“Would highly recommend! All meat fresh, you can see what you are buying, you can see if an item is out of stock! Which i like personaly, rather than planning to use it and it not be delivered last minute! But what i realy like about Swaledale butchers is the produce is all from local high welfare cared for animals, and u can realy taste the difference! The meat tastes like its supposed to, delicous, you kind of go back in time when u eat it! Im a 58 year old mother and grandmother iv not lost it or going bonkers! It realy is like stepping back in time! The bacon alone is to die for! Chicken is sublime! All i can say is try it for yourself! Its a bit more expensive than you would pay for at say a supermarket etc! But boy is it worth it! And if like me i make sure every bit is used and eaten, out of respect for the animals its good value all round, i like the fact im eating meat from animals that have had a good natural life.”

“2nd time of buying and still very good quality, will be back but unfortunately not for everyday only weekends. The Barnsley lamb chops did lack in taste but tender (that's meat for you), the Pork chops are great as is the dry cured bacon, beautiful.”

“I ordered 2 x 2.6Kg boned legs of lamb for Easter Sunday lunch. We had 7 adults plus 5 children who sat down for the meal. At the end we had very little left. FABULOUS!”

“Excellent meat products.Top-class quality. I buy salt beef from them as I cannot get this meat from another source. Soak for a few hours in cold water, if you find it too salty.”
