“Beef fillet was tasty, as was the lamb shoulder. The lamb shoulder fell off the bone and made a fantastic gravy from the stock - I am yet to have the lamb rack as that was bought as a "just in case" and the shoulder fed 10 (6 adults 4 kids) so there was no need for the rack.”

“The meat we ordered, including pork belly, lamb shanks, sausages and bacon has been delicious. It was also delivered on time as requested. However, the carrier DPD didn’t knock on our door when it delivered but simply sent an email claiming it had left the parcel in the front porch. The problems with that were: I only saw the email by chance - a text would have been more failsafe - and we don’t have a porch so the cardboard carton was left out in the open in the rain that was then falling. Luckily I managed to retrieve it before it was too sodden. Other than this gripe, I’ve been very pleased.”

“I am now a committed regular user of Swaledale simply because I can trust their products, the provenance and the consistent quality. No more supermarket bacon that exudes excessive liquid and shrinks to nothing, or sausages of dubious quality masquerading as "butchers" with all kind of bizarre ingredients. I'd rather pay a decent price for a decent product than keep the supermarkets in excess profit and receive rubbish in return.”

“This order didn’t seem as good as previous. Bacon had an odd taste and the sirloin wasn’t as flavourful. The shin and sausages were good though.”

“The box was in original good condition, and the meat quality was good. However, one package's packaging bag failed to be properly vacuum-sealed, and it was filled with air inside. I'm worried about whether the meat may have been contaminated or spoiled. However, I still hope this was just a one-time misfortune.”
