I BOOKED A TIME SLOT which I have an email to prove now they're saying I didn't I'm not happy as I had to rely on theses people due to being desabled, they were late and rude.. And I'm out of pocket 79 pounds not happy don't use anyvan unless you wanna get ripped off

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. We booked for collection between 10 and 12 as we had to hand our keys to the estate agent by 1pm. We had a phone call from the driver at 11.20am to say they had another job to do and would be with us within the hour, where I explained again we had to vacate the house and hand the keys in by 1pm. I called the driver to ask where they were at 12 as they hadn't answered previous texts and was told they had an issue with a tyre and a supervisor should have called me, but we had not heard anything, at 1.05pm I spoke to someone on live chat and they said they would sort it out with the driver asap. I text the driver again and had no reply and when I rang the driver he didn't answer or call me back. After paying £809 to have a company not turn up at all on an already stressful day is beyond unacceptable, especially as they didn't even have the decency to let us know. I will be seeking a full refund as the company did not supply us with any service at all and if there is no refund offered, I will be taking it to small claims as we had to spend £650 to get another company to move us last minute or we wouldn't have been able to complete our sale and we would have incurred fines. How any company could treat their customers in this way leaving them high and dry is absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs!!!

MUST READ! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, THIS COMPANY IS A WASTE OF SPACE, TIME AND MONEY. FIND INDIVIDUAL MAN & VAN INSTEAD. TLDR (DO NOT USE): - They outsource to individual labourers/driver who aren't trained to handle objects. - Crazy fee - Abysmal insurance compenstation. I used AnyVan for a move from London to Manchester, which is about a 5 hours drive. The price was £1700 but the issue is, they just "provided" me with individual Labourers who have no association with AnyVan except get paid by them. Think of AnyVan as a recruitment company, you aren't associated with the recruiter, but they connect you with employers. You can easily find Man & Van who would be willing to do the job for around 25% the price, which means AnyVan is putting an insane fee on top. Additionally, as the labourers aren't trained, they took WAY TOO long to load/offload and my wife and I ended up having to help with the full loading and unloading. You'd think with such a fee, there would be decent insurance provided for a peace of mind. But unfortuately that's not the case. A few products got damaged during transit, and during the claiming process, the max they would pay out is £45. Honestly at that price, I was expecting AnyVan to provide decently trained professionals who know how to handle products. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, THIS COMPANY IS A WASTE OF SPACE, TIME AND MONEY. FIND INDIVIDUAL MAN & VAN INSTEAD.

What went right? Didn't deliver on the agreed time OR DAY!! Had to constantly phone the company to find out what was happening! Was passed from one operator to another who did nothing!! Except one Lady called "Bee" who got me sorted,my driver was called George -Alex absolutely 200 percent finally getting my car to me, great guy, ANY VAN ? No Way.

Thoroughly Disappointed with AnyVan I’ve used AnyVan several times before, but this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. My items were collected before 9 AM this morning, yet it is now 8 PM, and they have still not arrived, well past the promised delivery timeframe. Around 6:30 PM, I received a call stating the van had broken down. While I understand that breakdowns can happen and are beyond the driver's control, the only suggestion offered was to deliver my items the next day. This was unacceptable as all of my belongings were already in that van. When I contacted customer service, they were completely inflexible and unwilling to provide any alternatives or compensation. I even offered to arrange transport myself (via a van or Ubers) if they could reimburse me, but this was outright refused. It’s baffling that AnyVan doesn’t seem to have contingency plans, such as emergency drivers, for situations like this. The most frustrating part of this ordeal was dealing with the manager, Marcell. His tone was unprofessional and dismissive, giving the impression that he didn’t care to resolve the issue. He cited company policy as the reason they couldn’t use alternative transport methods like Ubers or vans, yet they allowed the driver to use a personal contact to transport my items, which also isn’t in line with their policy. To make matters worse, Marcell told me the delivery would arrive within one hour, but the driver estimated three hours. This inconsistency only added to the chaos. I spent over an hour on the phone and three hours on their online chat, where responses took up to 40 minutes each time. This entire experience has caused me extreme stress, and the lack of accountability or empathy from AnyVan has been appalling. For a company I’ve trusted multiple times before, this was an unacceptable failure. Clearly their services are going downhill and starting to lack. spend a little more money and use another service because you will not get compensated or any inch of empathy if anything happens to the van. I actually have respect for the driver to do all he can to deliver my stuff. I'm sure he will not get compensated for this either. Given the significant delay, the stress caused, and the complete mishandling of the situation, I expect a full refund or appropriate compensation for this ordeal. Anything less would further damage my trust in your service and confirm your disregard for customer satisfaction.

