“Beautiful flowers however didn't seem to last that long, Mother's Day was my second attempt at seeing if they lasted more than 6 days (Valentine's Day was my first attempt), but sadly no. Not sure if i'll be using Appleyard again which is a shame as the flowers are lovely!”

“The flowers and chocolates were beautiful, however the delivery didn't go according to plan. Despite ordering the Mother's Day bouquet, the flowers were dispatched immediately and then, despite delivery instructions to leave in a safe place, they were returned to a sorting office. It is unfortunate when the recipient of a gift has to go and collect it, especially when she is in her 70's! But she loved the flowers and chocolates so it was an overall success.”

“itz good that they deliver on a Sunday too. I had a trial Voucher that gave 50 percent off but still felt for what I got the price I paid was right. I wouldn't be paying full price for them unless I'm desperate”

“I was generally impressed with the flowers I received although both arrived the day after my ideal date (I know it said it could arrive either a day before or after but still disappointing). The flowers were very nice but one lily was damaged. Overall very good.”

“Very pretty and the roses were particularly beautiful, full and a very pretty nostalgic peach/pink shade. The 'filler' berry type foliage had a strong, curry smell which was a shame and the bouquet only lasted 5 days.”

“Lovely flowers bought as a Mothers Day gift for my wife. Although some of the blooms started to go over very quickly, others were just opening so overall got reasonable life. Delivery driver just left on doorstep despite us being in.”

“Ordering the flowers was a very easy process. The link to the online tracking worked very well and I was able to keep up to date with where the order was. The flowers were for a Mothers Day gift and i was told they were lovely. I only saw a photo of them and my criticism would be that the foliage seemed to outweigh the flowers even though i had booked the larger size. Would be happy to use in the future.”

“As the buyer, one has no idea what the flowers were like or what condition they arrived in so you should try to reap feedback from the recipient. No-one receiving a gift will complain to the giver about anything- they will probably say they were lovely in any event so the buyer is not the best person to ask. In terms of the purchase process the site is easy to navigate although I wasn't ever totally sure of the difference between postal or delivery flowers- until I subsequently tried to spend your voucher and couldn't. I couldn't be bothered to work it out so didn't order more to use the voucher. The sizes are difficult to understand and it seem a bit vague not to show pictures of each size one can buy. This looks rather shifty in my opinion- sharp practice often devalues the customer experience in some ways and is rather disappointing. Also being forced to buy flowers in a particular vase or jug is just annoying frankly and the choices seemed rather lacking in taste compared to the rest of your offer. I chose Appleyard because I had received some from a friend and thought the packaging and the wrapping paper inside appeared quite up-market and the flowers were in good condition. Opening them was a pleasure- the paper looks and sounds good and although I normally think carnations are rather naff, yours were very unusual, vintage looking and more chic than ordinary ones. A little more foliage might have been useful for arranging purposes and would make the result appear more luxurious. The price point starts at a very affordable place and the notion of 'inexpensive but upmarket' is appealing and makes them potentially a regular go-to treat rather than a once in a blue moon extravagance. I will definitely come to you again.”
