Horrible flowers arrived on Mother's day, tried to email them but noone answered. Completely different from the snazzy photos, also they missed out some flowers that should have been included in the bouquet. Paid a premium price for a not so premium bouquet, it was like supermarket flowers! Will not be able to rely on them again.

The delivery service was good but I was disappointed with the flowers as they had started to wilt.

Flowers arrived in very poor condition, took over a week to respond to my complaint and still yet to receive my complementary bunch. Yes I may have got good deal via cash back but the customer service has been appalling and inexcusable

Nice flowers but a bit over priced and terrible costomer care. Tried multiple times to get in touch about delivery. After calling/email several times, finally received an email 3 days after the flowers were delivered to say they couldn't help. I won't be returning

You guaranteed the flowers would last at least 7 days when I purchased them, however they barely lasted 5 and were dead by the end of the week. Very disappointed considering how much I paid for them

I would rather not write a review as I am truly disappointed that the gift I ordered flowers and wine was not complete. I understand that Grace received the flowers but the wine was missing. I also wrote two emails but no response from your company. This makes me very reluctant to use your company in the future. Sorry. I felt embarrassed,

Ordered flowers for my mum for Mother's Day and specified to leave them on the doorstep if she wasn't home. They were not left on the doorstep and returned to the post office where my mum couldn't get to for 2 days, in which time they had died as weren't kept in water at the post office! So I basically sent my mum dead flowers for Mother's Day oops!!

I was so disappointed with both deliveries. I thought for the amount of money paid that they would not come squashed in a box. I thought that there would have been more flowers included than what there were so when the delivery came it looked quite miserable. I'm glad that I had the flowers delivered to me first so that I could try and make them look a bit healthier. I'm so sorry for the negative review but I was really unpleasantly surprised.

I was a bit disapointed to be honest. I paid for delivery before noon and the flowers arrived at 1.30. I did get a refund when I complained, but I was initially only offered a part refund in vouchers. And the flowers, whilst they looked lovely, they only lasted a couple of days. They weren't cheap - so I expected a bit more. Shame

Whilst the flowers were delivered within the requested timeframe, the bouquet had already started to decay within 24 hours of their arrival. This is despite having them placed in the presentation jug containing water. I am still awaiting a response from Customer Services regarding this matter.

I was satisfied it was delivered as arranged, however the orchid I ordered was meant to be in a white ceramic pot with love heart on it. It was in a standard metal pot. I have tried to contact by telephone several times but holding on line for about ten mins each time ! I would appreciate you looking into this and sending the ceramic love heart pot to the delivery address please

Most of the flowers were wilting when they arrived and the whole arrangement dead after 3 days.

Unfortunately the flowers that were delivered were dying already which was very disappointing particularly as they were a present for somebody. I was told that they should come back to life if the care instructions are followed. Whilst this might be the case first impressions always count and it wasn't great for the person receiving them. Flowers should always arrive fresh. I had a further order the same week and fortunately these also arrived in the same condition which was equally disappointing. After spending some considerable time trying to get in touch and get a response from Appleyard I have now received a full refund. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing any further flowers from them due to the quality and difficulty trying to get in touch with their customer service team.

I ordered two £40 bouquets for mother's day, both looked like they'd seen better days.

The flowers were ok, but disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a flower vase/pot which came broken. It leaked water. Since then I have emailed and tried to call to get a refund but have had no response what's so ever. Won't be using this company again. Very disappointed considering the amount charged for the Mother's Day flowers gift set.

The flowers were lovely but unfortunately did not last. The roses died after 4 days. I tried twice to email Appleyard about this using the link on the website, but on both occasions the email bounced back to me.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day, the bouquet delivered was not what I had ordered. I have emailed customer services twice since then, 2 weeks later and I am still waiting on a response. Although very beautiful flowers, poor customer service.

I ordered 2 Mother's Day gifts from Appleyard and both were sub-standard. The first was a Rosebud bouquet. I opted for the "chic" size at a price of £31. Mother in law called to say it was very pretty. Father in law made another "apologetic" call to my husband to say that he thought we ought to know the truth. The leaves were covered in white spot mould and the roses were on their last legs. I emailed customer service who responded asking for pictures which I immediately sent. Only to hear nothing back. A week went by and I called Customer Service. Waited on hold on a premium rate number for a minimum of 15 minutes 3 times and each time was cut off. So I turned to Twitter where a helpful "Katie" from Appleyard quickly resolved the issue by giving a refund. The 2nd was a White Double Orchid. My mum was initially delighted when it arrived. She said it was well packaged and beautiful. I decided to make a surprise visit to her and was horrified to see one flower remaining. She said they'd all dropped off within a few days and she was planning to go and get another Orchid so that I didn't know what had happened! Again I turned immediately to Katie via Twitter who issued a refund. Whilst I have my money back, it's disappointing that both gifts were so poor and my recipients were embarrassed that I had to find out. For a business that's got great brands recommending them and amazing images on their website, the end result does not live up to the expectations that creates. I wonder if they've bitten off more than they can chew? Perhaps they should stop giving money off offers to attract more customers and be content with providing superior quality for customers that are prepared to pay a little more for a promise of excellence.

The flowers received were substandard and died very quickly. The lillies never flowered and remained closed. I have emailed the customer service team to complain about the quality and have not even received an acknowledgement, will definitely not be using this company again