I was scammed so many times when I had issues with recovering my funds in my account, instead of helping out they kept on telling me to keep putting money in it which I never had access to ,until I met Astra Buglass Teams. AnyVan's one job is to move items safely and securely from A to B. My items arrived damaged and broken, and they lost several of my boxes. I went through a long and miserable process of back and forth emails/phone calls re missing items, which they did not want to compensate me for. The Customer Care team is rude, unhelpful, and deliberately obstructive. Avoid using this company.

Awful, awful, awful. Turned up hours late, didn't have any equipment (no trolley and the van didn't have a lift on the back). It was honestly like they'd never moved anything before! The whole experience made my home move considerably more stressful. Avoid!

Good Afternoon, We do apologise you are unhappy with the service provided, and for the late coming of your driver. Upon review, we can see a partial refund has been issued for the missed time slot. In relation to Transport Providers lack of equipment, although it is advisable that Transport Providers carry trolleys, this would only be necessary should there be a considerable walking distance, or any items which are particularly heavy. Avoid this removal firm at all costs. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. They extorted an extra 50% charge because of a minor error in the moving date, showing zero flexibility or willingness to compromise. Then, during the move, they destroyed my £500 chest of drawers, only to blame me, claiming it was “cheap furniture” and not real wood—an insulting and baseless excuse to dodge accountability. When I attempted to file an insurance claim, it was outright rejected without any chance to discuss my side. The company relied entirely on the movers’ dishonest claims that the item was “already broken” and even blamed a supposed “previous removal team”—which was laughable, as I had moved it myself in pristine condition. The claims process was a joke, designed to leave customers helpless while they cover their own incompetence. The movers themselves were a disgrace—rude, careless, and completely unprofessional. They communicated exclusively in a foreign language, making it impossible to understand what was happening in my own home. They handled my belongings with zero care, rushed through the entire process, and repeatedly said they had another job to get to, as though my move was an inconvenience to them. This company is dishonest, exploitative, and staffed by unprofessional workers who have no respect for your property or your time. If you value your sanity and your possessions, steer well clear of this sham of a business.

Good Afternoon, We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your AnyVan experience. Upon review, we can see you had requested to change the date of the move, one day prior to the date of the booking. AnyVan does offer flexibility with date changes, however, should you wish to reschedule within 48 hours, fees are due as AnyVan have already made plans with our Providers to fulfil the booking on the day specified. In relation to the damages reported, we can see that the team have requested relevant evidence such as images prior to the move, and proof of purchases. Unfortunately, as the relevant evidence has not been supplied, and the items were collected from a storage unit, we were unable to verify that the damages were caused as a result of the move. I moved two-bedroom house with AnyVan, from one city to a storage unit at another. Everything was ok initially, although they scammed me into paying additional charges on the day, on various things like eg boxes being not made from cardboard but plastic. The big problems started at the destination, as the drivers refused to carry the items there, even though they supposed to move them in the room I'd instruct them to, claiming that AnyVan booked them for another move too fast and they had to leave me with everything in front of my storage warehouse. They then spent an hour on nothing - waiting for AnyVan to contact them to confirm that they could, in their grace, ''help' me with moving things they were contracted to move. They then just left everything on trolleys in front of my storage and left while I had to move almost everything myself. This is not to mention all the other additional on-the-day charges such as £100 for the drivers walking 30 rather than 20 meters and them living mess in my bathroom. This was an absolutely unpleasant experience and I will never use AnyVan again. I've been trying to get this sorted for a few months now and they - only recently - offered to pay back ~8% of what I paid but I find this ridiculous and am now opening the case with ombudsmen etc..

AnyVan is an inventory based company, therefore, the cost you pay is based on the items which have been listed. Should additional items be present, our Transport Providers will accommodate these should they have the space to do so, however, additional charges would apply. We can see from the list of additional items supplied, this also included an extra Sofa Bed, which had not been accounted for. They damaged my bed by losing parts of it. That's 2 months ago. And all they've said is. It's my responsibility to get quotes to fix it. And when they left they KNEW they'd done it !

