“.Clunky does not always work especially the favourite buttons. This makes it difficult for people with dementia as they do not understand what is happening. With sky it defaults to the home screen and favourite buttons do not work. Appears manufacturer did not do any real life testing. Not recommended for dementia sufferers.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer experienced a problem with the favourites feature of the Flipper remote control. Both of these problems can be resolved. The channel skipping is a known issue that may sometimes occur when programming the favourites, this can be fixed and we've emailed our customer our detailed guide on how to do so and also information to resolve the issue with the Sky home screen showing. Most of our customers have no issue with the Flipper remote control but sometimes problems can occur during programming, we recommend customers contact our customer service team who'll be happy to help get the remote working. “I bought this on behalf of a friend who is caring for her husband who has alzheimers..the initial reaction was very positive..he reliased the cat was not real but seemed to derive comfort from talking to and stroking it..I am not sure if this was a sustained response as they do not live locally but am hoping so..she was seriously considering getting a cat for her husband to stroke and cuddle which worried me as aged 86 and disabled herself she has enough pressure caring for her bed bound husband and whilst a cat would be company for both it would also be a responsibility she really does not need so hopefully this has resolved the problem .I have no idea how he reponded to the jigsaw..previous attempts to interest him in similar activities have resulted in anger at being given a child's toy..she was waiting for the right time to give it a try.”

“Got it for my dad who has parkinsons who kept accidentally reprograming the previous dementia remote as he kept pressing all the buttons at once. This one has the buttons you need to press to reprogram it better positioned so he doesn't keep pressing them by acccident. The reprograming buttons are further apart from each other so he can't press them all at once when he slides his fingers across the buttons.”

“The remote is used with Sky Q and a Panasonic TV. The programming was simple but unfortunately the remote signal is sometimes not received correctly and the TV then needs the main sky remote to recover the situation. So this is not useful for my mother as she is confused by the need for 2 remotes. It’s a shame the reliability is not 100 percent as otherwise this would be perfect”

We have reached out to our customer to let him know that when the order was placed, the tablet organisers were on pre-order and are due to arrive at the end of the month. This should have been highlighted on the product and basket page. We've upgraded our customer's order to a next-day delivery service so it arrives as quickly as possible once stock is received.

“My mum has always loved doing jigsaws, but has found the piece size of a normal jigsaw to be a bit challenging. The 2 jigsaws we purchased were ideal. She has thoroughly enjoyed doing them as they are easy to handle and to see. The images are lovely and we have had many a conversation about the gardens. Will definitely be getting more.”
