“The best merguez, chicken breasts, bacon and Cumberland. Excellent service. One star deducted because we were less keen on the vinegary notes in the St John haggis and it exploded in the oven (water bath at 150c). I'll go back to Fruit Pig for my haggis.”

“Sirloin & venison sausages absolutely excellent. However, probably my taste, but the artisan St John’s haggis had way too much allspice seasoning to the point of it tasting medicinal; it was also extremely salty. Could be just my taste, but we did not enjoy it at all and left much.”

“Am very sorry to say that my recent sirloin steak order wasn't too good. Although tasty, it was quite chewy with sinew/gristle left in the steak. From a personal view, it was also too thin. As a new customer, I am not sure if I have the option to request thicker steaks cut to my preference ( around 10oz ??) My purchase was exceptionally well packed N.B.The centre-cut fillet was perfect 😉 Thank you”
