“From order to delivery excellent. Saddle of venison delicious and tender. Cannot review lamb, pork etc because haven’t tried them yet, however they look great.”

“Excellent products and totally delicious. I love their nose to tail ethos and have tried many non traditional steaks and now prefer them. Delivery always straightforward. I order regularly so would recommend highly.”

“We ordered the whole chicken & pigs in blankets to have for Christmas Day and the meat was exceptional. I will definitely be ordering the chicken directly going forwards rather than going to local butchers as no water came out whilst cooking and really tasty flavour. Looking forward to trying the other items we purchased & will defo keep a freezer drawer free for future orders.”

“The venison fillet is excellent and very well priced. Recently ordered the Onglet steaks - again excellent, delicious and again amazingly good value. Orders arrived quickly, well packed in ice. Highly recommended.”

“This is by far some of the best meat we have tasted. I was unsure about buying meat online but the system is efficient and the goods were packed perfectly. The fillet steaks were delicious and the porchetta was divine will definitely be using Swaledale again.”

“Turkey was delicious and delivery was on time and the turkey was chilled properly. However when I order a turkey that should weigh between 5 and 6 kilos I do not expect it to weigh 4.91kg. I know it is only a small difference but when you pay a premium price for the turkey I did expect it to weigh 5kgs at the very least.”

“The turkey was delicious - but the delivery was disappointing. One of the reasons for buying from you was that you were local, but the turkey went down to Hinckley before coming back to Yorkshire, and it was delivered on 21st (at around 6.30pm) rather than the expected 20th (I’ve got screenshots). Presumably it spent over 24 hours in transit. I have an order due to be delivered on 31st and can only hope that it’s delivered on that date.”
