice website design, it does not reflect the company.

We agree this was really poor. The order not processing should have been picked up on more quickly. Someone is calling you now regarding this.
