“Bought chickens for Christmas Day with a delivery date of the 19th December however when they arrived the best before date was 24th December - seems a little strange and inconvenient when they were part of a Christmas order”

“All products received have been of excellent quality and they are priced fairly. The website is easy to navigate and delivery has always been on time and as agreed. I will continue to buy less meat, but of a higher quality from Swaledale Butchers. Yes, it is a little more expensive than the average supermarket, but it is clear where the extra money goes, in terms of quality.”

“Ordered on a Monday and venting and the meat was delivered by Wednesday morning. However , delivered to another house in my street and my friend nd hasn’t received the £10 introduction for my referral. The beef short ribs were beautiful. Just little hiccups for a first order”

“Great leg of lamb and merguez sausages, excellent quality and tasted delicious! Sadly the dry cure bacon was full of water when frying but did have great flavour. This was my 2nd order and will continue to buy again!”

“We originally ordered the Tuscan Sausages as we saw them on James Martin. I ordered the back bacon with the sausages and the bacon was outstanding - no white froth, amazing taste of fat and just very good. I placed a bigger order with some chicken breasts included. They were outstanding. Even my husband who can be finnicky with chicken commented on the flavour and tenderness. So far, I have been seriously impressed with the quality of the meat. Great to find an online butcher of such quality!”

“Just place my 16th order in just under 2 years (and have never had to pay for delivery!). Everything; service, packaging and most importantly quality has been faultless. If i had to single out one producer it would be Ed Wilkinson and his chickens and roosters, so tender and tasty. It's so good to know that everything comes from small-scale farms with caring farmers using heritage breeds and is "always fresh never frozen". Thanks everyone, keep up the great work.”
