“This is the second year of ordering a Swaledale Cockrrel - we enjoyed last years. Easy to order and arrived on the requested day. An even better if would be cooking instructions as the QR code on the packet took me nowhere and if I had followed generic instructions on line my cockerel would have been hugely dry and overcooked! 🤣 i will definitely reorder next year.”

“The meat is always well packed and arrives fresh. We had a large boned and rolled sirloin for our Christmas dinner and it was the best beef o have tasted in a very long time. I will certainly buy it again.”

“The turkey that I’d ordered on 3rd October for delivery on 23rd December. Did not turn up. This was a potential disaster as we were catering for 10 people on Xmas Day. Swaledale customer services did their best to rectify the situation (the bird had been damaged in transit) and offered a replacement bird to be delivered on Xmas Eve. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received. I will have no hesitation in using Swaledale again - despite the hiccup in this instance.”

“Overall it’s a very good service and online butchers. I’d say they are behind the curve in not phasing out Prague Powder/ sodium Nitrites. And if thy did I think they’d find the market other product expanded. Until they do the processed meat we will only use for very rare occasions given its widely known health issues.”
