“I've tried a small range of whats on offer in a few orders and they are to be congratulated on great produce and a good price. Ordering simple, great choice, arrives in a few days - whats not to love about it? Previously, I have tried the ox cheeks, the short ribs and the smoked back bacon - all flavoursome and juicy, tender. Smashing!”

“We was looking at online butchers as the supermarket meats and local butcher's meat we have tried various places for meat haven't been up to scratch for us you don't know what you're getting I would rather pay the extra and have Quality meat from farm's like yours when we have Steak on rare occasions I want Quality and we get that from Swaledale Butchers all fresh not frozen so far so good hope this continues Exceptionally great taste even when my wife prefers well done Steak keep up the great work you do Regards Anthony Roberts.”

“While the meat was very tasty less than half was edible due to the level of fat on both pieces of meat. The meat I received was around 30% meat to 70% fat, which is poor considering the price. This is disappointing as Swaledale was highly recommended. I am unsure whether I would place a further order due to this experience.”

“Excellent packaging I have only given 4 stars (at the moment) as I have only used the mutton and sausages, both were excellent. The one downside was the delivery driver put the package on my doorstep, knocked the door and left without waiting for me to answer, when I called to thank him he said he was in a hurry.”

“I like to know where my produce come from and this is as transparent as it gets. The products are excellent quality (our Christmas turkey was the best ever!), and the website is very simple to use, with excellent descriptions and even recipes ideas. It is a bit more expensive than supermarkets, but you definitely get when you pay for; the quality and provenance are more than worth it. Products always beautifully packaged, cold packed, and delivered on time. I can’t fault anything!”

“Ordered a cockeral for Christmas dinner, never had one before and was very impressed. The flavour was just phenomenal, slightly gamy very different from either chicken or turkey. The paired pork, prunes in Armagnac, shallot and sage stuffing was beautiful. Made for a memorable meal. Would definitely recommend.”
