“I've always had excellent service from Swaledale their products are really good quality, however my last order was not delivered due to a problem with DPD their carrier Swaledale are putting it right I will use them again”

“Bought meat online this Christmas for the first time ever.I'm 65 yrs old and grew up in the retail meat business in Liverpool so know one end of a pig from the other.I live in rural North wales and have lots of very good traditional butchers locally but was looking for a new Xmas centrepiece for the table after being a bit underwhelmed by local beef recently.I saw the 2.8 kgporcetta on the website and thought that looks tasty😋and ordered it with some short beef ribs for a beef and onion pie. We had 12 for Xmas dinner and roasted our usual local turkey boneless crown which is the thing every comments on and this year the porcettaalong side it. The porcetta was a perfect pork Xmas centre piece absolutely stole the show everyone raved about it . One word ....forget all the fancy porcetta recipes online like fallow etc just cook it like a traditional joint in a high oven to temperature and give it 30 mins to rest. Sous vide the beef ribs and made new year pie .....stunning ! Thanks swaledale you've convinced me online butchery can delivery the goods . I'll definitely be back during the year for some special treats and trying your selection of beasts x”

“First time using Swaledale. Took a risk and ordered our Christmas, Boxing day and NY day meat all in one delivery. Worked out perfectly. Arrived exactly when they said it would on Cristmas Eve. Less expensive and much tastier than our normal Xmas meats. Will do this again.”

“My first order with Swaledale butchers was rolled saddle of lamb,which we served on New Year's Day,besides ourselves our friends were extremely complimentary about the meat,the lamb was exceptional and full of flavour and certainly exceeded our expectations.We were so impressed with the quality that we have ordered a variety of of meat as our next order to taste and confirm that apart from the lamb other meat was of the same quality available from this butcher.”
