Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“We bought the Rukka - Protect Overall coat for our dog. We are really happy with the coat and how well it protects the dog from the rain. We chose the size based on their sizing guideline which I think could be improved as it's too big for her. The coat has a tear in it already which is a shame but this could be my fault to be fair trying to get the coat on and off. Overall, I think this company will continue to improve their products as you can tell they care so I would buy with them again for sure.”

Hello, Thank you for leaving a review. Here at Mountain dog, we completely understand that measuring for dogs can be difficult even when our sizing guides are 100% accurate. Not every dog is the same size and shape. This is why our exchange service is quick, easy and free! As soon as your return arrives at Mountain Dog HQ, we process your request and we get your new order picked, packed and shipped ready for collection at 4 pm. This can be affected by bank holidays or weekends, but we aim to do this even across those holidays to make sure we have happy customers (Even the ones with wagging tails!). We are glad to hear that you found our process easy and got the right fit for your furbaby! We hope to see you shopping with us again soon. “I have been happy with all my purchases from Mountain Dog, including my bicycle dog carrier, my dog lead belt and leads. I haven’t used the dog carrier yet but it’s all assembled now and ready to go. It looks really good and well made.🤞”

Thank you for the kind review. Our free P&P comes in at £40 which is very competitive compared to other partners. The challenge is that we spend many thousands of pounds per month on free carriage but it's a balance between having good service (people to attend to issues) and offering such a one time benefit. “This is a small device which I have fitted to the side of my puppy’s harness. It does the job of alerting people and drivers to her, from a distance. Ideally one fitted each side of the harness would work better. The device is good value but I’m not sure that it will be very long lasting as it feels a bit fragile.”
