“I contacted the number provided asking accurate ETA, another number (the brother) contacted me and informed me of 12:45 (I booked 12-14:00) fairly good. I informed them that was doing few other rounds, with smaller things. They arrived 12:35, my wife opened 12:36 and I got back 12:47. Two people attended to make the move, one of them was a nice person who helped my wife with something. They told me that there were few things to sort such as emptying small items from drawers, and changes with the size of 1 sofa, the beds were not stated at ottoman and so there was an extra to pay. I thought the person talking was a professional, asked me to sign and I received an automated call from AnyVan and the got an additional £127. They started to empty the property. Then we arrived at the new property and I kindly asked them to remove the shoes as new carpet and outside very dusty; the answer was that they could not due to health and safety. Both wearing sneakers, not hard tip shoes. They started to thoroughly bring things where we guided them. Most of it was smooth but at the end, to rush hit the top of the stairs leaving a significant mark. Not a single sorry, but rather neglecting the mark. I was asked to sign again after one of the guys took few pictures to show they completed the job. I then reviewed the invoice for the additional amount. £52 were for the added/edited items. £75 for up to 30 minutes wait. Truly felt was not worth it. Also I understand that AnyVan retain a significant portion and drivers would have done it for 50-65% of final quote.”

“Two Hamas foot soldiers who couldn't speak English pulled up in an unmarked knackered van.They came in the house assessed what needed moving and refused to go upstairs and insisted I alone had to bring my stuff down.They did everything they could to get the job to fail.And it was.Anyvan refused to reimburse me and insisted I pay another £502 to get my stuff moved.Asshole of a company use at your peril.Abysmil outfit!”

“Was charged £500+ for my move then because of distance I was forced to pay an extra £100. I was told I would get refunded for this any only got refunded £80 Do not recommend”

“Very good website, informed at every stage. Able to edit and change items which helped as I had two weeks to move and didn't even know how many boxes I had or if I was taking furniture or not. The movers were perfect efficient, friendly, helpful. Went literally above and beyond, they need a raise for sure. Very very happy and would definitely recommend, wish I knew about anyvan earlier! Thank you”

“Good prices, good service but still waiting for some unresolved queries to be replied to. They tend to deal on WhatsApp and sometimes responsive, sometimes it goes quiet. My stuff has gone into the storage they arranged,so let's see if it gets taken care of and re-delivered correctly! Drivers arrived on time and were very careful with my stuff. Saved £ hundreds vs other quotes!”

We're sorry to hear how frustrating and upsetting this experience was, particularly given the difficulties you faced at the storage unit and the additional costs you incurred. Having reviewed the booking, we can confirm that the service was booked for 9 large boxes and 30 black bags. Our records indicate that the contents of the unit exceeded the inventory declared, including additional loose items and unpacked belongings. The Transport Provider therefore completed the items covered by the booking, rather than clearing the entire storage unit. AnyVan operates on an inventory-based system, meaning the service is arranged according to the items declared at the time of booking. Additional belongings need to be included so that the appropriate capacity and service can be arranged. We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but the booking covered the specified inventory rather than the full contents of the unit. Kind Regards, AnyVan
