has to be one of the worst removal companies I’ve used On paper appears organised but a complete mess. The driver calls me in the morning to ask to come earlier than planned, with a van that can barely hold all my items and when I needed to have additional bags taken tried to arrange a deal between ourselves outside the company. The phone lines were engaged for ages and when I finally spoke to someone rather than guide the customer through the next steps the callers proceeded to call the driver and argue with him instead. Once the driver had taken the items to the storage he refused to help unload despite the website boasting “helping hand” and proceeded to rush the storage check in clerk with document processing so he could leave. This has to be one of the most stressful removals I’ve had and frankly I can’t comprehend what there positive ratings are based on?

Any SCAM I recently moved house and some of my appliances included a fridge freezer and washing machine. Both in good condition with no visible markers, dents etc. This was a one person delivery as I had friends and family to help. When the driver dropped my items off 30 mins late he informed me that the equipment he used (on his own) to move my washing machine had broken and he had dropped my washing machine. My fridge freezer also had a massive dent on the front which was not there prior to the move. The driver looked visually upset and was close to tears! Very apologetic! Immediately I raised a complaint to which AnyVan informed me as it was a one person move it wasn’t there fault despite the driver admitting to me he had dropped my washing machine?? Barring in mind the plastic around the drum was completely battered! And they also stated my fridge freezer already had the massive dent on it. I wanted to escalate this further and called customer service who informed be I would have to take it up again with the claims team and there was no head office or hr that I could complain to. I have sent 4 emails from 15.11.25 and received NO response. I have requested the pictures of my fridge before the move as they stated the massive dent was already there. I paid nearly £200 for this move. Which if I was to dispute via my bank wouldn’t even compensate the cheapest washing machine at Argos with delivery and removal of my old one! Let alone my damaged fridge!! Please please please do not use this fraud company! Any Van? More like Any Scam!! They don’t tell you that your items are lumped in with a load of other people! There’s no customer service, no one cares. The only good service they provide is for “influencers” have a look of there social media pages- why are there so many hidden comments? Because there are most likely NEGATIVE and exposing this fraud company!!

This is a cunning company that understands if it makes certain things confusing it will be able to entrap a percentage of its customers and demand hidden fees, while also holding it's hands up and saying "who me? I'm just a respectable business trying to help. It's similar to the airplane cabin-luggage situation -> they know you're stressed and they take advantage. This is particularly painful as moving is extremely stressful and it's this vulnerability that the AnyVan business logic takes advantage of. I would stress that my driver was lovely and helpful, but the central system of bookings is all about keeping you in the dark. Beware their deceptively information-free language. "You’re all booked, the wheels are in motion!" -> means "we'll try to get you a driver within your time-slot, but it'll all be booked within 24 hours of the move and sometimes we can't find anyone and if that's the case we'll make it as difficult as possible for you to get a refund or compensation or even talk to a real person." Be careful about the list of items to move matching reality quite precisely -> they list "boxes" for instance and don't ask for dimensions, but dimensions do exist in their FAQs, withe small, medium and large dimensions giver, although it's not clear what you need to do with this. Obviously there's a practical explanation for this when it comes to taking up space in moving vans, but my impression is they make things deliberately opaque to entrap a percentage of customers. Be aware that they do not allow you to travel with the van. I was only told about this a day before the move despite writing in my booking a month before that that was the plan. In the interest of fairness I should say that, after the intense stress exacerbated by the repeated refusal of the company to answer my questions with anything other than vague platitudes ("we understand your time is valuable. We're optimistic about finding a driver soon") -> a driver was found and I haven't been targeted with hidden fees (yet). The move happened fairly smoothly. But that doesn't change what I wrote at the beginning of the review. Next time I'll go for a smaller company, or hire a van and a drivernindependently

DO NOT USE ANY VAN, DELIVERY of my items to my new houseWAS 7.5 HOURS LATE ON MOVING DAY* I used anyvan for my house move, just for context. I completely appreciate this is not the driver’s fault and it was out of their hands however the drivers were 7 1/2 hours late for my delivery which is unacceptable, I appreciate this was due to circumstances out of their control however if I was late or made them delayed then I would get charged so I would like a full refund. I was meant to have The contents of my house delivered between 1400 to 1500 and they arrived at 2135hrs which is ridiculous. They called me at 1300 to say that it would be 2000 rather than 1400 but it ended up being 2135 when they finally arrived which is insanity I contacted any van about this to ask for a refund as I know they would have charged me if I delayed them and they offered me a pitiful £20 to make up for this, stating it was not an admission of guilt but a goodwill token? 2135 is a terrible time to have the entire contents of your house delivered on moving day and caused me a multitude of problems. I would completely understand a couple of hours delay however 7.5 hours is utterly insane especially when you are moving house.

Driver was excellent, courteous, willing, friendly.Communication from Anyvan re timings and tracking info was spot on. The whole process from collection to delivery happened within the hour, perfect! All in all a brilliant service and will definitely recommend, and use again in the future. Thanks alot

The drivers are experienced thieves - AVOID! Using this company remains the worst decision l ever made. I rated the company one because there is no option to rate it zero. The drivers broke into my cabinet and STOLE ALL my jewelleries and every single thing in each drawer! They broke my furnitures - bed, cloth airer, under bed storage, my dining chairs. They left holes in most of my furnitures. Most boxes, which were individually and carefully sealed, had the tapes cut open - they were clearly looking for more items to steal. The most painful part was my cabinet they broke into and they basically emptied all my jewelleries and every content inside each drawer. The customer service team were not helpful either. They made me to waste more of my time to provide pictures and more information - I did! Only for them to email me they were unable to help because l did not put in the complain earlier I reached out to the customer service team when l noticed ALL the contents of my cabinet drawer had gone. It was a long distance move to a different town due to domestic violence. I needed to get away with my son - so we can live and escape all the abuse we were experiencing and start all over in new a new town where I knew no one. The cabinet in question contained all my irreplaceable jewelleries which l only wear when l am going out. As l was in a completely new and different town, l had earlier given up work before the move and l was in a new town where l knew no one and was then applying for new jobs from home - ONLINE. So l had no need to open the cabinet and only opened it like 3 weeks after my move to discover every single drawer empty! I have never recovered from the shock The whole experience left me broken. Needless to say l will never recommend this company. While it’s ok not to process normal complaints about broken items because it was not reported within 3 days, it’s not ok to push aside a complain regarding theft of items from drivers who l paid to MOVE my items and not STEAL from me. Very terrible experience

Very disgusting experience with AnyVan- This is my second time being let down. They’re not reliable. They broke the agreed delivery times and still have not delivered my belongings. Instead of taking responsibility ,they’re using every strategy to charge me an extra £75 for a mistake that was not mine. Their drivers are very unprofessional,, and customer service does not listen or help. When a problem.happens and you call, if you select the complaint option, you’ll stay on the line for years. If you select booking option, it goes through immediately. This shows how poorly they handle real complaints. I have evidence to prove everything. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Hi Matilda, Thanks for sharing your feedback. I have reviewed your account and the sales call to make sure we responded accurately. There was no agreement on a specific delivery time during the call. The only detail confirmed was that the job needed to take place the next day. When the booking was completed, no time requirement was mentioned and no guaranteed slot was agreed. The driver arrived within the standard delivery period, and the team advised that no one was available at the address. This makes the attempt unsuccessful, so the fee requested is valid and covers the cost of completing the delivery and releasing your items.
