“I bought this for my Gran, who is currently in hospital. It’s absolutely brilliant & she’s able to hear it (being almost fully deaf) without hearing aids, so does go incredibly loud whilst still being clear, even when using it with headphones. The only thing I’d suggest is to use a Kirby grip to adjust the sound buttons on the bottom & maybe print basic instructions on how to use it on the base or include a sticker to attach to it. I say this only because some family members thought it was much more technical than it actually is. Good sound quality, user friendly for dementia & we wish we’d found this years ago for her. Thank you!”

“My mother had to move into sheltered accommodation a few years ago and had to give her cat to me. My brother and I purchased the ginger tabby and she absolutely loves it especially the purring. My only regret is that we didn't get her one sooner.”

“The AlzProducts website was user friendly and the ordering process was clear and easy. Customer service were polite and helpful when I told them I wanted to return the product but they were not interested in the reason for the return. To date I have not yet received my refund but it has been less than a week so hopefully this will not be a problem”

“This is a good music player for demetia sufferers which is easy to use. I bought one for my wife who is in a care home on the recommendation of a family friend. It has a 3GB memory for adding music which is ample for mp3 files. Most of my music is in flac format but Icould still addover 100 tracks. I found that music is played in order loaded even if rearranged in the memory subsequently. Consequently, I compiled a file of album tracks which I then ordered by name to shuffle them before loading into the player. Playlists would be another solution. Volume adjustment is by recessed buttons on the base of the player so not easily adjusted by the user. Otherwise, controls are dementia friendly - lift he lid to play, press the button to skip track and close the lid to stop. When visiting, it allows us to have a dance in her room to reinforce our relationship. A good purchase.”

“The machine is good but 50% of my pills get stuck and have to be pulled out. I think that the pills are hygroscopic and swell very slightly. Not ideal but now I have the hang of it, I can cope.”
