“Best quality meat by miles and makes cooking a joy. No need for steak knives at all with the Denver and Flat Iron. Rest them for a few minutes, as recommended, and they cut like a dream with just ordinary cutlery. The chicken supremes are delicious and because of their generous size, I now cut a bit off of each and use the trimmings to make a lovely chicken and mango salad the next day. The mince is really good - no problem with nasty grease and swimming in fat. The breakfast chipolatas are to die for. I actually use them for a main meal rather than breakfast and they go very well in a traditional toad in the hole or with colcannon. Everything we have ever purchased has been of excellent quality and the protective paper wrapping is utilised in the shed, giving my seeds something cosy to sit on.”

“The order arrived exactly when stated, well packed. All the meat looks lovely but it won’t be tried until Christmas so cannot review each product. The meat was selected as requested but within the budget rather than some places who give you over and then charge. We are always encouraged to shop locally - we couldn’t be much further away but locally we cannot get this meat for the price. For example we ordered a tongue for last Christmas, it cost just over £30.00 for one. The two we have received are much bigger and came in at less than we paid for one. If the meat is good, then Swaledale could end up being our local ! Communication was excellent and prior to the order they answered a query on email very quickly.”

“As always it was amazing. We had the Porterhouse Steak, Rolled Brisket and Venison, Pork & Smoked Lardo Burgers. Every one of these products we absolutley fantastic. Delivery was on time and as promised, best before dates on each product was awesome, while still remaining exceptionally fresh. We have tried numerious products and each time it has been tremendious. We also online order after working hours and the products are turned around next day and delivered as promised. Each and every time the food is packaged perfectly, arrive fresh, cold and undamaged. The staff here (and cleary the farmers) work hard and we trully appreicate it. Better than any supermarket chain and even blows away our local butcher. Thank you Swaledale Staff, we genuinely mean this.”

“Arrived on time and well-packaged. Have put in the freezer until the festive period so haven't actually tasted yet. But everything (diced venison, beef and lamb and lamb merguez sausages) looked great and if it's anything like past orders I'm sure it will all be delicious.”
