“I have paid for my gearbox but still haven’t received it from A+C Auto salvage (uk) LTD and been given several dates of delivery and nothing has arrived going to wait 1 more day before contacting my bank to claim payment back for gearbox payment that I paid very disappointing.”

“I cannot fault the 1st Choice platform, but I can fault the suppliers on the platform. Dealing with MGS AUTOMOTIVE LTD was an unpleasant experience. Initially, I was told the part was in the UK, then after challenging this statement, they admitted the part was coming from Spain, but do not be concerned as "we have a fasttrack courier who can get it into the country in 3 days". I agreed and paid for the part. After 2 weeks (10 working days) not hearing from them, I enquired about the delivery of the part, only to be told it has been "stuck in customs". After a further week, I enquired again, only to be told the part arrived damaged and therefore they cannot supply the part and I will be refunded. The only highlight of this experience was that I was refunded, the 1-star review is for the unpleasant experience and the waste of my time and leaving me without a car for 3 weeks due to their incompetence.”

“I was sent the wrong window regulator (£72) by a 1st choice supplier. As my garage could not fit it (after removing the broken part) I have £79 extra cost to put the window back again as I needed the car. Although I got a refund for the 1st choice part, I could not get any compensation from them for the garage cost....”
“I’ve tried to return faulty door had no help ! It Will cost more to return or same as the door price! I was told it was in mint condition but it’s very rusty and cost a lot of money !”

“Part was ordered and paid for but subsequently cancelled same day due to incorrect part advertised by dismantlers. However, the cost was still deducted from my bank. After numerous requests for a refund and no response from 1st choice 12 days ago. My bank is now chasing refund.
I would not use 1st choice again.. beware. !!”

“29th of July paid for a replacement 2015 engine, The delivery was initially promised within 3–5 working days, but the item did not arrive until more than a week later.
Upon delivery to my garage, it was confirmed that the engine was not the correct model. Specifically, it was a 2012 engine, and several parts and the engine code did not match my vehicle’s specifications. As a result, my mechanic advised that I return the engine.
I contacted Vauxhall Spares Ltd multiple times to discuss the matter. During these calls, I was treated rudely by various staff members. Despite forwarding a detailed report from my garage and requesting either a correct replacement or a full refund, I have no response.
Since then, I have made several follow-up calls to the company, during which I have continued to experience unprofessional and dismissive behavior. I have repeatedly been told I would receive a call back from either the manager or an engineer—yet no one has contacted me.”

“Seemed good at first but after spending time on the phone to make sure I ordered the correct part, sadly, the wrong part arrived 1 day late. Wbe I rang to arrange swap or refund I was told I'd have to post it to them and the chap on phone was rude (garage in Oldham)
I cancelled my payment in the end and the part is ready to be collected, can't recommend based on my one experience but ii think it is a failure in the garage tbf.”

“DO NO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY I PAID £42 FOR A APART THEY PHONED ME TO SAY IT WAS BROKEN, I THEN TOLD THEM ON THE PHONE TO STOP LOOKING AND I BOUGHT THE PART I NEEDED FROM GERMANY SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY REFUND AS THEY PROMISED IF THEY DID NOT PROVIDE THE PART THEY WOULD GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK I HAVE PHONED AND PHONED AND I AM SICK OF EMAILING AND GETTING NO ANSWERS NO RETUN CALLS SO I PHONED CAPITAL ONE. THEN IT GOT WORSE, I HAVE FILLED IN FORMS 5 TIMES FOR CAPITAL ONE AND AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF SENDING ANOTHER FORM BACK THAT ARRIVED FROM THEM TO GET MY £42 BACK. DO NOT DEAL.”

“Bought a gearbox from T p x Japanese parts and I fitted it and it was faulty so I removed it and contacted them and a week later they still have not contacted me to return. I’ve called them 3 times but keep getting promised and yet nothing.”

“Paid for a gearbox for a Kia Sportage 2017 and was told it was an overseas shipment and would obviously take longer than normal 5-7 days delivery and it will be approx 10-15 days. I received an email saying it was due to be delivered on 19th June and did not arrive. The tracking details were very slow with very little detail and when it did arrive on the 4th July the tracking did not let me know. Today 7th July the repair garage phoned me to say they had sent a 2019 hydraulic gearbox which is a totally incompatible gearbox for my vehicle even though checks were made for my make, model, and year and confirmed to be a correct replacement. I now have to go through the process of a refund and return the gearbox aswell as trying to source another while my vehicle remains at the garage and I have had the expense of a hire a vehicle during this time. Last but not least the packaging was damaged in transit and and had to be repackaged adding further delay to delivery. One star given as there is no option for zero stars”

“Part was not the one I ordered. I was sent a photo of a genuine Citroen part but I was sent a poorly made aftermarket part that I could have bought on eBay for less than £10. But I was still charged £40 which I would have been happy to pay for the genuine part. I felt ripped off and my customer had to put up with a cheap, inferior part. Delivery took well over a week which is rubbish.”
