“Having read about the potential benefits of 'fiddle' items, I noticed my wife (with Alzheimer's) fiddling with some cutlery one day and thought something purpose-made might be worth trying. I got my wife a Fiddle Muff and it holds her attention longer than anything else. Definitely worth trying.”

We are really very sorry to hear that your purchase was not as expected. The book has been designed with a set of images researched and chosen to help aid reminiscence and prompt conversations relating to these which can in turn spark other memories for the person. We know that not all activities work first time. It may be worth approaching it again on another day to see if this works, as every day can be different. We advise all our customers, that if they are not happy with the product they have purchased, then we do offer a hassle free 30 day returns policy, which our customer service team are happy to arrange for our customers.

“Very good product easy to put music on . My dad loves it. Easy to use for my dad to switch on and off . The only problem there is no volume switch . You need to put music on at same level . There is a switch at the bottom but difficult to use .”

We’re happy to hear that our customer found the music player easy to use. The volume control is designed to avoid being accidentally changed by the user. This could lead to the music being far too loud and disturbing, or too quiet so it may appear to be ’broken’. “Lovely book. Bought it for my aunt who is 87 & has Dementia. She loves it .The pictures helpto bring back memories. Her friends of a similar age but do not have Dementia really enjoy looking at it too.It is well worth the money.”

“I bought this for my husband who has Alzheimer's as it is similar to the ones in the care centre where he is at present. I have tried it and is seems great fun. The only thing is the bode is not quite as soft as the ones in the centre so I hope he likes it when he comes home soon.”
