“On time and as described albeit I should have checked for the colour. I assumed that as I was searching for a car that was silver the wing mirror would be silver. My mistake but i only saw the warning that colours may be different after receiving my part. Maybe this warning should be more prominent or the description of the item being sent should include the colour or, maybe i should be more diligent. Either way would definately use 1st Choice again.”

“Emails started arriving in a short space of time. Contacted a supplier to make sure tank was still available,It was,ordered then and there.When I had not received tank after five days.I contacted the supplier who could not have been more helpful.I was supplied with tracking number to trace delivery,turns out tank was down for delivery the Monday after it left supplier but was put off Mon Tue & Wed.I started chasing courier for delivery, was finally delivered on the Friday.”
“We waited 3 weeks for our part. Confirmed that they had the correct part, we exchanged multiple emails. Only to be told 3 weeks later that they have lost the part. We have our car repair delayed by 3 weeks just because of incompetency of these people. Look elsewhere if you can.”

“Having ordered the part I received photos of the part but I didn’t realise I had to confirm this was the correct item this resulted in a delay and the part wasn’t available anymore but they had another one which i confirmed and waited for delivery. Unfortunately the next thing I received was a refund
So I still need the part which I shall have to pursue when I return from holiday”

The nature of recycled spares is that they are not always available.
If after checking your emails or texts, you do not receive many quotes first time round, it's likely your parts were not widely available on that day.

The team at Derby Auto Salvage sourced those in the same colour reducing amount of respray needed, condition was good for the price and they delivered the doors within a working week despite having to send them to other end of the country.
