Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“I would give 5 stars because the service is great, but o has to check the website longer than 3weeks to find out if the product I was looking for was available. And it wasn’t for over month. Until I got p hold of you guys by messenger and help me out. And the waiting was around 10 days. I just recommend to have availability of your products at all times. Beside that, the customer service experience amis great. This is the second jacket I buy for my puppy and I can’t never get the right size, but the staff always is willing to help me. I love the jacket. Thank you”

So pleased we could help, your dog looks great. Re availability, we do normally try to keep a full range in stock but I'm afraid the last year has seen so many logistics and supply chain issues with vendors that the odd delay Im afraid does happen. International freight is at an all time high cost wise, factories are producing less due to staffing issues and obviously we rely on all these working well to deliver. Our vendors on the whole have done a great job considering, trust us we'd love to have everything in stock all the time but todays commercial world does have some issues Im afraid.

“We have miniature daschunds and found this harness through a friend who has a daschund… it’s a great fit and to be able to adjust the shoulder and waist is really good. Great choice of colours too”

“My products arrived promptly. The lead I loved from the start. The harness I struggled with and I wondered if it was going to work for my dog. I contacted Customer help. It was not possible as far as I could see to phone and at first, I could not work out whether I was in a live chat situation or email since the screen appeared to show a potential support person poised to 'speak to me). As it was a bit confusing and I could not speak to anyone I gave 4 rather than 5 stars. It turned out to be more email based and the support person was very helpful and I was able to work through the issues with him. Resulting in me persevering with adjusting the harness and keeping it. I had spent a long time researching suitable harnesses and it did seem to be perfect for my needs.”

Hello Susan, Glad to hear that your products arrived quickly. The crag leashes are great and come with some fantastic patterns. With the front range harnesses, they can be a little fiddly at the beginning to fit and we are sorry to hear that there was a struggle in communication at the start. However, we are more than happy to help and glad to hear that you got assistance in the end. The front range harnesses are great and whilst at the beginning can be difficult to fit, they do offer the best fit possible with 3 points of adjustment, allowing for the best security and optimum fit. “We bought the Rukka - Protect Overall coat for our dog. We are really happy with the coat and how well it protects the dog from the rain. We chose the size based on their sizing guideline which I think could be improved as it's too big for her. The coat has a tear in it already which is a shame but this could be my fault to be fair trying to get the coat on and off. Overall, I think this company will continue to improve their products as you can tell they care so I would buy with them again for sure.”

Not every dog is the same size and shape. This is why our exchange service is quick, easy and free! As soon as your return arrives at Mountain Dog HQ, we process your request and we get your new order picked, packed and shipped ready for collection at 4 pm. This can be affected by bank holidays or weekends, but we aim to do this even across those holidays to make sure we have happy customers (Even the ones with wagging tails!).
