“We booked them to move my daughter from a flat into a house which was 15 min drive away. We were quoted £89 for the list of items she had quoted for one man and the van as there were plenty of us to help with the removal. From the moment they arrived we felt like we were being ripped off. They instantly charged us £42 because it was a first floor flat and said it was an extra cost for the stairs ,they said we hadn't quoted for a washing machine to be moved which we obviously had so we were charged £11 for that.They were then counting small carrier bags with odd items in and telling us there would be a charge for those, so we ended up cramming 3 x cars with items because we were worried how much he was going to keep adding on to our original quote. We ended up paying £160. I wouldn't use again i felt like we were being milked for as much money they could get out of us. And the best of it was my husband and son in law were doing most of the donkey work carrying items down the stairs whilst the bloke stood in th back of the van loading it in.”

“Moving a grand piano - 2 men to tackle a 3 man job (result of a mangled message) but they tackled it imaginatively, cheerfully & willingly. I was very impressed. I was also impressed by the ease of arranging the job.”

“AnyVan moved my daughter and damaged my car in the process. They admitted responsibility and I was subsequently offered £43! I have repeatedly requested their insurance details and they have failed to provide them. The damage will cost hundreds of pounds to rectify. They have been a nightmare to deal with and don’t seem to behave like a normal company. AVOID if you value your property and sanity.”

“This is a joke. You are being charged by the box. You will always end up paying more on the day of moving. The driver turns up late. I would definitely not recommend. It’s better if you find a local person with a van who can help you out than go through big companies. I was not happy. I ended up paying much more than quoted”

“I was told it would cost £49.99 per week to store various items- I gave a very specific list, there was no room for misunderstanding. 10 days after the items were moved into storage I have finally had an invoice and they have told me that in fact the charge is £134.97. Somewhere in the small print of the contract it says that they can charge more if the items don’t fit into the intended unit, but for them to be trying to charge me over 2 1/2 times as much is outrageous. I actually feel as though I fell some sort of scam. I shall clearly be moving my items out of the storage they organised as soon as possible. Do not use them.”
