FIRSTLY - the team that arrived and did our move were excellent and need commendation but they were/ are nothing to do with AnyVan they were subcontracted. SECONDLY - AnyVan is NOT a removal company. It’s purely a marketing telephone front who quote through their website then tender and subcontract the actual move to anyone who replies to the bid. After specifically asking AnyVan about moving my 49” TV (just an ordinary LG) and included it with my household goods they said that they had all the equipment, agreed to and charged me for moving it. AnyVan do NOT have the required protective equipment to carry a TV nor insurance if it gets damaged - so quite rightly my team would not take it. I had to make an extra 4 hour round trip to finally take the TV that I had been charged for in my estate car. I had a call from AnyVan apologising and said they would look at refunding the fee and compensation for not moving the TV and would call me back. I am still waiting a week later - I don’t believe they will call back. Waste of space company I would not recommend AnyVan to anyone and now regret using them and am considering legal options against them. . Use them at your peril.

Car from Belfast to North Yorkshire. Very reasonable price, very competitive. Driver extremely knowledgeable and he kept me informed about his journey and what his expected ETA was going to be. Got car in condition I expected. Company was very good at communicating with me. All in all a very positive experience.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by AnyVan during my recent house move. During the move, two of my televisions were broken beyond repair and several pieces of furniture were significantly damaged. This was not minor cosmetic wear — the TVs are completely unusable and the furniture damage materially affects both value and condition. What is particularly concerning is that the load was not properly secured in the van. No straps were used to secure items during transit, and no adequate protective wrapping was applied to fragile or high-value pieces. Basic, industry-standard precautions were simply not taken. It is therefore unsurprising that substantial damage occurred. Despite this, I have been offered just £100 per damaged item — an amount that does not come close to covering the actual replacement cost. For clarity, the full replacement value of the damaged items is: • TV 1 – £500 • TV 2 – £280 • King size ottoman bed – £475 • Double bed – £500 • Mattress 1 – £1,000 • Mattress 2 – £600 • Three-seat and two-seat sofa set – £1,500 • 2 × IKEA drawer sets – £198 Total loss: £5,053 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. That standard has clearly not been met in this case. I am seeking full reimbursement of £5,053, which reflects the genuine replacement value of the damaged items. The current offer is wholly inadequate and does not reflect the scale of the loss incurred. Until this matter is resolved fairly and in full, I cannot recommend this service to others.

Having reviewed your booking, we can see that your claim was raised on 4 March and is currently still under review. At this stage, no offers have been made to you. We would like to clarify that the level of cover chosen at the time of booking was Complimentary Cover. Under this cover, our transport partners are liable for up to £100 per individual item for any damage incurred. Extended cover options are available, which provide higher liability limits, but these were not selected or included in your booking. As such, the maximum liability under your booking is £100 per item. We understand this may not reflect the full replacement cost of the items affected, and we apologise for any disappointment this may cause. We hope this clarifies the basis on which the claim is being considered. Kind regards, AnyVan

Having a floor replaced created a huge pile of boarding and underlay. The flooring lads rang ANYVAN at teatime. They came the day after, about midday, and took it all away to a tip. Easy and effective.

Extremely dissatisfied with AnyVan’s service on 26 February. The move, scheduled to start at 08:00, was mismanaged from the outset. The team arrived unprepared, unaware that the fridge freezer required door removal, and lacked the tools or knowledge to handle it — leaving us to resolve the issue ourselves. The van provided was too small for the booked load, forcing multiple unnecessary trips and causing major delays. After completing one journey, the team left and did not return until 18:00, with final delivery not completed until 19:00. Throughout the day, repeated assurances that they would arrive “shortly” proved inaccurate. Additional serious issues: • No tail lift, despite this being required at booking • Dirty van flooring unsuitable for household goods • No protective sheets or adequate equipment • Insufficient manpower to safely unload heavy items • Fridge freezer sustained damage during handling Customer service communication was inconsistent and conflicting regarding the services included and what should have been possible. Overall, this was a deeply unprofessional experience that caused unnecessary stress, disruption, and damage. The service delivered was far below reasonable expectations and not in line with what was advertised. I would not recommend AnyVan based on this experience.

Fast efficient process! Friendly accommodating driver! Left a piece of the furniture on his van by mistake- drove back to our house after his shift and dropped it off! Would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family

Let me try and save you any hassle with booking with these absolute jokers if you actually want the job done and any degree of professionalism. 8 out of the last 10 google reviews are one star, hindsight is great but should have checked. Please dont let yourselves be let down by this so called company. Basically what you get is a company sub contracting out to Basically any old tom, dick and Harry with a van. Zero knowledge of removals and zero tools for the job and not even a van suitable! I had an office moved booked in with them for 1 item (yes 1 sole item) it is a very heavy hearing booth on wheels. Granted its an unusual item but supplied all the dimensions and weight so they know what working with. Accepted the job and paid for the service. Now today comes and they turn up outside of the delivery window. 2 hours early and I was not there as not expecting them. They came in a van with no tail lift, they had zero equipment such as a dollie or hand truck, no moving straps, ropes or chords, furniture sliders. Basically anything that is needed to move heavy furniture. They ended up refusing to take the item. The move consisted of moving it 200 yards and putting it into a lift. Could have done that myself, then saying it's too heavy to move. The driver then left. I was off site (as stated, it was outside the window) and it took me nearly an hour to get to speak with customer service. Put me on hold for a good while and the end solution was they would give me a refund (was told multiple times their terms mean shouldn't even get one and basically should be grateful). Didn't actually want this solution I wanted to get the item moved. Asked to speak to a manager and was Basically told it would take 24 to 48 hours for contact and the answer would be the same. Im now left with the said item still in an office we are meant to be vacating tomorrow. So, please , please, please dont use this company unless you want to be let down. Go read the Google reviews for yourself. Save yourself any stress and hassle and use a reputable company.

We’re sorry that your booking did not go ahead as planned and understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly given the time pressures around vacating your office. For clarity, while dimensions were provided at booking, the item in question weighed approximately 300kg. For health and safety reasons, our transport providers are unable to manually move items of this weight without specialist lifting equipment, such as a tail lift or mechanical handling tools. Where an item exceeds safe manual handling limits, the job cannot proceed. This is to protect both customers’ property and the safety of the crew. We can confirm that as the move could not be completed, your booking was cancelled and a full refund was issued. We appreciate that this was not the outcome you wanted, however safety considerations must always take priority. Kind regards, AnyVan