Cannot recommend avoiding this company enough - awful awful awful. Would give them 0 stars if there was an option. Don’t bother requesting a time slot as they will not stick to it. Our van was meant to arrive between 10 and 12 and turned up at 4. Company kept quoting that we pay for a day not a time slot so there’s nothing they could do about this delay. When the men got to our new home with our belongings they wore muddy shoes into our brand new house leaving stains all over the carpet. When we contacted any van they said there was nothing they could do as we had not requested the men wear shoe coverings prior to them arriving and that it was our responsibility to cover our carpets to keep them clean. I’ve never heard of something so rubbish. Avoid avoid avoid. Pay the extra money and hire a proper removals company - it’ll save you money and time in the long run. Any van added stress to our moving day, not took it away like their website guarantees.

In summary, absolutely horrific service and if I could give it 0 stars I would. If you want a service where they turn up 3 and a half hours late for a house move, one of the ‘removal’ guys tries to fight with you when they eventually arrive, turn up in a hire van, don’t have any straps/protections/covers/overshoes and use your own duvets and sheets to try and protect belongings, damage several items in transit, damage your new house and then offer you £150 compensation and £45 damages then AnyVan is definitely the company for you. I moved house on Friday 18/10/2024 and arranged the removal through AnyVan. The scheduled time for the arrival of the van was from 1000-1200 hours. By 1230 hours it hadn’t arrived so I phoned the driver, who didn’t answer. They then arrived at 1330 hours and, on the 2 males getting out of the van, I asked them where they had been. One of them held his arms out in an aggressive manner and asked me twice if I ‘wanted to go’. If you’re not from Glasgow, this is local language for asking another person if they want to engage in a stand up fight. I asked him if that was any way to be speaking to a customer and he aggressively asked me if I just wanted them to take the van away. Obviously I did not want this to happen as I was in the middle of a chain of families moving house. My wife, on hearing raised voices, has then came to the front door and asked the guy who he thought he was talking to, and he was aggressive with her as well. He quickly calmed down and apologised, advising he had some bad news earlier in the day. They had arrived in an AK Van Hire vehicle. This is a West of Scotland based hire van company. On opening up the van, I noticed that they had no straps, covers, protections and only 1 pair of overshoes. During the course of the move they used MY duvets, sheets and towels to try and protect my own items! They then asked me if I could fit anything in a van that I had hired. I had filled this up the previous day with garden/garage items and didn’t pay AnyVan over £700 for them to then use a van I’d paid to hire in addition to this service. They then asked if I could help by bringing items down from upstairs. In what world does someone pay for a removal company and then get asked to help out with the work?! By the end of it I effectively did 1/3 of the work myself. The move took 2 runs as they turned up in a van too small for a 4 bedroom house move. By the time I got to the new property they had already started unloading. My mother-in-law was present and repeatedly told one of them to stop putting boxes on a radiator cover in the hall next to the front door. Nevertheless, he ignored her and kept doing it, damaging the cover in the process. The van was soaking from rain and wet shoes and the amount of items damaged, marked or broken due to insufficient covers/protections/straps is quite frankly ridiculous. The damage caused was - 1. Chip to a living room cabinet 2. Chip to radiator cover in new house 3. Chip to kitchen door in new house 4. Mark on a pink armchair 5. Marks on sofa 6. Marks on a single bed frame 7. Marks on a double bed frame 8. Smashed crystal wedding glasses 9. Smashed pint glasses 10. Smashed whisky glasses 11. Damaged coffee cups 12. Damaged deer ornament 13. Damaged nutri ninja lid 14. Damaged bedroom chest of drawers For the damage to the radiator cover in the new house, they suggested a bit of Tip-Ex would fix it. Is that really a professional approach to damaging a customers property? I know they were trying to be funny, but that was neither the time nor the place. The claims team have offered me £45 for the damages. Apparently I can’t prove that I didn’t pack broken glasses?! So, they’re at fault for some damage but not at fault for other damage? I was initially offered £20 compensation for them turning up late. This has been increased to £150 by their customer service team. To summarise, avoid at all costs.

AVOID AT ANY COST This company must not be allowed to trade!!! I had the most traumatic removal experience with AnyVan removal company.Before I booked removal of all my items on 5/10/24 I had an hour long chat with Sadeeka and discussed in detail all of my items and sent the photos of my items to her. She quoted £1215 to have all of my items removed on 5/10/24 . However on the day of the removal unbeknown to myself the drivers were instructed to fill only 25 boxes. When they arrived they told me that is all they going to do. So after they filled 25 small size boxes they simply left me stranded in the flat. In despair I called AnyVan to find out what on earth had gone wrong with ghe booking and why the drivers only filled 25 boxes . Anaesthesia from the AnyVan customer service told me that they needed to investigate this and that it would take 48 hours before they could get back to me. I was in tears with my head in my hands . I was pleading with them to complete the removal . Crying on the phone , telling them that I had been left stranded by the drivers who came in the morning and left the property by 1 pm not completing the removal. Anaesthesia told me that the only way to complete the removal of all my items was to pay extra money on top of what I had already paid, She quoted me additional £1300 for all of my items to be removed and to complete the removal on 5/10/24 I needed to leave the property . I had a flight booked with BA. I was in tears. I was desperate and felt pushed into a corner by AnyVan with no choice . In desperation I felt pushed to pay extra £1300 to complete the removal on the same day. Again AnyVan sent the drivers around 5 pm. However , and AGAIN they were instructed to fill 75 small to medium size boxes. They were also instructed to come with a drill to take my bed frame down. However, they turned up without a drill. Most of them did not speak English and told me they were from Romania . I watched them throw my valuable items into the boxes , then close half empty boxes . They also broke my bed frame. I was devastated . In tears . To my horror , they left not completing the removal!!! Again leaving me stranded for the 2nd time on the same day after I paid almost £3000!!!! I was completely devastated. Unable to leave the property !! I also ended up missing my BA flight and having to reschedule it and pay the extra fee!!! I slept on the floor that night . On 6/10/2024 I found an emergency removal company who completed the removal . As a result of all this I developed an asthma exacerbation and a chest infection I am still recovering from. AnyVan removal company responded to my complaint by saying they could not trace my telephone conversation with Sadeeka/Anaesthesia and refused to give me the refund. AnyVan company are underhand, dangerous and should not be allowed to be in business. To date they have refused to give me my money back or cover the cost of the broken bed frame!! AVOID AT ANY COST

Really bad they quote you one thing and then don't stick to it and triple it - knowing that they have you over a barrel because they have your stuff and they lied about where it's kept as well so it's ages away from where you wanted it. Really tricky to deal with and they just keep you on hold for hours with the accountant so that you give up and you pay the excess to get your stuff back..

Apalling. Booked and paid for a sofa to ve collected and deivered same day. They made excuses and had given up by 9:30am. Took the money, no delivery, refused a refund, wanted another 50% cost to do the job. complete scam , unhelpful. Rip off. Avoid at all costs. Disgusted.

Absolutely disgusting service from any van I booked a van to collect a bed when they arrived the couriers from what I found out they weren’t happy with the size of the bed where it was anyway fast forward five minutes I received an automated message not even a phone call to say you have to pay an extra £53 I instantly tried to call back the number. No one picked up the couriers left without my goods. It was impossible to get through to these people. I finally got through and spoke to several different representatives of this disgusting company. I think they play on peoples fear. The first person said oh you just rebook that cost you £26 then put the phone down. I phone back again someone said oh no no, no £43, he then put the phone down. I phoned back again. I was told oh sorry it’s £90 the phone went dead how convenient and then phone back again they said it’s £119. I asked them about my initial £53 that I had paid they said oh no no you can’t have that back what a scam what a scam.

Upon review of your booking we can see that when the Transport Providers arrived to collect the item it had been listed incorrectly, required dismantling and did also have an additional floor which was not advised. We can further see that when speaking to our customer service team the price quoted to you was the price to reschedule the booking and then make the amendments which were required. Upon further review, we note you did enquire about adding an additional person to assist with the move, and so the price of this was also provided to you. We apologise for the delay in getting through to speak to our team however, as the booking was listed incorrectly and the Transport Provider attending was unable to complete this we are unable to process a refund to you. Absolutely disgusted by this company. I paid to have a van collected and delivered. They cancelled this morning saying the van is too big for local collector. They are now refusing my refund which is absolutely disgusting!!! If not sorted I will have to go through trading standards. Shocking company!!
